Hi, everyone!!!
I had to go into lurking this week...school is keeping me waaaaay busy!!!!
I always forget how exhausted I am the first few weeks of school!! I teach Kindergarten, so since many of them have never been in a school setting before, I spend my day feeling like I'm either herding wild buffalo or teaching pigs to dance. It has not helped that the A/C is not working in my classroom, either!!

However, you all are the highlight of my day! I come home, speed read, and . Forget retail therapy...Lime Green Therapy!!

I was talking to a friend of mine at work about the LGMHPCs and ask if he made it to HD would he pick up a couple for me.
Well, he did! He showed up at work with 30 LGMH for me
But, I am really disapointed that I don't get to liberate them my self!
Any way, we will be there next weekend! Just look for the family with LGMHs plastered on the rental stroller (how that for telling it apart from the hundred others ), the backpack, etc.
My other disapointment; I couldn't get my DW to buy the LG Tink t-shirt we saw in WALMART today!

to the We'll just look for the rental stroller with the bouncing and around it! Happy swipin' How did it go explaining to your friend what you wanted them for? And what a mighty good friend you have I might add!

I must tell you all I had a total Martha Stewart moment today. We gave all the extra mhpcs that aren't lime that ds & dd1 liberated to Stinkerbelle. She likes to play with them. Well I took about 8 sets of 2 matching paint chips & played "Memory" with her. You know where you turn the cards over & try to find the matching pairs she loved it. See now the cards have 2 uses -- 1) an advent type calander and 2) a fun filled game for the whole family. Side note: for the older kids that can read you have to cross out the names on the back so they don't cheat!

I work 2' from my friend in a 10 x 12 office with a total of 5 people. It's kind of hard not to be close
He sees me on the DIS boards on break, lunch, break. And is planning his first visit in about 5 years this December. I keep trying to convice him to stay on site. And telling him about all the great info I'm finding on DIS

Kindergarteners! They are exactly like you have just explained them. You MUST be totally exhausted. I used to help out in my DD's kindergarten class and I remember her teacher telling me she took tai chi classes twice a week to stay sane!

Ok.. seems like I'm talking to myself anyway tonight.. But I just went and double checked. Only 2 updates. Starts on page 1, updates on pgs 3 & 6... so what'I miss??

I'm still here. I'm checking out other threads, or atleast trying too, everything is taking so long here for some reason tonight! I saw one of the threads said they are trying a new server.

He had posted that he updated the 2nd installment before tonight, but I could never figure out what changed so I agree, he owes us 1!

Me, too!!
At first I thought it was directed at me personally (had I been using the feature too much?? Yikes!), but there's a thread around here somewhere that said that they're doing some board maintenance.
I can't find the thread so I can't quote, but someone commented "Makes it hard to stalk, doesn't it?"

Well, I don't get that message, but I also don't get any search results. Nothing at all happens. Looks like they've changed some code, too, as well as the server. I guess we'll have to expect some glitches for awhile until they get the new stuff smoothed out.
