Owning points at 2 resorts????HELP!!!!

I am fairly new, Just signed my papers. I own 150 BWV February use year.
Now if I were to add-on... lets say 50 or 100 points at OKW via resale.
I would have 200 or 250 points but at 2 different resorts.
When I would make a reservation requireing more than 150 at BWV can I use the 50 or 100 from OKW? I know about the 11 month window... does that apply if I am using some from OKW?
I ubderstand most but this confuses me...

It's pretty straightforward once you get used to it. You can book a reservation at the 11 month window for your home resort. So you could book BWV at the 11 month window using your 150 BWV points. If you bought OKW points, you could add on to that BWV reservation at the 7 month window using those points. You only get the booking advantage with the home resort points.


Now...not to get too confusing, you could do what we do. Let's say you buy a 150 point OKW contract.

You could bank one contract points and borrow the other one and alternate years.

So you could then do a 300 point BWV reservation all with BWV points. Then the following year you could do a 300 point OKW reservation all with OKW points.

Make sense?

Do what Granny said. This will make your life so much easier. We own at BWV & HH and one yr we use our BWV pts and the next we use our HH pts. Very simple.

For you - through banking and borrowing you would have:

300 pts BWV one yr and

either 100 or 200 pts at OKW the other.

One suggestion, if you are unsure and would like to operate in how Granny suggested, I would purchase a 100 pts. You can actual do something working with 200 pts a yr. 100 every other yr just wouldn't cut it and you would be adding on again real soon. I don't know your finances and what is doable for you, but if you are on these boards, you probably would be looking for another add on real soon.
