Ok guys.... I just posted this in a different thread....my DD's b-day is coming up, we are looking for cheap things to do. My cousin suggested face painting.
(thank goodness she also said she would do it!)
But I was wondering if any of you knew where to find face paint at a reasonable price.....I tried online....but shipping is crazy!(over$10 at most places)

Try Target for Halloween face paint. Lizzy says it's on sale this week!

I know I know a very late reply. I am still here....sometimes. LOL. And you are right it isn't as magical WHEN YOU ARE WORKING but when you are not working it is just as magical. I chose to work at World of Disney in DTD so I didn't have to go into the parks so much....but I still do. I don't come on very much anymore cuz I am always in one of the parks and when I am not in a park I am very tired :happytv: . When I do work it is work, but it is fun work, I get to make the pixie dust! Its great to see the look in a childs eyes when you have just created that magical moment for them. :wizard: And even the adults when they walk into the store and see its massive size, the look around in awe. :bounce: Just before they start cursing about being lost :furious: LOL. I do love it down here and so does my family. :rotfl: :cool1:  :cheer2:

LOL so happy to hear from you! Glad everything is going well for ya! You need to change your location to the mutherland. You don't live in il anymore you are at the warm place not the snow place! :rotfl2:

Love the car. Is it a hyndai? What kind of gas mileage? Doesn't look like it will fit 3 hockey bags though.
Yes, it's a Hyundai. Mileage 24 in the city, 32 highway. It has three seats in the back, and the trunk was big enough for my mom's extra wide wheelchair. I don't know about hockey bags.

I hope you don't mind... I snuck into your garage during the night and borrowed your new car to give it a kewlio paint job.

Thanks! I love it. DH is gonna be surprised.

Nice car! Congratulations. No carpooling with your DH deserves a little :woohoo: I'm sure that was stressful. Good Luck with your car!!

Thanks. We're planning on carpooling 2-3 days a week in MY car, which is OK with me. I'm crazy about DH. It's just his :hyper: morning attitude when I'm decaffeinated that makes it hard to do everyday.

:bday: Lizzy. I squeaked in under the wire for East Coast time. Just one more year and you'll be able to :car: .
I hope 15 is a great year for you!

Well home from our crazy Sunday.

Cody had his first scrimmage today. He played pretty well and definately is the main defensemen. Unfortunately as we had thought we didn't have a goalie. We had hoped that the other team had an extra but they didn't so we drew numbers and threw one of the kids in the net no pads no goalie stick. So the outcome of the not kept score score wasn't what we would have liked but we probably only lost 9-0 or something like that. The good news was we had lots of shots on net and there was play on both sides of the ice which is a huge improvement from last year. These kids look to be better team players than the mix we had last year. It is amazing what one puck hog will do to a team. Then the boys went to a really cool birthday party at a rock gym that just opened here but it is not the typical rock gym. It had lots of ropes coarses and zip lines and lots of cool 8 y/o boy stuff. Probably won't be able to stay in business long but it was fun.

Hey mary how is the painting coming today. I lost steam on my project. So my house will be in a state of disrepair for a bit. That is the only way I'll get my husband to get painting. I got everything all ready and moved in the kitchen but it is all over the dining room. So hopefully after halloween we'll get painting.

Well got to go get the kiddos tucked in.

I'm not your average fella Hugh. :teeth:
Well as if that isn't the truth. You didn't need to advertise that you are not an average fella. We all know that

I guess everyone's gone to bed, but I have big news: I got a new car! It's an Elantra, sort of an electric blue.

. They didn't have any in lime green, so they knocked $1000 off the sticker price. After all the trouble with the old car being totalled and carpooling with DH, I got something nice. The salesman cracked me up-he sounded like Robert on Everybody Loves Raymond.

Cool! :thumbsup2 Bummer no lime green, but hey they did lower the price some! ;)

That's what I tell everybody. I don't mind being the youngest kid in my "group", it's when someone else askes me how old I am, and I say 14 (now officially 15), and the yell out "you're only 14!!! Guys check it out LizzY's only 14!" I simply reply with somthing along the lines of, "Enjoy turning 40."

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: Sorry I missed your birthday, hope you had a great day! Dh's niece Assian (pr Asian) turned 15 today too.

We have the Junior Senior game too. Last year they added a Sophmore Freshmen Basket ball game.

They used to do some cool things. I remember they would have the students play the teachers in either basketball or soccer. Also they'd invite the local professional soccer team--Baltimore Blast to play the students, or even the local news. It was fun.
