The 18th is a Blizzard Beach day and a Luau ADR... but perhaps we could squeeze in some DTD!

No but I will be down in FL in orlando on the 11th. Going to DTD any days? I could probably meet you there on the 18th!

HockeyMomof2....just checking boards before bed and was so relieved to see
you back on. I am keeping you and your family in my prayers that it will be all up hill from here. Sending many hugs to Cody.

That would be cool if Jessie could meet up with us too. We will work on that. I would love to meet you guys. What time are your ADR's?

hockeymomoftwo :

You must have been half nuts... my prayers are with you and Cody. I'm glad it was diagnosed and in the process of being cured. Hopefully you can relax and enjoy Disney when you get there!

Hugs!

HMo2, glad to hear from you. I saw a post on another thread that I thought was you, but it was HMto2. I was so disappointed that it wasn't you, and very worried that we hadn't heard from you. Hope this diagnosis and treatment are the ones that do the trick. Here's more prayers and pixiedust:

It's good to get on here and remember not to sweat the small stuff. In the last few hours, I've turned into Dis-zilla, worrying about if I have everything for tomorrow morning. I bought a bottle of Bullfrog sunscreen a couple of weeks ago for this trip, now it's nowhere to be found. The kids are out so I called their cell phones to ask them if they know where it is. Turned the house upside down. Accused DH of putting it away somewhere dumb. Found another bottle 3/4 full, but it's not the RIGHT ONE! Why do I get so worked up? I can just buy another bottle if we need it, right? Coming on here and seeing HMo2's trials reminds me to get a grip, there's real trouble, and then there's the stuff we get worked up about that's really nothing.
So, I'm still sweating (current temp here, 90 F), but I'll try to let go of the small stuff.

Since my mind will be gone by then, maybe I'll just be wearing the LGMH only!!

If you dressed that way & learned how to shake it a little you'd probably have money to go to the motherland more often! :rolleyes1 :goodvibes

I hope you have a great time Jessie. Hope things work out with your friend going too. :hyper2: Good luck with the new room. Hope you feel better soon too! :goodvibes

No, I don't mind 14 yo's at all. I just think a 40 odd year old man should act his age and do things, instead of acting like he is 70 and so anti social!! Hiding out in the house and pouting! Well he is bi-polar, but there are days I want to tell him to get over it!

Do you want to borrow my tazor? :smooth: Maybe some "It's a Small World" therapy would help! ;)

HMo2, glad to hear from you...sorry things just seem to be dragging on for you and your boy. Ugh. He (and you) must be utterly tired of being sick by now. I hope this surgery means a turning of the tide as far as his health is concerned...

Have you been able to put a shoe on? Dh got the fancy one from the hospital. He just recently has been able to put on shoes comfortably. Take it easy. Do you have a cane or anything you can use?

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Yes, I am able to wear a sneaker comfortably and my Crocs Athens are just "ok" right now (and I planned on wearing them a lot in the parks :( ) The toe looks and feels better today, and I attribute that to being able to keep it elevated quite a bit. I think if I take care if it for the rest of the week, it won't be so bad when we go. If I get too tired and achy, well, the DS or DH CAN just wheel me around a park. I already told them that, so they know what to expect if I'm not 100% by then!

I heard that Cyn broke her toe. I hope you get better for your Wdw trip!
Hi, Jessie. I hope you get some time to relax and de-stress. Once your room is completely clean and re-done, you will feel better about everything! Thanks for thinking about me and my toe. I'm doing better.

HEY that is great news 'bout the chair, I will look into it fursure :magnify:

Yuppers babe is now 17.5 and doing just fine. More later if anyone wants the sad details -- not really happy Disney stuff eh?

Bipolar? Uhm YUPPERS that would be me. I am petrified about how this trip will work out. Since I am going with my parents ONLY and haffa leave hubby and daughter home since we can't afford everyone (sis is getting married) I won't be able to get sleep patterns I need to keep myself on the level. Meds in the sun also problem since they make me oversensitive. :sunny: SO that is why I LOVE Donald even though most don't : he is either so angry you don't even look at him or so happy that you can't help but get caught up it.

Good Luck! :shamrock: I will send plenty of pixie dust prayers your way! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Things I've learned from this thread!
1) It moves faster than greased lightening!
2) you end up responding to something that was posted no less than 2 days ago. and you were on since then!
3) There are lots of family memebers on here!
4) You can make and plan to meet lots of cool new friends!
5) If you can't find enough LGMH's, then someone will mail them to you from their stash if you PM them!
6) No matter how you prepare the other Limey's will be at another park and you will miss any other DIS'er there unless you make previous meeting arrangements!
I think it would be really funny to put together a "What I Learned from the Secret Green Club" post. But if I'm gonna do it, it'll have to wait until after my trip. If someone else felt like doing it, I could link it to #3232 real quick. ;)

The very first time that I dragged DH to a meet at WDW, he just didn't get it. Until finally: "Wait. Is this like a Star Trek Convention for people who love Disney?"

You can go to the Home Depot website & put in your zip code, it will give you all the HDs around you. :thumbsup2
