Hi everyone. I have been super busy lately. I am at work again for a half day today :cool1: (more money for trip  ) then I will work again on Monday and Tuesday. With my dad helping a little I will be able to get Dh the camera he wants next week :woohoo: . Tonight I am having dinner with my sis so that we can exchange cd's of the pictures we took at WDW. I can't wait to see all the ones she took. Plus I will be able to add some to my TR which I plan to update this weekend. Oh and there are only 15 days till DH and I leave for our trip :woohoo: :cool1:  We are going to drive to Orlando a day early and stay at a motel just down the road that night so that we can check in at the resort early the next day and spend all day of our actual Disney vacation at Downtown Disney.

Sounds great! :thumbsup2 WOW-- 2 weeks to go--you're such a LUCKY DUCKY! :cool1: :woohoo: :yay:

Hey my birthday is the 23rd which is on Thanksgiving this year!!

YES I noticed that when I was creating a WORD chart to keep everyone's real names straight --- ME TOO, ME TOO :bday:

Peek! Hi, limeys. Too busy to play on the boards lately, but I've been thinkin' about you all. Hope all is well and that plans for the VA meet are going well. I also hope everyone is well and happy.

Love,

Cyn

Yuppers ours is the 2nd Monday in October cause well it is tied to harvest right? If we wait till the end of November -- gross yuggy moldy stuff on the ground :crazy2:

In our family of 4 yes I am only one -- but if others weren't hanging over me I can tell other things. Dad is also Bi-Polar but refuses to get real treatment. Mom I'm sure is (based on her behaviour but don't suggest it to her).

Me, I am the worst of the bunch BUT the best cause I admit it and INSIST on getting treatment. Which is why I am not doing well right now. still no dr and it has been since early August. (I was seeing her every 2 weeks)

:grouphug: Atleast you're making the effort!

I love going to the mall (but only if I am by myself or with Cody). But if I have to go with both boys I'd rather have a bikini wax it's that miserable.

WOW, I can relate though! :rotfl: I actually don't do malls, I prefer outlets!

:rotfl: :rotfl: Yea..........I was kind of hoping you wouldnt notice that I didnt put one on the list yet! :rotfl2: I wanted to do some more exploring - reading. One thats VERY good and about 3 miles away is called "Milepost 5" - its just, kind of...I dont know...stuffy. So, theres one mcuh closer, but I havent been - so I thought maybe I could walk in and check it out. Hmmm..... I wish I got out more!! :rotfl: !!

Let me tell you now, don't worry yourself about suggesting a place to eat because then you'll probably be all stressed wondering if we'll like it or not. Just throw the names of some places around--maybe we've heard of them. Course if you do have opinions we'll take them too! :goodvibes

:wave2: Hi everyone who is still up. I pulled the stupid one of falling asleep at about 8.

Ben is home and the 3 of them drove me outta here into the living room to cower. It was just too noisy. Too much laughing. How do you tell your family to stop enjoying themselves? :confused3

Wanna know bout the rest of this family now?
Ben was in therapy when he was in grade 1 and on anti-depressants for about a year till his ADD was under some control.
DD missed 50 days in grade 7 --- we never knew why until I got a call from High school. Seems she suffered "terribly" when she was young. I hope peeps know what I mean. Her friends forced her to go to school counsellor when they found out she was self-harming. <sigh> let me tell you about pain, to watch your child suffer without knowing why is awful. :sad1:

Well on that happy note. I sure hope you find a restaurant that has some sorta "private" area. Most of ours here -- even the chain type have an area that is separate from main room to protect the rest of folks :rotfl2:

I like outlets too. None real close to me though.

I was such a good girl, I noticed soooo many on the way to FL, but I didn't stop at any, I gave all my money to WDW like I was supposed to ! :rotfl2: There are a couple of good ones on the way to Richmond though.

Dweatl love the guys read web site. Cody and I sat down and made a list of books. He has quite a bit of money on a b+n card to spend.

He's going to buy some of the hockey series books like screech owls. Have you ever read any of those?

I haven't. I've read some of the Dan Gutman sports books. Million Dollar Goal is the hockey one (which I haven't read) but his baseball and basketball ones were good, so maybe the hockey one is too. They're funny and exciting.
I haven't heard of screech owls, but there's just so much around it's hard to follow it all.

 Talked to the insurance company today. Tey're sending a check for $2500. Repairs estimated at $8000, and the mechanic says the car's not safe without them. So, dump the car and carpool, or start looking for another car, even though we just put $3000 into the junker (got it out of the shop the day before the accident). I'd cry more, but DH and I passed a fatal accident when we were carpooling yesterday, 1 block from where DD was hit. It put things in perspective.
I hate to spend Disney money on a car, but carpooling every day puts a little strain on our lovey-dovey marriage. I'm always holding him up in the morning (I'm low maintenance, but I have the hardest time getting out of bed in the morning), and he likes to bring his work home in the evening, while I like to stay and get things done.
We're gonna watch Ugly Betty now. No kids in the house, and we have just enough energy to :happytv: .

:grouphug: Sorry, that timing really sucks! I know what you mean about the repairs on a dead car. The car before dh's newest car died just after we had gotten work on it. Wasn't worth it to put more in, but we had just had $1200 worth of work done. We ended up giving the engine to dh's uncle. It was either that or junk it. I felt better knowing all that money hadn't gone to waste. That is until dh's cousin killed the uncles car! :confused3

I am so sorry about your car. I don't blame you about the carpool thing. I had my van in the shop for a week and I almost died. I ended up walking everywhere and some things weren't very close. Glad I didn't have a job! pixiedust: heading your way you definately need it.

Sorry about the car :grouphug: But I worked with Dh for 3 months.....note how I said worked. We drove each other crazy, the ride to work, the ride home, if one of us wasn't on time. I understand your dilemma.
