Our School Was On CNN - The Bubble Is Popped

This is getting serious.

Our school got into a fight with another school last year, and becasue of that, all basketball games are closed now (between our schools). This was to stop a fight from occuring.

On last Friday, we played them again. And a fight broke out again. This is getting serious. Not a fun time to be in Hampton. Dukovich's son is in my grade, and his daughter is in my little brother's grade.

The reason my headline says "The Bubble Is Popped" is a rather odd one. Our area, Hampton, is lovingly called the "Bubble" by the students. Nothing bad happens in the bubble, ever. And if it does, it will never be mentioned. Even last year, our yearbook was "The Bubble". This should be an intresitng, and drawn out afair.

Wow - didn't realize that it made national news - I saw this on Channel 11!!

I feel bad for the basketball player - his Mom started the fight and was cussing and then the Dad stepped in and popped the ref....

Our school gets tons of coverage for all the deaths due to car accidents....

Yeah, this is not going good. Now we have signs up on people's lockers about "Save Pete" and such.

My cousin ref BBall and he has to escorted to his car after every game. It really is disgusting.

I don't get the Save Pete - he assaulted someone and gave them a concussion. He and his wife should be banned from school events.

I just read about that in the Washington Post...the sad thing is this is not an isolated case. It's happening more and more and at younger children's games too
