Woohoo, I love Double Digit Dance Parties!!!

I can hardly believe you're into double digits....it's just the best isn't it? By this point, I start to go through all my lists and figure out what I still need to buy, make mani and pedi appts for the day before we leave, hair appts for both of us depending on what we need done, and a list of chores that I have to look after in the house before leaving! It's my favorite part....making lists and stroking things off!

Yay on joining in on the dance!!!

I can't believe it either - it felt like it was never going to happen! I'm sure time will fly by now and our trip will be here before we know it - I hope so anyway! I'm going to make a couple of more shopping trips in the next 99 days - need to get shirts to try and customise as well as toiletries/first aid things. I also need to book all my appts for before I leave - best get going with the lists!

I have sort of decided on what to take but not what I will be wearing each day - I did do it right at the start of our trip, however our plans have changed since then! I will do this again as it will help me decide what accessories etc I need to buy/take with me.

Congrats on the double digits! Around that time I think I started making packing lists and shopping for things we still needed. I like to do most of my shopping online so doing it a little early insured that we wouldn't have to pay extra for expedited shipping or make last minute trips to the mall. Also made sure we had arranged a sitter for the cat and practical things like that.

I sure hope so! It seems like I have been planning for this trip forever and am ready for it to arrive! I can't wait to start our countdown calendar. Thanks! Already done the packing lists and what I still need to buy - am hoping to make a couple of trips to our shopping malls. Doing it online makes sense - I tend not to do that just because I like to see what I am buying in person! Wierd I know

I have no cats so do not need to worry about that side of things!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all enjoying your week so far! We have had miserable weather in Manchester today – lightening, thunder and rain!

Anyway I watched a movie yesterday that cheered me up a bit. This movie has a special place in my heart as it is one of the first memories I have of watching a Disney movie. We spent the night at my Aunts and I got to watch it all where as my brother had to go to bed before the end – he was not too pleased about this!!

I watched Bambi!

I love, love, love this movie. Thumper is great and his one liners that his dad told him remind me of the advice we were given as kids – ‘Eat your greens – they make you strong!’ and ‘If you don’t have anything good to say don’t say anything at all!’

I remember as a kid being upset when Bambi’s mother died so was expecting to get emotional. However, although I was a bit sad I did not shed any tears – I am so proud!!

How do you all feel about this one? Look forward to finding out

LOVE, LOVE Bambi. It reminds me my older DD, when she was young about 3. She was watching Bambi for the first time. When Bambi & Thumper were playing on the ice, she laughed so hard, just the deep belly baby giggles. And when Bambi's mom died, Sam cried so hard. It's such a strong memory in my mind.

I love Bambi! Thumper is one of my favorite Disney characters! I can't watch Bambi too much though, like I can watch other Disney movies, because it really is too sad. It's such a sweet movie, though!
