Love that you added a PB/CL Day, Jeanette!. We want photos!

Just curious..... at exactly what time do you rise in the mornings???? Your Dis time stamp says 5:40am on this post! So that means you're actually up before that! I'm impressed....:worship: And I thought I was an early riser.....
The smart answer would be, "Too early." The real answer is by 0445. I, like you;), like to get up before everyone. This gives me about an hour before I awaken DD and I can get some computer time in:surfweb:. As I, umm, 'mature', I seem to be up before the birds anyway:sad2:

We got all yours, MAGIC's and Melissa's rain around midnight. It was quite the loud downpour, but now the birds are singing and some lovely puddles must await us this morning...

Hello ladies, a quick note while I sit here listening to Snore Monster and Miss M cuddles next to me with her book. The reveal was... "Not textbook" to say the least. LOL. I think I could sell the video to Universal if they ever decided to do their own version of the ME. (You know the videos they show of the parents revealing their Disney plans to overjoyed kids? Miss M is sooooo not one of those kids. Bahaha.) "...but can't we just go to Disney tomorrow?" Oh man.

We went over to DHS last night, rode Star Tours and came back. Did MK today in the pouring rain, lightened up a bit as we headed over to GF Cafe for lunch and then DTD for a required pair of shoes for me since I didn't pack for monsoon season. ;-) Was a bad mommy and lost the stein and goblet we got from Gaston's Tavern. Bleh. Oh well, these things happen. Will try to check in later on. :-)
I have an underwhelmed/over-analyzer/overwhelmed only, too. Don't take it personally, just enjoy yourself in spite of it.

Has the CBR beach washed away yet? If there's no lightning, the pools will still be open and the crowds are lower in the parks (outside). I hope all your plans aren't quashed and you get some good park time in. How is the food court?

Stopped at CVS to pick up my prescriptions, Bob needed to get a battery for his car remote, He was having trouble finding it until I pointed it out to him what he did next was right out of a Seinfeld episode........he put the battery in his pants pocket :scared1:

I said what are you doing? He looked at me dumb until I said you put the battery in your pocket! He quickly took it out, he did not even realize what he did. :faint:

He stopped at the bank ATM and put a check into his savings instead of his checking. He is driving me crazy :rotfl:

Now you have me worried, Sheila and I would have to agree with you that those seemingly mindless actions and not wanting to take his meds, may be an indicator of some sort of early onset dementia. I don't know what the best approach with him is, as it sounds like he's stubborn and may be defensive about his worsening condition, but that incident and others you've described do merit cognitive study.

Can you make the appt. for him and go with him and express your observations and concerns to the Dr.? I'm sorry you're facing this, but you only want what's best for him and as you said before, you want him to get medical attention before it gets worse. Whatever the cause, whether benign or otherwise, I hope you get some resolution soon.

Good Morning All!

Koh... this one's for you ;) decisions, decisions.... :teeth:

Hi Heather!! Love that we are treated to the return of the "picture of the day"

...with pleasure, my friend

Heather, that's amazing....it will be fantastic once you have completed your masters!

...not amazing, crazy :crazy2:  But thanks. Without the support of my wonderful husband, there's no way I could do this.

Can't believe the kiddos are officially done with school and next year I will have 3rd and 5th grader..EEK! Oh and a junior in college....FAINT!!! I swear I am not old enough ;)

Looking forward to relaxing this summer!!! If it wasn't so darn hot I would be making some trips to WDW for some Dis meets, but this native New Englander hibernates in the A/C all summer long :)

They grow up way too fast!!!! and COLLEGE??!! Wow!

Try and stay cool ;) Seems like our summers get hotter and hotter! South Georgia is like a sauna in August.

I hopefully will get to start a tr tonight, but it is quite possible that I won't.

:teeth: Sounds good to me!

Looks like I have a lot of reading to catch up on. Dr Appt went good but lab called and They did not have enough blood to run my PTH test which is one that the Dr I was seeing today keeps tabs on. So after my Appt went over to get poked again. :rotfl:

Stopped at CVS to pick up my prescriptions, Bob needed to get a battery for his car remote, He was having trouble finding it until I pointed it out to him what he did next was right out of a Seinfeld episode........he put the battery in his pants pocket :scared1:

Shelia, sorry to hear that. I'm sure it's very difficult. I'm in agreement with Kook though. He needs to see a doctor....someway, somehow. Once y'all can find out what's going on, it will be of some relief.

Bleh. Oh well, these things happen. Will try to check in later on. :-)

Hope the shoes are working well and the monsoon is moving out!!

:scratchin....4:45am is quite early. BEFORE kids that was my gym/running time. AFTER kids, a bad knee, and hitting 40+ ...the bed is where you will find me at 0445 hours.....unless of course I'm at Disney and need to hit rope drop extra early.

We got all yours, MAGIC's and Melissa's rain around midnight. It was quite the loud downpour, but now the birds are singing and some lovely puddles must await us this morning...

Glad we could be of service:thumbsup2 Andrea seems to be moving up the coast towards the NE. My flowers and lawn are oh so grateful for the rain! :worship:

So....lots to do today!!!! I haven't packed a darn thing, yet. And I promised Faith we would get pedicures this morning. And of course I've got to get the house cleaned up before we leave....hate leaving things a mess. (I'm a little obsessive like that)

Hope all my RC friends have a beautiful day!

Heather - thanks for the pic! :-) no time to discuss with DH last night. Hopefully we figure things out this weekend. I'm leaning toward CBR at the moment, only because of something one of you said (can't remember who, sorry!) about the kids being young enough now to love the pirate room and pool/splash area. AKL will be there for a future trip. :-)

KOOK I tell him all the time I am going with him but he is insistent that " No Your Not!" I think I am going to keep a log of everything then confront him with it, I am thinking once the moment passes he forgets about it, one reason he insists nothing is wrong. wish me luck.

I heard on the news Palm Beach county got hit with a tornado?

Thankseveryone for the good wishes for my recovery! Spent yesterday in bed. Too painful to walk yet. All I can do is get to the loo!

Can't sleep either, been up since 3:00 am. Ugh. Today my baby graduates college!! I borrowed a wheelchair as I'm not walking much yet.

So much going on here with everyone, with my brain fuzzy from pain meds hard to keep track!!

Yikes 106 in Sacramento

Heather, loving the photos!

Sheila, so sorry to hear about your husband, it must be very scary. I hope you can get him in to the Dr. If it is, there are meds to slow down the progression. My mom has Alzheimer's. hugs

Miss, hope the shoes work out! And the storm passes soon. I still have memories of Fay!! Did you check with the park lost & found on lost mug etc? Maybe someone turned it in.
Sounds like your making the best of it thru the storm. I think we went thru 2 ponchos each with Fay!

Anything I missed I'm blaming on foggy brain, lol

You're right....at some point the kids will be too old for the Pirate Room. Do it while they're young and think it's the coolest thing ever! :thumbsup2 We did the Princess room for Faith this year and she loved it! Even Jesse thought it was pretty awesome.

Good idea, Shelia!

Heather Your pics of AKL are killing me. Oh how I want to stay there again I love AKL but I also want to stay at the Poly. Ugh

The Poly is equally as beautiful...just in a different way. You know how I love that place, too. Let's see if I can scrounge up a pic for ya;)....

Pain meds??? :rolleyes1 Take em' ;) Hope you have a better day today and get some rest. Take care of the knee and don't do too much.

Good morning !

The DD's are off today, a PA day for the teachers here. So, DH and I are sitting around discussing our plan of attack for today. ;)

Miss: I am really hoping the weather is better today...update us when you can! Are you going to SWW today???:darth:

Heather: So nice to have you back, I love looking forward to your photos!:goodvibes Are you rained out?

Sheila: Hmmm, it does sound a bit more serious than just forgetfulness. Hope you can convince him to get himself checked out. How frustrating for you.

Koh: It is true that AKL will be there later for you...I just have a hard time with that one too. I know we will have other trips, but I still want to experience everything NOW!!!:upsidedow

Kook: Although I don't get up quite as early, I agree that when I get up before everyone else, it is a much nicer start to my day. No grumpy bear!;)

JanetB: I forgot to comment on your lovely Sam, what a beauty!:flower3: and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO HER!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Have a great Friday everyone...

I agree with KOOK, and she put it way better than I could this morning with my still half asleep brain.

I'm sorry the reveal didn't go as you had hoped. When I did our reveal last year the DSs were like, "oh ok cool". My DH just said, "well their teenage boys, so I warned you to not get disappointed if they didn't freak out with excitement".

Good Morning All!

Hope all my RC friends have a beautiful day!

Only 93 days and I will see this in person!!

The journal is not only a good idea to show to him, but his doctor as well.

Andrea is heading towards me but they are saying just rain where I am so that is good.

Stat safe and dry.

Congrats to your DD on graduating college!!

Well I got a job offer. It would only be for 5 hours a day and like $200 a week, but that's Disney money. The friend that I watched her in home day care, has had several more people come looking for child care. She just doesn't have any room, with working by herself. I talked to the DH, she answered his questions (via texts), and he actually gave me the go-ahead. I was shocked. I think it will be great for me to get out of this house during the day and get away from the fil especially (who was a yelling grump-ball all day yesterday).

Oh and I found out something yesterday that had me so shocked I couldn't form a sentence for a couple of minutes. The day I picked Joey up from school, the lady next door from my friend (who has her own in home day care) said that the lady (who was supposed to have worked with me) had asked if one of her teenage daughters could go over and watch the kids until I got back. I assumed it was through texts, but I was wrong. This woman actually walked out of the house and went to the house next door and sat down, and talked to the woman next door. It was nap time, and the kids were asleep. Well except for the 5 month old she left in the floor totally unattended.

Anyway, I am supposed to go over to pick up my pay for the week I worked and we'll talk about me working for her full time. I just need to find out what she'll do when I go to WDW.

Wookie: Congrats on the job offer! You sound like you really care about the kids, and that is so super important for anyone working in childcare. Kudos and yay for extra Disney $$$!!:woohoo:

I am so bad when it comes to writing papers. I always plan on getting them done early, and then I wait until the last minute to do them. I guess it works for me though since I usually always get A's on them.
I usually am ahead...but I just have no desire I guess :rolleyes1

He stopped at the bank ATM and put a check into his savings instead of his checking. He is driving me crazy :rotfl:
Sheila, did he get his blood work done? I am worried...it could just be the absent minded man thing...but he should have other things ruled out...medication interactions even  Hang in there!!

Sounds like the rain hasn't slowed you down much!!! Sorry about the souvenirs from Gaston's. Thank you for checking in

:scratchinI'm going to attempt to post via my husband's Surface tablet since DS is on the laptop...kind of a pain though. It's a bit tough to cut and paste so no multi-quoting for me

Tropical storm Andrea is rolling through! Rain, rain, and more rain. Luckily the winds are mild. WDW was/is getting plenty of it, too. Hopefully will be gone by tomorrow.

If I can get my laptop back, perhaps I can actually make some replies:upsidedow

Heather
We have rain rain rain, but I am sure it's nothing compared to GA and Fla

:wave2: Sounds like even with bad weather you are still having a good time. This is me :surfweb: waiting for your next check in!!!
:thumbsup2

Love that you added a PB/CL Day, Jeanette!. We want photos!
I will try!! There isn't much regarding PBH CL...I can fix that!!!;)
