Using TourGuideMike advice, I was able to avoid using PH options (Saved $80) but I did wish we had it once or twice. I think next time will be a 10-day trip and will definitly use PH then.

Yes, its so not me to get them....always fine wiht one park/day, esp. w/little ones.....but back to the hog wild thing. Trying to learn to live life a little more - and DID keep thinking of "little" things I mgiht like to do at a different park for just a short bit. so, I'll try it this once, if I dont utilize it well - then I know for the future.Still....fell "rich" with them...

Just a quick update from my house.
Now you can add me to the list in this household. Just found out my doc has quit her practice and I am left blowing in the wind. Meds need to be adjusted all the time specially right now. Hope everyone else is doing okay, welcome to any newbies I may have missed, keep counting those who are close to going and welcome back those lucky folks who were just there.

Lord help me focus on all that is good instead of dwelling on the bad things in my life right now.

Apparently I don't have very good eye sight. I just came back from the eye doctors and I had to read the lines that had the letters in it. According to my mother and brother I didn't get 1 right. But than with my glasses I got 1 wrong.

I have to get used to wearing glasses all the time. Apparently i'm missing out on alot.

to the I've needed glasses since I was about 8.

I've driven south past Emporia more times than I care to remember...always glad to get that far, smooth sailing thru NC from that point on

stinkerbellsmom - had a good time in OC, forgot to post about the fly infestation! Evidently, assetaque sp (pony island) sometime between 4th of July & 3rd week of July developed a "bad case" of west nile virus! The powers that be, on the q.t., imported flies for a natural extermination of said mosquitos. Unfortunately, the flies multiplied like, well - flies & soon ventured northward in search of better pickins (tourists). The afternoon we got there & ran to the beach, we couldn't initially figure out why so many people were buried in sand & had a rolled up newspaper in hand. Skin so soft, take me away...
we still had a good time, stuffed ourselves @ PGN on crabs, yum.

I couldn't remember who went, but I was wondering how it was. Yikes! Glad you had fun though. PGN was always my dad's favorite place to eat. Glad you're back!

She didnt scare me!! but then again i was a the doc for 3 hrs today and i was bored!!! So how are all the limeys? I have been reading thread reports (ask Va-bear) but that's all i have been able to do! Need my HD fix!

Cyn, Thanks for the info on the airbornne. Just thought it was kind of expensive if it doesn't work but heck I'm game if I hear someone has used it. Off to get some soon. When and how long do you give it?

If you're around sick people, take it a few times a day to avoid getting sick at all. If you feel as if you may already be coming down with something, take it about every three hours continuously until you can tell your bug is going away. If you wait until you're completely sick, it won't do much good.
