Here's another one to add to the list of CM quotes! I just called for Chef Mickey ressies this morning. CM said no PPP in 2009, and none for the June date that I wanted. WAAAA!

Also, Dec. 22 is still the date to call in for rest of ADRs, supposedly!

I think it is pretty clear there will be no parties in 2009.
This is not negativity, just sharing......

While I was hopeful at first, my relation at Disney Corp also confirmed this for me last night and mentioned a memo that went out on Monday to the mgmt team at reservation office.

He said, "anything can change, but do not get your hopes up." I do trust him as he has provided me real inside information several times that always proves accurate.

If there isn't any parties, which it looks like may be true- Oh well.... doesn't surprise me. Right now I am so stressed out with my every day life I am to the point I don't care any more. I just wish Disney would make up their mind about the ADRs dates so I can finish planning. With all this I am to the point that even some of the excitement of our upcoming trip this March has faded away some.

Just went to the Disney Wide World of Sports page for the Princess Marathon....
They used to advertise the Party on the site as a benefit to the runners, it's not there any more.
We're doomed!!!

While I would have liked to attend my very first PPP, I am still going to Disney and that is okay enough. I am not disappointed in the removal of the parties as much as I am Disney not making an official announcement like they would anything else.

I will be shaving a day off my vacation, however.

As a part of our normal course of business, we regularly evaluate our offerings and make appropriate adjustments as needed. As a result, we will not be offering Mickey’s Pirate & Princess Party special events in 2009.

Let it go!! We are sad we are not having the parties but happy to still have jobs!!!

For those of you with March + reservations, please keep checking back...I don't think the new dine system is rolling out...surprise surprise

Already figured this out. Can't say I am not disappointed since I never had been to the party. Now just hoping for the ADRs on the 22nd. This has become such a pain.
