Package booking/Pin question.

Hi all! I am planning on a May 2017 visit. We have booked six months in advance on previous trips and always had a pincode before booking that is better than the advertised deals on moderates and deluxes. Has anyone found that if you book your package as soon as the package pricing/booking is available (before a pin comes) would the pin mailing after booking more than likely not happen because the trip would already be booked?
