DBF and I were on the DDP, and it was SUCH A GOOD DECISION!!!! We probably doubled our value on it!!!! We just got back Saturday, so it's a fairly recent review. I'll try to remember everything we both got, but since he's asleep, I'll probably get his partially right and mine totally right. We'll do counter service in this thread:
Pecos Bill's (MK) - it was kind of bleh, which is interesting since everyone seems to rave about it. I had the salad, he had the double bacon cheeseburger. I got to get a side of chili with my salad, which was actually quite good, as was my pre-packaged no sugar added applesauce (which I chose instead of their ONLY dessert, the chocolate peanut butter brownie, which DBF said was OK)
Tangerine Cafe (Epcot) - WOW! SOOOOO glad we sprung for moroccan food! First of all, it was a wonderful international experience, as we got to talk to a few employees, and had never before eaten Moroccan food. We both got the Chicken Schawarma (sp?) which comes with a tzaziki sauce, couscous, and a parsley salad. our dessert was baklava. YUMMY! I am a fairly picky eater, but I found this delicious!
Toy Story Pizza Planet (MGM) - considering I was recovering from a bad hangover (oops - thank the long islands at Jellyrolls...) my view on this is a bit cloudy. THe pizza was OK, the side salads were small... I liked that the snacks (rice krispy Mickey, choc chip cookie) were portable. Nothing more to say other than I'll be trying somewhere else my next trip.
Flame Tree Barbecue (AK) - quite good, a LOT of food. If you're not on the DDP, you can share this, unless you have a HUGE appetite. I don't remember much more about this particular meal, but I know that I enjoyed it.
Typhoon Lilly's (Typhoon Lagoon) - I had the chicken tenders, DBF had the barbecue pork sandwich. We were both pleased. The portion sizes were good, and they give you little dessert tokens so that you can get your ice cream treat at any stand throughout the park at any time after your meal, which was GREAT!
Lottawatta Lodge (Blizzard Beach) - we paid OOP for this, as we craved a pizza. it was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this place for pizza - it really hits the spot!
Cosmic Ray's (MK) - I had the 1/2 BBQ chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots, all of which were fantastic! DBF had yet another BBQ pork sandwich (which he said was better than Typhoon Lilly's) and I'm not sure what his side was. We both had the chocolate cake dessert. We'd go back here.
Casey's (MK) - OOP again (last day, out of credits). We were one of the first customers in teh door and the poor CM (we think he was new) accidentally spilled the tray EVERYWHERE trying to hand it to us. We think that they never charged this meal to our card, but we're waiting to see the bank statement. Anyway, the hot dogs were huge and good. That's about all.
So, those were our CS experiences. Soon I will post what will likely be a more detailed log of our Table Service Meals. Hope this is helpful!!!!
