Over excited - what do you do first?

Ok so I am a little over excited and am spending hours on the internet looking up things which I have already looked at 1000 times just because it is only 91 days until we go. We go a day ahead of friends and are spending the night in a hotel at Florida Mall then meeting up to move onto the villa.

My question is what would you all do first with regards to parks etc. I think we will get a 14 day SW/B/Aq then US & IOA seperate. Then the disney tix will be a 10 day with fun visits. We will shop the first day but was thinking perhaps SW first and then start the disney tix a couple of days in, our friends kids will be desperate for Minnie & Buzz by then so I guess it will be either Epcot or MK. Also I need to see WWOHP as soon as because as a big fan I just have all these visions of what it will be like. There are just so many decisions and even though you never stick to ideas once there I just love thinking about it and sharing thoughts.

I think you should go shopping on the first day - find out the price of the Uggs and do other research.

I was thinking either Universal or SW for the first day as we can then start the Disney tickets a few days in like we did last year, that way we can make sure that we have a Disney day on the last day.

Have you decided what Universal tix you are buying yet?

i am glad we are all the same and think about it a lot I like the hardcore straight to the parks! I must admit I am always desperate for a cuppa 1st

Gems - I was checking Nordstrom earlier for an idea - gr8 minds & all that haha I must say I am looking forward to hitting the shops early on this time

Florida tix have US/IOA for £83 so I might go with that as I know a friend has used them as well. Then the 342 on SW/B/Aq from online Florida which hopefully will still be £70 by the time we get paid You made decisions yet

We spend the first day shopping and to the supermarket; possibly to a theme park later in the day. In recent years, we have gone to the Premium Outlets and then to the Publix over the road, plus a nice meal at Outback. We get everything we'll need for our stay and then we can relax for the rest of the week. By the evening we are shattered because of jetlag so we always wind up going to bed at about 10pm after a meal out somewhere and a few drinks by the pool. After that, since we only do Universal Studios, we will be at the parks for opening every day for the remainder of our stay. We always start at Universal rather than IoA - the original and still the best

We always hit MK on our first full day - but last year we broke that tradition - we did AK and Tusker House breakfast!

Next time we are hitting Epcot first as it is the last day of Flower and Garden but September I would guess we will be back to MK.

I actually enjoyed doing AK first as we did what we wanted to do and that was the park done - we always struggle with AK for some reason

I just love all the planning and look at everything 1000 times as well!
For me though it has to MK on our first day no matter where we are staying, I just wouldn't feel "right" going anywhere else!

I agree, MK first night once everything is dumped at the villa.

I think it gets the kids into the right time zone quicker as well if they stay up late first night for fireworks.

Although when we go this year MK is open until 11pm first night which might be too much!

We always hit Epcot on our first full day

Our plans are always to have a relaxing breakfast and then head over to World Showcase for the 11am opening as it's such a relaxing way to start your holiday

The reality is that I am usually so excitied we end up at Epcot for rope drop

This year we'll be getting to our hotel (Animal Kingdom Lodge) early evening.

So we're going to keep ourselves awake by heading to Downtown Disney.

First day can be nothing other than seeing the Castle for me!!!! We're going to hit MK for rope drop, stay till about midday and then do a little tour of our wedding locations before heading back to AKL to chill by the pool and soak up some sunshine.
