Just a quick update from my house.
Now you can add me to the list in this household. Just found out my doc has quit her practice and I am left blowing in the wind. Meds need to be adjusted all the time specially right now. Hope everyone else is doing okay, welcome to any newbies I may have missed, keep counting those who are close to going and welcome back those lucky folks who were just there.

Lord help me focus on all that is good instead of dwelling on the bad things in my life right now.

Motorcycle.....I actually went and bought it for him a few months ago....the guy at the dealership told me I won best wife award.....

It's women like you who make it rough for the rest of us , i'd say you got the best wife for life award.

I've gone pricing them w/DH @ dealership, saw the price sticker, fainted & we left.LOL My DH is tall, an 800 won't fit him, 1200 barely...maybe the bike fairy will come someday. Told him if he finds one w/pic of Donald Duck he can have it immediately.

Apparently I don't have very good eye sight. I just came back from the eye doctors and I had to read the lines that had the letters in it. According to my mother and brother I didn't get 1 right. But than with my glasses I got 1 wrong.

I have to get used to wearing glasses all the time. Apparently i'm missing out on alot.

Don't hold me to this, but I think Mr. Oakie is on deck. He leaves in less than a week. Then Teresa (cross family) is in FL now but not a t disney until th e24th. After that is a rush and in no order, me, Poohgal5, Scuba gal, Lauren_elizabeth, momof2stars, VA-bear and I am thinking someone else. ACK!! At least it is a running start. Most of us will be back home by Labor Day. If I left you out, I'm sorry. Please let us know!

And with the sickness, I know what you are saying. Chip has an MRI today to see how much his spine has moved. He has lost 3 inches in height in less than a year. His ortho doc says his spine curve is much greater than before. They are trying to get him screened for a IV/pill thing that strengthens the bones. His condition is cronic. *sigh* And I am going to miss meet your childs teacher time being gone the same week, so have to figure out how to fit that in. Jeff isn't happy his ED teacher from last year isn't in the same school. Found out they move them or can move them each year. If a child is ED, wouln't it be better to have a familiar person/teacher around each year?

Yep, me and DW are leaving Saturday night when I get home from work. A quick shower, change of clothes, throw everything in the suv and we'er gone. According to mapquest, its about an 11 hour drive for us. With potty breaks and such, we should be there by noon on Sunday Since I drive for a living, DW is taking the first turn at the wheel. We'll be taking turns driving.

Well......I did tell him he could get one about 3 years ago!!!! So I figured it was about time...... I didn't buy a harley though(I know, I know) but he got a brand new Honda for a little less that 1/2 the price of a Harley. He's a happy camper, so that's all that matters.
The bike fairy thing made me laugh .....we started a few years ago, when we would go out somewhere without the kids we would get them a small stuffed animal, put it in bed with them and tell them the 'stuffed animal fairy' came to visit. Eventually, we have aquired the car wash fairy(park your car in the driveway on Sat morning and Dh will wash it-doesn't matter who it belongs to either) we also have the milk fairy( you know when you go in the fridge and realize that your brother has eaten all the leftovers, but left a gallon of milk in its place)and last but not least.... the ice tea fairy.... (doesn't everyone???)

My DD7's nickname is 'Bubba'... I have NO idea why.....It's been that since she was born....

Chip had the great chance of being named after his grandfather's. His paternal has Clark in his name, his maternal has "Kent". yikes! so we skipped around that. forward 2years and they are trying to come up with a name for child #2. ex MIL thought Dale would be cute, so I would have Chip & Dale..the rescue rnagers. Can you see me calling the dancers in for dinner!! what would the neighbors think! Bad enough his dad wanted to call him Mickey forever. so he is Mike....Mike Tison...*sigh* And for me, I don't see it but for some reason they called me Chatty Kathy! I just dont' get that!

Before my magical employment at Home Depot I work for a company that had an office in southern VA(emporia)so I had to talk to them alot.....I STILL say ya'll!!!!!! and I haven't worked there in 5 years!!!!!

You were real close to me then! Emporia is about 1 -1 1/2 hours away, depending on how fast your traveled sucide alley, which now, believe it or not, is a 4 laner!
