Ok guys.... I just posted this in a different thread....my DD's b-day is coming up, we are looking for cheap things to do. My cousin suggested face painting.
(thank goodness she also said she would do it!)
But I was wondering if any of you knew where to find face paint at a reasonable price.....I tried online....but shipping is crazy!(over$10 at most places)

Try your local dollar store. This is the best time of year! Halloween brings out lots of stock that during the rest of the year is almost impossible to locate

I thought about that....but my DD is allergic to a lot...most of the $1 stuff is of lesser quality....I am just afraid to try There is a halloween store by me... maybe I will try there.

Been there done that! I hate it when on the tv you hear the words "new & improved" Or worse you have found a great product and when you get to the store and there is a sign under it saying "discontinued"

Try those party stores --- where you can buy b-day party stuff etc. That is where we buy paint in july. The kind we use comes like a crayon. Works great & had stencils/ideas as well

A lot of the face painting stuff I have seen in the party supply stuff is hypoallergenic which will decrease your DD's chance of having a reaction to it.

Not sure when the party is, but if you can wait until the day after Halloween everything Halloween related is on sale sometime over 50% off.

Thanks guys....I don't know why I didn't think of the party store...we were just there yestersay

BTW-her party is the nov 12th( I had to compromise when I told her we weren't able to go to VA for her bday.... I have never done a kids party before!)
