You know, it's the WEIRDEST thing! It seems like some posts aren't coming up for me until later. Like, for instance, I never even saw the post from TaraLee about her laptop or the post from kaw about going to DL next year for her anniversary, but I saw them just now. I kept wondering where Lizzy and others were getting that it was TaraLee's b-day!! What is going on? It's like the lime green version of the Burmuda triangle!

I just got home from work, and now have to finish packing. I love this last minute stuff. I always think I'm forgetting something. We're going to leave in about 2 1/2 hours for our drive to CBR. Should be there by noon tomorrow.

Any last minute tips/suggestions?

The DH has taken notice of hints regarding the "Secret Lime Green Club" in different posts and then found this thread----long story short, we went to HD today, and got a wad of the LGMHPC Cards and are discussing various was to display them, along with new and creative posts that will get us up to "member" status!!! Our next trip is 12/03-12/08---I'm thinking lime green t-shirts with our DisBoard name on it!

We have a lot of posts to go before we can claim "member status" but we will start working on it ASAP!

Welcome back.....BUT HOW IS YOUR DH????????????

He is ok now, thanks for asking DISUNC. He actually had a minor heart attack on Monday, but we didn't realize it until Tuesday (we thought it was gas). They diagnosed him at our local ER, then HELICOPTORED him up to Sarasota Tuesday night. Turns out he has inflammation in the pericardium (?) and that is what they think caused the attack, since the tests they ran found no blockages. They have him on meds to take care of the inflammation, he has to change his diet and exercise more, but all in all should be fine. It has been a very challenging week though, to say the least.

First trip...18! Hope I got the exact color, since there were various shades of lime green and I was nervous about doing the filching! The DH was NO HELP AT ALL---since he was there for "weed eater string!" Stinker, if not for him, I wouldn't be trying so hard to be a vested member of this club! Let's me know that on the next trip for more.......we'll we're sending the DD! HA!

Wonder how LGMHPC earrings would look???????

I'm sure someone has passed this information on by now, but just in case. The color is Alien Green and Sonic Boom is the backup choice. Also us Limeys prefer the term swipin'! Excellent choice in training your dd, its never too early to start training for the Limey Olympics!!!! (don't know if there is such a thing, but ya never know! )

Well I am in line for one in the Mental Health Clinic BUT since there are only TWO for the entire city (over 100,000 peeps) it will more than likely be a very long wait
She passed on my med file to family doc hoping he would be able to stay on top of it till new doc was available. Wanna know his answer? Big fat NO This is the man who has been taking care of us for about 20 years now, delivered both babies and cared for them thru out childhood.

So long and short of it ... I have no one to even call when a crisis arises.

Oh my gosh!! That's terrible! I'm so glad he's ok! It sounds like the prognosis is good, but you must have been scared to death. I hope you're both spending some time relaxing and taking care of yourselves.

Hey everyone, I'm finally back on the boards! My work internet connection has been having "issues" since the end of July, then my DH ended up in the hospital, so I'm hopelessly behind and there is no way that I can catch up! Can someone please give me the Cliff's notes version of what has been going on? Last I was here, DISUNC had just returned from his trip to the mutherland and Cynderella had just arrived there. Thanks!!!

Oh yeah! Just made my ressies for our Christmas trip! December 16 to 19 at Wilderness Lodge!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!
