They have Krispy Kremes at TH???? Oh man they are so good!

I have never seen DeVine yet... gotta look for her this year

We loved the Tusker House! Everything was very good. The juice was excellent,my glass was refilled many times :thumbsup2

We took our time and really wanderered around the conservation station. Lots to learn. We saw them performing surgery on a birds wing, and checked out how& what they feed all the animals.

Sorry I haven't been around in a while but it looks like your plans are coming along nicely. I like the look of your 2nd AK day. I didn't know that Tusker house had Krispy Kremes, if I had known that I might have planned to go there :goodvibes.

I can't wait to see all of the shows at AK especially Finding Nemo it looks so good. I think it will be a good idea to head to one of the water parks in the hotter part of the day. I have also heard how hot it gets in AK, so I hope that we will be ok, but being from Australia I think I have a higher tolerance for heat so we should be fine as long as we take it easy.

Hey no probs - am glad to see you back on the boards :thumbsup2 Thanks, I just want it to be September, lol!! Apart from the characters hearing about the juice and Krispy Kremes is what made me want to book Tusker House ;)

I have seen soo many great pics of the shows that am looking forward to seeing Lion King and Finding Nemo. That's what I was thinking - we can handle the heat when we are not doing anything but am not sure how we will handle all the walking in it. Am sure you guys will be fine as a result of all the sunny days you get in Australia :)

Your Animal Kingdom plans sound great! I've heard such wonderful things about the two shows here, so I can't wait to see them :goodvibes You've also managed to make me more excited about Tusker House. Yum! Spending the evening relaxing at POP sounds like a great idea...especially if the weather at AK is hot that day.

Thanks Britt! :thumbsup2 I've heard the same so hopefully they will live up to our expectations! I'm looking forward to eating at Tusker House - hopefully we will both have a great experience! :goodvibes

I thought relaxing at Pop or jumping into the pool would be a nice way to recover from all the heat at AK!

I know, how good are they?!! I can't wait to have some for breakfast - have never done that before!!!

Def look out for Devine - having seen her on other TRs she sure knows how to blend in! :lmao:

I hope we love it just as much! Am looking forward to drinking that famous juice! :thumbsup2

We'll have to remember to do the same and not rush through the experience. Am very squeamish so am not sure if I'd be able to watch any surgery being performed! :lmao: However, am looking forward to hearing all about the animals.

Did you have to wait long for the Wildlife Express to take you out there?

So is that a special juice blend? Looks like it has mango in it.... yum!:thumbsup2

And I may have to swing by there on our AK day for Krispy Kremes... they are SO GOOD! There used to be a shop near our office which would make them fresh. When the light was on, they were nice and hot! I miss those :(

I love your shopping choices! Those shirts are all adorable! :thumbsup2 The one with Marie is my favorite!

Your AK plans look awesome! John and I always have so much fun at AK. I remember once we happened upon DeVine without realizing what she was and I almost fainted! She surprised the heck outta me!

Mmm..that juice is sooo good! I had it when we ate at Tusker House and loved it! The original Krispy Kreme headquarters is about twenty minutes from my house, so we eat Krispy Kreme waaaaay more than we should! My dad literally owns stock in the company, I'm not even kidding! :lmao:

Yes, apparently it includes pineapple, mango, orange and lemonade! It does look yummy!

I think Krispy Kremes are the BEST, lol!! Have not had any for ages - prob because once I buy them can not stop myself at just one! :lmao: The fresh ones are the best - think you would have to make a reservation to have them at Tusker House :)

Thank you! :thumbsup2 I do love the shirts - they arrived today and all fit, lol!! I've not ordered via Uniqlo before so was a bit worried I would have to send them back but luckily do not have to. I loved the Marie one as well.

Thanks - I hope we have the same amount of fun at AK. I'm glad I know that DeVine exists and what she looks like as otherwise would probably have a similar reaction and quite a scare on seeing her! :lmao:

Am looking forward to the juice...it sure looks yummy! Krispy Kreme doghnuts sure are the best - am glad ours is not so near as would probably live off them and end up looking like one, lol!! Ooh owning stocks in Krispy Kremes - sounds like a good idea! :rotfl:

The train was there when we got there, but on the return we waited about 10 mins or so.

Thanks, am glad to hear that. I've read to allow 10-20 mins both ways, however as it will be our second day in the park am sure we won't mind taking it easy :)

Hope you are all having a good week, so far. Have just seen our ticker and 5 months from today will be our first day of the trip!!!  I sooo can't wait!! :rotfl:

Anyway, have been thinking of what I can do for the next five months on this PTR to make the time go faster! I will be posting pics of our planning journal/folder nearer the time as well as the rest of our itinerary but thought I would add something else into the mix!

Let me know your thoughts on the idea. I don't think I'll be able to post movie nights as apart from me no one in our household wants to watch them! So I thought I would get your opinions on the different Disney movies and how you would sum them up in one/two words - more can be used if you think this is necessary!

So, thought I would start with one of my all time favourites - Beauty and the Beast! What word(s) would you use to describe this movie?

A tale as old as time :thumbsup2

I like the idea of movie nights popcorn:: luckily Adam is pretty tolerant of Disney movies so he will watch with me. I am starting to watch them more often to get in the Disney spirit. On the weekend I had Sleeping Beauty on before Adam got up in the morning. It is such a nice sweet movie, though I wished that there was a little more character development and that our heroine did more than wait around for a guy to rescue her. I guess that is why I like Beauty and the Beast so much, Belle is a really good role model and is proactive in her own life.

I should post pictures of my planning journal as well, but it is mostly just computer printouts and it doesn't look too exciting.

I will keep watching to see what you post.

Classic, Fun, Magical. :lovestruc

Beauty and the Beast is actually the next movie on our movie nights list! :thumbsup2

Beauty & The Beast jsut maskes me think I have to go to WDW again after all the construction to see everything!:thumbsup2

I am enjoying reading about your plans!
Two weeks sounds great!

I love Crystal Palace! (for any meal)

We also loved Pop when we stayed there.

Sorry to hear about all your airfare stress - it sounds terrible, but I am glad its all sorted out.

Very cute shirts!

Your plans for the 24th look great. Love AK such a beautiful park :)

Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney Classic.

To sum it up in words I would say:

Classic, Romantic, Beautiful, Timeless :)

It sure is that! :thumbsup2

You are lucky and that is another thing we do not have in common!! :rotfl: I think I need to start watching some as well, even if it is on my lonesome. I'm hoping posting the movies on here will get me started ;)

Yep agree with you in that Sleeping Beauty is all about the heroine waiting for her Prince to arrive. I do like Belle - I think her and Cinderella are my fav princesses.

I look forward to seeing pics of your journal. I'm the same - have not really got going with mine - just have stuff saved on the computer and a notepad full of all my scribbles! It's Easter hols here next week so will be going into town and I think my main accomplishment will be to get stationary purchases to help me start a proper folder/journal.

Like your description :thumbsup2

That is soo cool - enjoy watching it! I think I am going to watch it myself over the weekend - if you didn't live so far would ask if I could come and watch it with you guys, lol! :rotfl:

True Love!!!

Aww, it sure is that! If only such love existed in the real world!! :rotfl2:

Beauty & The Beast jsut maskes me think I have to go to WDW again after all the construction to see everything!:thumbsup2

Aah, I never thought of it like that! That is soo true - now I want to see WDW again after the construction as well, lol! :rotfl:

Classic and Romantic

My DBF won't watch Disney movies with me either:sad2:

Yes, that's the reason I think it is one of my favourites! :thumbsup2

Am glad I'm not alone - it sure is not good :sad1: Are you watching Disney movies on your own or with anyone else?

beauty within

No ones mentioned that one so far - it sure does have that element to it as well :thumbsup2 It's great seeing the different opinions you all have on the same movie :)

:welcome: Kathleen! Thank you for reading our plans - am glad you are enjoying them :thumbsup2

I am really looking forward to our breakfast at Crystal Palace as well as our stay at Pop! Have heard nothing but great things about that place :cool1:

I am glad that the airfares are sorted - it was a very stressful time but am glad we can put it behind us.

Thanks! I love them as well :)

Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney Classic.

Thanks :) Although I haven't actually seen it yet I think I love the picturesque scenes of AK - it sure looks great! :thumbsup2

It is my favourite as well which is the reason it was first on my list.

Lovely way to sum it up :)

LOL, my DH isn't a big fan of Disney movie nights either! He will watch Disney movies, but if I make a big deal out of it before our trips, he doesn't want to participate!

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast, one of my favorite movies ever, and Belle is my favorite princess! :goodvibes I love her because not only is she the most beautiful princess (in my opinion!) but...she reads! I've always had my nose in a book, for as long as I can remember, and I love that we have that in common! And the songs in this movie are so amazing! I really should buy the new DVD that came out months ago, before it goes back in the vault!

Yes, that's the reason I think it is one of my favourites! :thumbsup2

Am glad I'm not alone - it sure is not good :sad1: Are you watching Disney movies on your own or with anyone else?

If i have time and feel like watching a movie I might put one on in the background while I'm doing something. But luckily I have 4 and 6 year old nephews that I can watch them with when I see them  :thumbsup2
