Ok folks I hate to ask to be put on the prayer list but here is my sad story:

Dad had a cancerous lump removed February 2005 from his neck. He was diagnosed with "non treatable" lymphomia. HIs case was even sent to Japan for suggestions on how to help him. Seemed the kind of lump required very agressive chemo and since we need our lymph nodes that is just out of the questions.

fast forward about 6 months and they are CERTAIN they had removed it all and her justs needed to be monitored. Feb 23rd this year he noticed another lump, had it removed and yup the cancer is back.

The man drives me batty and makes me wonder where i actually came from BUT he is still my dad and Ben loves that man to pices. Em just kinda tolerates him.

Hoping for the best.

Well, I'll be in and out today. Since youth hockey is done I actually can do other things. So, great plans do I have? Um, cleaning the garage and attic. Oooooooh so much excitement. After that I'm gonna do laundry and clean up the back yard/patio.

Somewhere in between all that I'm gonna throw in some dissing, watching the Dallas Stars, and later watching the Cubbies.

Right now I'm wasting my time wathing A Haunting on Discovery Channel. Very creepy stuff

Too Late!! Basketball was actually good yesterday we won 29 to 28... It was real good. Its begining basketball so normally it boring but it was both the first and second (us)place teams. Since we beat them we tied for first...

Hey all you limey's. When I went down and gave blood this morning, they gave me a LIME GREEN flex bandage around my arm They also gave me this kewl ball cap with "United Blood Services" on the front, and on the back it's got an american flag and the words "we need more heroes". its pretty kewl looking.

That is cool... I wish I could donate but i'm aniemic(sp?). no matter what i take or do i always am..

Did I mention that my daughter Julia got hired as a character and dancer at our local amusement park, Great America? I am so proud of and excited for her! Here's the link to the park, if you're curious. http://www3.cedarfair.com/greatamerica/index.cfm

.....where ARE those missing limeys??!!!!! (I love the getting a life line, PD!!!) My excuse has more to do with being a NON-pregnant bear...I fell asleep quite early again last night! I think my getting back to the gym is wiping me out----so pitiful!

Yesterday, I took the cubs swimming - they loved it, but dang, its a cold pool!!
Today, they played in the kid center while I elipticled (is that a word???) It was hilarious when I went to get them they had there faces smushed against the glass door, staring out. They were even closed in a seperate room.. at first I was mad, but turns out they asked to go in - they were "bored" in the "baby" room. (They are renovating the real big kid room....) I felt guilty until they said they had just looked out when I walked up - whew!

I'm off to fix some porridge and let the cubs play some hoops. I WILL be here tonight - hopefully not alone... ...or maybe Rod Serling will show up!!!
