Our "Not So Scary" Return to WDW! (updt 11/14) Day 4 - Magic Kingdom - pg. 12

:rotfl2: I'm glad you were able to get in on the good deal too! I had a hard time finding Yth Large at the store today. :confused3

The boys are really mad though, because I told them that the shirts will not be worn until our trip. I'm so mean! :rotfl:

If it makes them feel any better let them know my boys can't have their shirts until vacation either and they are 14 - 18 years old!!! :rotfl:

I'll be sure to tell them that. Atleast they won't feel alone! ;)

I just went and bought us all these shirts matching....

Obviously, I'll be the only one in the white Minnie shirt. I know, kinda cheesy, all matching shirts, but maybe we can get a good family picture for the Christmas cards! :thumbsup2

Well, I put up a good fight but as it turns out, I am powerless against the words "disney", "t-shirt", and "$4.99" appearing in the same sentence! :rolleyes1 This was the 3rd or 4th report where I came across it and after seeing your cute tees I had to check it out. Made a few purchases... thank goodness the selection wasn't better! ;)

You guys will look adorable in your matching shirts!!!

When my total came up to $64 and some change for 12 shirts, the clerk reminded me that that would be like 3 shirts in Disney. So, it's actually like SAVING money, not spending! ;)

I like your thinking! And your shirts, I got that same Minnie one for myself! I did a little shopping over there too yesterday. Can't beat that 4.99 deal!

::cop: Put down the credit card and step away from the computer! :surfweb:

I've done it again. I visited the Disneyshopping website. :sad2: My only defense is that I got an email about 20% off, and I thought about the lanyards and the pins that I'm wanting to buy :donald:, :goofy:, and :ccat:. The good news is that the lanyards were only $4.99 (down from $9.50) each, and so were the pins
. :thumbsup2

So, I got 3 lanyard sets (comes with 2 pins) and 3 Buzz pins for $29 + shipping. Not too bad, but I must stop with the purchases for now. ::yes::

I checked out those yesterday too! I didn't buy though but I saw it on the Budget Board and had to peek!

Go visit pincastle.com. The grab bags of pins are great economical ways to get a bunch of pins to trade! My kids absolutely love doing that!

And all of my purchases have safely arrived! :woohoo:

pooh: was so excited when I told him that his new stroller was here. :lmao: As I was taking it out of the box, he was jumping around saying "stroller" over and over again in his cute little 2yo voice. He's a nut! :rotfl: So, without further ado, here is pooh: and :ccat: enjoying their Maclaren Volos. :ccat:'s is used, and obviously it's not a great fit for him, but it'll do. The best part is that I got it for the same price as the cheapos at Walmart, and he has a lot more room in the Volo! pooh: fits nice and comfy in his, and I'm really excited because now I can sell his big regular stroller. :cool1: Excuse the red ink on pooh:s legs. He found his brothers stamp.

These also came in the mail today! The boys are so excited about pin trading. I'm going to buy a grab bag of pins sometime between now and September and split them up between the 3 of them. :thumbsup2

And lastly, today is 75 days until Disney! :woohoo: :cool1: :dance3:

I made this last week, and today we get to start using it! :yay:

I'm off to a Pampered Chef party tonight. It's my 2nd party in 3 days, and I'm looking forward to some more "me" time!

ADR Change....

I saw on my TGM Vacation Club, that Disney had opened up some more dining times at a few restaurants. Ohana being one of them. I had a 7:25 ressie, and I wasn't really excited about it. We're eating there on our "off" day, and I really wanted something earlier.

And, today I got it!!!

We're now eating at Ohana at 4:25. So, this means that we can hang out at the resort all day swimming and exploring, and then go to dinner. After dinner we'll head to DTD. I like this muuuuuch better! ::yes::

Hello 60's!! 69 days til Disney! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I'll be paying off the trip this week as well! :cool1:

Cool! I don't even know how many days I have, need to count that out!

Something is screwy with my computer, I can't see any of your pictures! Bummer, I hope I can fix this!

Glad you are getting closer and closer!

Allyson

Bumping you up from the depths of page four!

Any new updates Melissa? How many days now?

Allyson :)

More changes.......

Ok, so after I sat down and realized that I was only saving $50 for staying the first night off site, I decided to see if we could get back into POR for an extra night :confused3 . Thankfully we were able to do so :cool1: , so we'll still drive in on the 6th and arrive late, but we'll go straight to POR. This will be good because there won't be a mad rush to check into POR the next a.m. and still get to our AK ADR. :thumbsup2

This also gives us another day of Free Dining! So, now I'm trying to decide where to eat on out last day.

We'll be in MGM and then leave straight from there to go home. So, I was thinking we'd have a TS lunch in MGM. I'm trying to decide between Sci-Fi and 50's PTC. What do you think?

We're at 58 days (and a few hours) now. I can't believe it! I haven't paid the trip off yet, but I'll be doing so next week. I decided on my changes when I was getting ready to send in the final payment, so I was delayed for a few days.

:ccat: turned 5 yesterday! :lovestruc I can't believe it! Where did the time go? :confused3

I think I'd go with Prime Time, have you been there? It is fun and the food is good.

We did Sci Fi this past trip and it was fun but:

A. It is wicked dark in there, hard to see your food
B. The cars are cool and its a neat atmosphere but really the seating means you really only talk to the person you are sitting with. There were 6 of us and we were seated 2-2-2 in front of one another. It really splits up your group.

I think I'd go with Prime Time!

And awesome on adding another night at POR! That was a smart choice since it was only $50 more. It will save you the time and hassle of moving over early in the morning.

Happy Birthday a day late to your not so little anymore guy!

We nearly posted at the same time! ;)

Thanks for the heads up. We'll definately be heading to Prime Time then. :chewy: does not like eating the in dark, and I have a feeling that pooh: wouldn't either! I guess I'll be back on the phone with Disney Dining tomorrow! :chat: It'll also be a good time to mention :chewy:'s bday, and to call Coral Reef to (hopefully) reserve a diver and get the special menus!

50's PTC it is! I got us a 1:00 ADR, so that should give us time ride the rides that we want to ride, and maybe see a show or 2, eat lunch, finish anything that we haven't yet done, and then hit the road! :thumbsup2

I've been playing around on Google Earth for a while. Looking at WDW in 3D. Oh I can't wait to be back there! It's an everyday thing around here to hear someone saying, "I can't wait til Disney". And little pooh:, every time you say Disney World he says "me ride Goopy Ahnstomer". He's tall enough to ride it and I can't wait. He loves to ride 4 wheelers and all that stuff so I'm hoping that he'll like it. :scared: I'm just excited that it is our first roller coaster at Disney that we can ride as a family! :yay:

I also called Coral Reef about the diver and personalized menu, but I had to leave a message. Hopefully someone will get back to me today or tomorrow. :rolleyes1

updt! It's all scheduled now! :thumbsup2

subscribing so I can read all about your future adventure. We are planning a June 2009 trip and I want to make a count down calendar too with the paint samples. I visited Home Depot a couple of weeks ago and "shoplifted" some of each color. I even took some of the non-mickey head samples thinking I could make a flip calendar. I'll have to fill you in on when I get it going. I still have 11 months until we go. Anyway, look forward to reading more posts.
