P&P Party tickets

I agree!

That is why I have the email into them. I really think they need to consider taking those dates off of their crowd calendar until they get an "official" word. It is kind of misleading to folks who have not heard or been on these boards!

I have some news regarding the P&PP scheduled for the weekend of the Princess Half Marathon.

I was at the marathon this weekend and went to the Disney booth at the Expo. I inquired about the party since we'd already purhcased tickets. At first I couldn't get any information, but I finally got a person who knew something. He said the party for the half marathon would be moved to Hollywood Studios and it would be called a Once Upon a Time party or something. I'm really annoyed about it. I think this means that parties are off.

I'd been wondering about the P&PP as well. I thought maybe we'd be able to catch one, since we'll be there in March, but I guess not. I'd asked a CM when I was making ADRs and they just said no, there wouldn't be an party during my stay.

I was kind of disappointed, because I really liked MVMCP, and I wanted to try another party at MK. But I guess that's going to be for another time.

I'd sure love to hear if anything changes or if the party will be held at another park.

No street party is going to be a hard ticket event like a MP&PP, MNSSHP, or MVMCP.

It is. The street party at MK is taking over for Family Fun Day parade.

I don't believe there is much to be added to this discussion, but if it helps, all Pirate and Princess Parties are 100% definitely cancelled for the first half of 2009, and there is 0% chance that they will be added. There is no decision on August through early September, but as of right now they will not be held then either. I am unaware of any plans one way or the other toward 2010.

Maybe it's a good sign that Disney still includes the PPP on the 2009 planning DVD! Let's hope that means that there are more FABULOUS Pirate parties to come! Here's hoping because that was the most fun we've ever had!
We are going back at the end of Jan 2010 and I've got my fingers crossed for a PPP & Im not giving up hope!
