~Our March 'Just Engaged',freezing,and full of surprises trip~Updated 6/23 p.76

A nice long day getting into the nitty gritty of WS!! How great is that??

BTW, the cheapest wool sweater I saw in Norway ws around $450!! :scared1::scared1: Who would be crazy enough to pay that??!!

I got on off of J.Crew for $60 -- SAME thing.

You got some really great shots. Love the sunset on the ball one. :thumbsup2

I am so glad you told us there are no bus stops for mono resorts!!! I didn't know that!

We felt like we had accomplished something great! haha

Seriously, how do those shops stay in business with all that expensive stuff?!

Yep, you have to ride the monorail to the TTC and then switch over to the Resort monorail.

We were told there was 20 something trolls, but there were all gone in Feb.

Wow, that's a lot! I wonder why they're gone.

I really liked Beirgarten, and I second the suggestion of doing lunch instead of dinner.
I couldn't believe the prices for a sweater! :scared1: I was thinking I would get one if it wasn't more that $120, well I still don't have one. :lmao:
When you said you went to the bus stop to go to the GF I was thinking, "What about the monorail?" :lmao:

I don’t know if you can tell, but I’m looking around. I’m always doing that at WDW. I’m trying to take everything in. It’s something I do everywhere we go there. It’s my “happy place” and I’ve waited and planned for so long to be back there…so I want to take it all in and remember it when I’m back home again. Please tell me that some of you are like that too!

You might a few people like that around here. :)

Would I qualify if I brought home a pinecone from a walk along the river from POR to POFQ or a little baggie of sand from the Poly beach? ;)

Ok, so Im not sure if someone poseted this yet or not but since the purse has been such a hot topic in this thread I thought I would share this info for anyone who is not yet aware......The Dooney bags are now available through the disney store online. They seem to sell out pretty quick but they pop on and off the site throughout the day.

I thought those Chinese Zodiac animals were cool. It was fun reading the little descriptions that go along with them. I came to the conclusion that the one for my birth year does not sound like me at all. LOL!

What a fantastic evening at Epcot! I love taking pics of all the different kinds of architecture too. Everything is just so authentic.

Haha, yeah..we thought a bus would be faster though because you have to ride the monorail to the TTC and then switch to the Resort monorail. Oh well.

Haha, yes that works. I love little souvenirs like that! How is Bella today?

I saw that! I got an e-mail from the Disney Store online last week!

Yeah they were cool, weren't they?! lol What was yours?

Thanks girl!

Loved your update - and yes, I too am one that likes to "take it all in" hoping to reserve some memories to conjure up on a day (like today) when I am missing the Disney magic! I try to soak up everything - the sights, the smells, the sounds, the feelings. :goodvibes

And I too, get sad at the end of the day when I am leaving, thinking of how much fun I had and how quickly it went by and it makes me a little frowny to think that I am one day closer to going home. :sad2: But, good thing for you, you've got another trip coming up soon! Unlike me, who has to wait a whole year!!!! :rolleyes1

I love Biergarten! The food is really good. I especially love the Potato and Leak Soup and the Schnitzel (I'm not sure if that's how you spell it). And the band that performs is really entertaining. You should definitely try it! :thumbsup2

China is really interesting. I had never really taken the time to explore it, but last summer I did the Kim Possible thing with my little cousin in China. I was surprised at just how cool the gardens and the architecture are.

And yes, the queue line for Nemo is RIDICULOUS when there's nobody actually in line. You walk forever! All the weaving makes me dizzy. There should be a way for people to bypass part of the queue when it's so empty.

Yay for the Full House reference! Best. Show. Ever. :upsidedow

Thanks! Glad I'm not the only one who's like that!

Thanks for the info!

The gardens are beautiful.

The actual line itself is neat..just not when it takes you forever to walk through it all!

Haha, I used to be obsessed with the show!

Yeah they were cool, weren't they?! lol What was yours?

I was born in 1985 so I'm the year of the ox. I took a picture of it and will post it once I get to that in my TR.

I had 3 updates to catch up on! You are fast!

I think it's great that you were going at a slow pace & taking time to appreciate all that is around you. WS is the one place where I think you could go and see new things EVERY trip. We spent some time in Morrocco last time and I really enjoyed it.

You are right about the American place needing a TS restaurant. It's funny that one of my favorite memories comes from eating at that CS. Years ago (before I knew about the Dis) we were there at Christmas time. We got burgers from there & took them outside to eat. The Candlelight Processional had just started and we got to eat while listening to the whole thing. It was so amazing. Definitely a "Disney moment" for us.

I totally bought the Biergarten shirt you are talking about! I can't wait to wear it to Epcot in June! DF has the shirt from there that says "Got Bier" and we are going to wear them on the same day

We were so glad to see WS in a new way.

Isn't amazing the most random little memories that we have from trips?

Haha, that is hilarious!! I need to see pics!

Great update!
How fun that you got to see divers! I want to take some time and explore the aquarium part of the Seas more..it is always so crowded in there that we don't take the time to stick around!

Can't wait for your evening at the GF!:goodvibes

I could not believe that we were coming to an end of another day. Isn’t it amazing how fast the days go by when you’re having fun?! I pictured us walking in to Epcot earlier that day…full from our wonderful breakfast at Kona. We were excited for the day to come..and now it was already almost over. Yes, I overthink things like this all the time. HA.

I do this all the time on vacation too! I tend to do it the moment we walk into the lobby of the hotel, usually seeing other people leaving, and thinking that will be us in no time at all and I'll think back to this moment and it will seem like it went by in a flash. We gotta stop these thoughts!!
Enjoyed the update!

Oh you know there will be pics in the TR when we get back!! I actually haven't worn the shirt at all yet, it will be christened on the honeymoon lol

Haha, okay!!

I know..it can get crowded in there!

Whew, this is the first WDW TR I've read and I'm a little late to the game. First, Congratulations! Next, wow! We're seriuously considering making the trip next March. Is it usually cold like that? I haven't been to FL since '84 and we got to spend a whole day at WDW. (can't you just hear the sarcasm...lol) Golly there's even more to see than I could have imagined. Hmmm.. maybe it's time to stick my nose back in my palnning book. lol

Thanks for sharing!

I'm the first WDW TR that you've started reading?! How cool! Thanks!

I really recommend going in March. Just make sure it's not close to Easter week!! Yeah, the weather was chilly, but just pack jeans and sweatshirts/long sleeves and you'll be fine! We had the time of our lives.

Wow, a lot has changed since '84!!
