First off I would like to Thank all of the wonderful Diser's for their support and kind words through the tough times we've been going through in the recent past regarding the housing situation and my dear godkids Madison and Faith. It really has meant a lot and I can't tell you how many times it got me through the day.
Second I would like to update everyone.
We got the rental house, it is so wonderful to be in a house now instead of living in an apartment.
We went from a average size apartment (which was fine for DFiance and I, but not when we moved in godkids and their father), to a beautiful "rustic" 4b/2b/1c garage home on a nice wooden private lot. Its so much nicer and the girls love coming home now and they also have their own room which is wonderful. I created a site to share the photos of the house with family/friends and if anyone would like to see it's located here... Our New House
Things seem to be coming together well, we have got most everything sorted and put up in the new house, finishing up the rest of it today.
As far as custody and what not, things seem to be falling into place. The girls father filed for divorce/custody last month and the papers were served last week. Mom flipped but has calmed down and this has pushed her to see her girls more often than once or twice a month like before. Which is wonderful for them and we hope this will help them adjust. Our court date is in mid-april and we will see what happens from there. Hoping that the girls will be able to stay here as their primary home and reasonable visitation with mom.
They are doing so well now, playing and learning more than ever before and next month both girls go to an eval to start Pre-K... yahoo!
