Our "Not So Scary" Return to WDW! (updt 11/14) Day 4 - Magic Kingdom - pg. 12

That's right ladies (and gentlemen?) we're in the 30's. Today is 39 (!!!) days until Disney. WOOT WOOT!

I'm busy ChaCha'ing away to earn some extra spending money. After today the rest of the week is going to busy until Monday (swimming, shopping for shoes, football evaluations, and camping). Then next week will have it's own list of things to do (school supply shopping, open house, and one last summer blow out day for the boys-not sure what we're doing yet, and getting ready for the yard sale).

I had to jump in when I saw where you are from. I am in the same town. I am also Chachaing and doing Expotv. PM me your expo ID and I will add you as a buddy. I have not done any videos for the last 2 months, but am going to get on it this month.

I have a dd3 - loves Goofy's barnstormer. And a ds7.

We are going to wdw labor day weekend and staying through Wednesday. I didn't want ds to miss more than 2 days of school b/c last year his teacher gave him so much work to make up. I told her in advance and asked for work. She told him to do a book report, so I thought that would be it. Nope. She had him do the book report, then gave him all the make up work - homework and classwork. This same teacher sent all the teachers an email the day before our snow day that said, "In anticipation of a snow day tomorrow, I am sending the kids home with extra work." It took ds 3 hours to do that extra work.

WOW! So cool to meet someone else from our area! What part of the county do you live in? We are in North Forsyth, near Dawson Co. This will be the first time that we've taken the kids out of school for a trip, so I'm interested to see how it all goes down. I plan on telling the teachers right away.

Itinerary Day 4-Off Day/DTD

*sleep late (yeah right, not with my kids!).
*explore POR and enjoy the pool.
*take boat to DTD and catch bus to the Polynesian for our 4:25 O'hana ADR.
*bus back to DTD and hang out there to do some shopping/exploring.
*boat back to POR.
*off to bed to rest because tomorrow...WE LEAVE!

I'm actually really excited about this day. I can't wait to explore POR and maybe do some fishin' . I'm also REALLY excited about O'Hana. It's a little earlier than I wanted, but it was either that or like 8:00, so it was a no-brainer.

I also can't wait to go back to DTD. Last time we didn't get to the Lego store, and and are saving some serious money to spend there this trip. Not to mention Goofy's Candy Company. I want me a Mickey Head rice crispie!

Today the boys and I got all of the football and school shopping done! Our camping trip may not happen for this weekend. It looks like it could be a wet one here, not to mention HOTT! I'm slowly getting yard sale stuff together, and I've got all the big stuff ready to post on Craigslist. In just 4 days of ChaChaing I'm up to $50. Not too shabby!

Anyway, I'll be back in a few days to share the Itinerary for Day 5. The final day.

And we got both this week so we're ready to go except for packing. And...if you are in the 30's that mean's we are too! Yay! I'm sure your kids will have a blast in the Lego store. And O'hana should be fun also, I know they do a lot of activities with kids there.

Has it really been a week since I posted an update?!?! I guess time does fly when you're having fun (i.e. extremely busy!).

So, time is winding down. I'm getting things crossed off my list. School and football shopping is done. Football evaluations and open house are done. So, all that's left is for school and football to start, both happen next week! Unfortunately things really won't slow down. Well, maybe that's not a bad thing. It just means that Disney gets here even quicker.

Tomorrow the boys and I are meeting with my dad to have a "last day of summer" blow out. Not sure what we are doing, but it'll be fun. Saturday we have a bday party to go to for a friend, and Sunday will be church. Monday is the first day of school. It also is the first day of football. We'll have football every night Monday-Thursday & again on Saturdays. Then next Friday & Saturday is the community yard sale. I've been getting my stuff together, and have already sold 2 of my bigger items on craigslist! $165 made already!! Then the next week is my birthday and then the following week is 's birthday. So, as you can see I am a BUSY woman, but I promise you that I will have Day 5's Ininerary up before the end of the weekend!

OH OH OH and tomorrow is 29 DAYS!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

There, just had to get that out! There's been a few things happen/come up lately that have me wanting to scream!

First of all, last week was whining about turning 30. I told him to get over it, because atleast he'll be spending the days following his bday in DISNEY! At that point starts yelling NOOOOOO don't tell him, you said it was a surprise. I try to give him the evil eye to get him to hush, but he just keeps repeating it over and over. Finally I say SHUT UP (I know, not my best mom moment ). So, now knows that there IS a surprise, but he doesn't know WHAT it is (yet, ). I knew better than to share my ideas with & but I was about to pop, and I let my better judgement go out the window.

Secondly, as I was looking through the information about the upcoming school year last night, I came across some bad news. I knew that the boys have CRCT testing in April, and I didn't even think about there being other major testing. Well there is, ITBS. Just for 3rd grade. Which is 's grade. The ENTIRE week that we will be gone! I'm not sure how the school is going to feel about this.

Anyway, I'm working on Day 5's Intinerary, and I'll have it up tomorrow.

Ok, ok, I know that it is Monday, not Sunday , but yesterday got a little crazy with trying to get the boys ready for the first day of school. So, now that they are at school, and the little 2 are playing/watching TV, I can FINALLY post the itinerary for our last day.

Itinerary Day 5-Hollywood Studios:

*up by 7:00.
*check out, loud van, quick breakfast at POR.
*catch bus and make rope drop.
*Toy Story Midway Mania first. Ride and get FP for later.
*RNRC (parent swap pass for later).
*Star Tours (parent swap or FP depending on standby time).
*Playhouse Disney Live chewy: might take the older ones to Indiana Jones at this time).
*Back to Star Tours (use whatever passes we ended up with).
*ADR @ 1:00 50's PTC.
*Back to RNRC (use parent swaps from earlier)
*Back to Toy Story Midway Mania (use FP).
*Block Party Bash?
*Bus to POR
*Go Home

We may fit in ToT, but my boys just aren't really sure that they want to ride it, and I don't want to take them in kicking and screaming. We'll just see how they feel when we are there. We may also fit in the Great Movie Ride. We HAVE to get pics with Mater & McQueen, because they are 's life these days.

So, there you have it. Our last day.

with all of his "Cars" cars. He carries them like this ALL day, every where he goes. To the bath, to the table, to the bed. EVERYWHERE! I've tried giving him something to put them in, but he wouldn't have it.

Yay for Disney mail! Very cute pictures, especially with the cars and how he carries them everywhere! Now that I'm down to the last few weeks, it seems like forever. More so then when we originally booked it in April! I guess it's all the anticipation. What is your family dressing up as? Will you all do the same theme, or different costumes for each of the boys?

Shoot, I forgot to share THOSE pictures. I'm on a different computer now, so I'll have to do it tomorrow. We aren't dressing up, but a WONDERFUL DISigner made me a great design. I'll post it tomorrow. I know what you mean. Time was flying for awhile, but now it has really slowed down. Oh well, I've still got a lot to get down so that might be a good thing!
