P&P Party tickets

I called again this morning like I was told to by a CM yesterday. Again I was told the tickets for the & party is not out. This CM said they give the CMs a 24 hour heads up so it won't be today. Hearing so many different stories is so aggravating. Sure hope Disney makes up their minds soon when the tickets will go on sale. I sure would hate miss it and not be able to go.

Just thought I would let you all know today, I think, I guess is not the day.

From the looks of it no one is really interested but I will report it any way. As of today (this morning) Sunday 11-9 the tickets still are not up for sale. This time I got a male CM who wasn't very friendly or helpful. I will call again tomorrow morning.

It IS very frustrating. And I never would have even known about the P&PPs (or gotten my hopes up) until the CM that I talked to on Wednesday evening had told me "It looks like there's going to be two P&PPs during the time you're going to be here - be sure to buy your tickets when they go on sale this Friday!"

As far as I know, none of them have even come close to selling out. There is no reason to think that missing the on-sale date by a week or two is going to be a problem.

I truly believe they are waiting to see how popular the current promo will be and how many people will be booking it before releasing dates. Perhaps they are considering cutting back on a few dates, or even adding a few more depending on bookings.

I sure hope they don't cut out the 1st of April since that is the only time we have for our trip. One CM did ask me what date I was interested in. All the others didn't.

I was thinking though April fools day would be a funny, fun day to go to the party more chances of practical jokes and all maybe.

I hope they don't cut back on your date either, Stitchfans. I hope they do not cut the June date we want either. I have never been to a PPP before and early June is the only way I will ever have an oppty.

P&PP isn't on the list of "Special Events" on the calendar pages. Was it before, or has it been missing all along?

No P&P was not on the Special Event Page, as I looked this morning. They have posted things for 2009, because I am looking into doing the Flower & Garden event they have at Epcot, so I am trying to do everything in one visit. I have also called and been told that no dates have been announced. I hope they add more dates that are Saturday, so I do not have to pull my daughter out of school. When I get an update I will also post.

I did a little digging with google. The UK site still has the party on the Events page, and still has the Party page. Google's cache copy of the page from November 4th has mention of the party. I was going to post a link to it, but it looks like Google re-cached it when I looked at the old version, and so now the evidence is gone.

April 1st is the only one (of the unofficial dates) that falls during our trip too, I really hope it'll still happen!

Well, I made my morning ritual of calling tickets and asking if the Pirates & Princesses Party tickets were on sale yet...and she told me "Yes!". So, she starts taking my info, and verified the date (May 20th)...I was so excited!! Then its...."Ut Oh"..."I don't think they've put them in our system yet".

She said they spent the weekend trying to update everything, and evidently it hadn't gone through yet, and to try back either later today, or tomorrow. Gee where have I heard that one before?

She was very nice though!

At this point, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed...hopefully there will be an official announcement soon!
