Macraven, I feel your pain. We have been "moving" for 3-4 years now. Been in the new place a year and a half and still haven't cleaned out the old place!

Good luck! We are in a similar situation; looking to move after 30 years in our current house (as of next month).

Yikes! Ours was only 17 years and still a lot of stuff!

We're doing a yard sale in the spring!

Don't worry Jo. We're not moving until we find where to move but we have to get out of our house; DH can barely handle the stairs and we're so tired of the yard upkeep (2.6 acres). We have reservations in Asheville, NC soon to look around though.

We gave up on the yard sale and have been just going to the Thrift shop. I see lots more trips there in the future!

We have to move everything when we leave as the drive to the new home will be over 13 hour drive

We sold the house where we still are living and will be out a week or so before this house closes
Can't complain as we did not want to own both houses

Now back to packing
