So cute from Brooklyn!
I love this ornament and I have to say that Santa Mickey is SO cute. $10 is a steal!
the totem pole is cute but what caught my attention is the pic of your kids in the background. My sitter has pics of her 4 kids from christmases as they grew up that she puts out every year. Her youngest is 18 now and they are so neat to look back at them growing up!
Yep, I thought that was a very good deal, and I hope they will enjoy many Christmases to come with our bunch!
I have that picture out all the time, actually. They were pretty sweet little kiddies, I think!
glad you liked the card.
and i love brooklynn's elf-sized shirt.
it's so nice that when you talk about going to opry mills and rivergate mall that i can imagine you there because i know those places! usually when people refer to things like that on here you have no idea in your head what they're talking about. anyway, just thought that was neat. and i'll probably be at those places at some point in the next week!
Opry Mills had valet parking going on over at the entrance by Bass Pro Shop, but we got good parking spots on our own, since we were there before it filled up. At Rivergate, I ended up parking back behind JCP at the movie parking lot!
I think that is very well said. I haven't watched this show but a handful of times. The main thing I didn't like is she always seems to talk down to her husband also. Now I can only imagine how much would be going on in a family of 10 people but.......
Also I place blame on the writers and producers b/c they are the ones that have the final say in what goes in there. And I'm sure they are picking the stuff that they think people want to see. I personally would like to see more of her lines that are loving(b/c I'm sure there are lots) not the 'drama' they think the public wants
Yes!! I forgot to say this too! I hope you had a WONDERFUL Birthday!!
Awwwww.....sweet!
YES!!!! I collect snowmen I think I might need one of these
HOW CUTE!!
I hope you all had a wonderful time!
I wish Ray could come too. I want him to meet Matt!
But hopefully you get to see ME!!!!!
That is adorable!!! I'm sure everyone standing around that carosuel LOVED seeing that. Too cute!
This is what my mom is making for our christmas eve dinner!!! How funny! YUM!!
No way I don't believe that
Can't wait to see what she got!
Yeah, I guess some of it is for show, but it's just not as appealing and interesting to me as it used to be. The kids are cute, and I do hope someone is working with Mady on her anger management. You've gotta feel a little sorry for kids in families with so many kids, as they likely do not get a lot of the one on one attention they need.
Enjoy your lasagna!
Today, we had Main Street Bakery for breakfast - cinnamon rolls, orange danish, banana bread, blueberry muffins, chocolate croissants, and fruit.
For lunch, we had breakfast food. I fixed eggs, sausage links, bacon, and biscuits. Brooklynn helped me fix a cake that we will have later on today.
If you collect snowmen, a Mickey one is a must!
i have to chime in on the jon & kate plus eight discussion. (sorry memom for going off topic.) i LOVE that show - i watch it every monday night. i agree that kate used to be very mean to jon, but she's gotten LOTS better. i think she probably saw herself on the show and saw how awful she was and is trying to change her ways. but i also like that they're real. i yell at ray sometimes and he does the same to me and i'm sure we sound awful. i kind of agree that they're getting a little big for their britches but it doesn't really bug me all that much. i'm sure the PR people at TLC contact the places they visit ahead of time and when someone calls them from some place they're going to and says, "what do you need us to do for you?", i'm sure i'd jump on that too if i had eight kids. but the best part about the show is the kids - i think they're so cute and funny and i want to steal either alexis or aiden!!!!!

the only kid i don't enjoy watching is mady - most of the time she acts horribly. i don't know what i'd do if my child acted the way she does!
okay...that was my two cents.
Eventually the show will play out, so I just hope they're wisely putting away some money to take care of all those kids. They've gotten used to a certain quality lifestyle now, and it would be sad to see it all plummet. The kids should have a good life, so we can hope they are taking care of wise financial planning.
Thanks MeMom, you never fail me.
Great sale at the
Disney Store. Our nearest one closed, so there isn't much new Disney merchandise for Christmas this year.
Glad you enjoyed it. You were more than welcome to come and join in. We had plenty.

Brooklynn opened this present for her baby sister.
You may have seen it in WDW, if you've shopped there lately. We thought it was cute.
Jill got this for me, because I've said bunches of times I was going to collect some of the Precious Moments things, but never have.
Saying I'm going to do something like that but never doing it is kind of common for me, so I really do love this!
Another WDW gift - a backpack that has all the Fantasyland rides and attractions on it.
Drew opens a present.
He got a CD/DVD tower, along with his new camera.
John got money for tools and candy.
Trent got oatmeal chocolate no bake cookies from Jill. He insists that she's the only one that makes them the way he likes them.
Brooklynn got a Snow White dress from Trent.
Jill's turn.
Brooklynn's beautiful outfit.
The cat watched from above, which is where he often stays when the dog comes to visit.
Since earrings are the only jewelry I wear, I like to have fun with them. I got these, and my kids at school will love seeing me add them to my collection of Disney earrings.
I do have normal 'grown-up' ones, too.
Brooklynn wanted a marshmallow Santa, but after one bite, she decided she didn't like it. Her mommy ate it.
Anyway, we did a variety of presents back and forth - nothing major, but we enjoyed the food, the company, and the thoughtfulness.
Mickey wishes you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays in the weeks ahead!
