Owner Lockers.....a couple of questions please....

At one time I did considerate it. However, I feel the added expense puts undo pressure on you to "have to visit WDW" because you are paying on this locker. If you decide not to go to Orlando, you are out of luck. I think with frugal packing, most things can be brought or bought thru a grocery delivery service. I don't want another payment on top of all of the other expenses. There is also rumor floating around that Disney is also contemplating offering this same type of service. It would be interesting to see what Disney would offer, and at what price.

I am wrestling with getting a second locker to divide out stuff between studio stays and 2 BR stays. I know we will be making multiple trips per year, using both villa arrangements.

Good idea I probably woud never have thought about it, but that would work for my family as well. I normally travel solo and stay in a studio, but in alternate years my kids & their families will be using the points for a 1 BR. Other times, we'll all travel together and need a 2BR. I haven't stocked my OL yet, but I'm looking forward to the day I only have to travel with clothes & makeup

I made the decision to sign up when I thought about what a hassle it was going to be to shop in Orlando without a car and all the stuff I've thrown away at the end of condo vacations over the years

I love the idea of owner's locker and wish I could justify it.
But, we only go once a year. It's just not that much work to take what we need (including ziplock baggies with laundry and dishwasher detergent from home); years of business travel made me a very efficient packer.

See I am sorta feeling this way too. We did go 3 times last year and this year after our Nov. trip will be 3 too.... but after this...it will be once a year. I mean you do have to keep up with the inventory in your locker and what need to be replenished and so forth too. Plus you are still packing it up at the resorts to be stored. I guess for a lot it makes so much sense but for us right now....I think we are still holding off.
