Yea, I know that is what is supposed to say... what I don't understand is why "beans". I watched to many StarTrec episodes and like Mr. Spock I need logic in my life.

I never even heard the expression "cool beans" until the early 2000's. I had no idea what it meant, and in many ways still don't.

I think it's just more fun to say cool beans rather than just cool. Some people say crazy bus instead of just crazy or they say bad news bears when something goes wrong.
