hhhhmm? should i go to HD myself or ask my nephew's gf who LIVES NEXT DOOR to hd to swipe me some? hhhhmm hhhmm nah, she won't do it. Gotta buckle down and do it myself. See dh prefers Lowes....so it isn't so easy to get to HD but for us girls... this weekend would be the perfect time to go..... father's day..... great cover up....you know... if anyone asks.... we're there looking for father day gifts .... and it just so happens, he likes LGMH. For all the HD assc. know DH or Dad might just want to wall paper his room with them ...... maybe .....I mean really, are they going to follow you home to find out? I don't think so. And to think at one point my brother worked there. man! if only i knew then what i know now.

Thought about this last night when I couldn't sleep (pitiful, but 1 more sleep till I return to the motherland)...

The whole Mickey Head thing is like most green things they tend grow on you (think grass or fungus).

Of course, I am altered...slipping into the DIS mode.

Off to find where I stuffed my Disney Dollars. When I return, depressed beyond belief, I look forward to getting a chuckle from you merry band of Mickey Heads.

Remember the lime green bucket hat I picked up in the Target dollar section awhile back? Well, I had a "DIS moment" last night after seeing that old LGMH thread I posted yesterday. So, I got out a sheet of the old iron-on transfer paper I used to make my son's "I'm the Big Brother" shirt when his sister was born almost 7 years ago (that's some old transfer paper...but it still worked!) and I already had the Waltograph font on my computer from making my daughter's birthday card for August, so doing this took all of about 10 minutes.

Ok everyone: 2hours till I'm headed to hd. Wish me luck. Funny thing is I really do need to go and look at paint chips. So I'm going to have to resist swiping the lgmh first because I need some other colors and I don't think it would be advised to walk around the store with all of them mickeys.

Hehe. Actually, my DH stopped being horrified by me years ago (we're celebrating our 19th anniversary on Tuesday, btw). No, this look was one of those deadpan, half-closed eyes, "You have got to be kidding me" looks. Nothing surprises him anymore.

hockeymom, I recommend back pants pockets or an unzipped purse for stowing LGMPC. My best strategy is just to pick up a handful and walk around with them for awhile in your palm, like it ain't no thang. THEN just kind of slip them away quietly as you head into the wallpaper section or something.

But nevertheless. I feel it. My question is this. say, I put said Mickey ears on my door. Do, people come, and knock, and introduce themselves? Does anyone know? If so, I would not put it on the door, but instead maybe attach it to my bag in the park. TIA. For answers.

Ya know, I don't know about anyone else, but I personally would NOT knock on a door with a LGMH on it - I just wouldn't want to disturb anyone's privacy and I'd also be afraid I'd get invited in and have to annoy my family by visiting with people they don't know. I might leave a sticky note on the door, though, or sign if they have something stuck up for that purpose! It'd be fun to SEE a LGMH on a door, though, just to know that I'm in DIS territory. I guess even though I plan to put a mickey on my door, too, that I would hope for the same respect of privacy. 'Course, we will be at OKW where no one will even see our LGMH, so there you go. Heh. That said, I would really hope anyone seeing my LGMH at the parks or restaurants would take a sec to say hi. That, I would love.

I could just see the looks on my boys face if I said "Cmon lets go look around the resort for lgmh today forget going on rides or swimming." They would think I was nuts.

We don't plan on seeing any on doors unless there is a fellow diser in our neighborhood (unlikely).

Hope I see some around the parks though.
