Heather: I am up too! And I love that picture! Would you all recommend POR? We are booked at the BC for November but I must admit POR is still a possibility. That is a beautiful shot though.

Sue - glad the surgery went well!

Has anyone heard from Miss? How's she faring down there in the wet weather at CBR?

As for me...I see 3 options I think...

1) move to a moderate (CBR) and add another day at WDW and move Sea World back a day (slightly more than what we're paying right now - $100?)

2) move everything back a day (same length of time as now) - stay at AKL or move to CBR and save $300

3) keep everything the same and give up the BOG ADR :-(

Guess I will have to broach the subject with DH after all...

Koh1977: AKL really is nice for pool time and dining. That filtered sun really does a lot for the sunburn protection... not to mention the beauty of the pool area.

Hello everyone! We are home safe and sound. I've started to unpack and sift through our newest acquisitions. Danimal is off from school tomorrow but it's back to the old grindstone for me. I bought myself some spiffy new Disney post-it pads and pens so maybe it will ease the sting of snapping back to the real world so quickly! Hopefully?

Thanks! It is fun.... (most of the time ) We all just finished playing Star Wars Monopoly - minus Jesse. He last about 10 minutes then he's off doing a variety of little boy things which usually means destroying his bedroom.

The seas were too turbulent...had to find higher ground....HERE!

It's nice to be back! The last days of school are so crazy...kind of like busy doing nothing - if that makes sense. Your school IS actually working on the last day. Thumbs up to yall!! That will definitely make the kids go to school on the last day

A pencil through my eye would be less painful than Educational Statistics!! Oh well...it is what it is. I'm actually an 8th grade teacher working on my masters in Leadership/Administration. I'm almost done - 2 more classes - so it's allgood.

How exciting to have the whole family together!!! Y'all will have such a great time! My sister and her family are in CT, so we don't get to see them much either.

Summer is here for sure!!! And our hurricane season has already started...unfortunately.

Are we talking normal for this thread, or normal to the outside this thread world, because that is two totally different answers. Outside this thread (and boards) it may be thought of as crazy. Inside this thread it's more like "WOO HOO!! You scored a BoG ADR!! Moving your trip back a day is a minor detail."

Besides being 100% normal is 100% BORING!!

Well good news....I passed my midterm!! It was just a 75, but considering some of the other people were talking about using golf rules (meaning the lowest score, gets the highest grade) I am very happy with my little 75, and that was even with running out of time. If I had had a little more time, I would have done better.

Now I have to brag on JM......
He was playing some card game in his last period class with some boys. One of the other boys said that another boy's mother was "on game". John thought it was one of those "your momma" jokes, so he said "well Jared's mom is off game". Evidently, that was a bad thing because the kid (without warning) stood up and punched John in the face. The school called and they were worried about letting John ride the bus. While in the nurses office he kept saying that when he saw that kid again, he was going to break his arms, so he can't hit him (or anyone else) again. The school was worried John would get in trouble and they wanted to prevent that, and asked if I could pick him up instead. They just kept repeating that he wasn't in trouble, that it wasn't his fault. When the kid hit him, he did nothing to him. He did like he is supposed to do and let the teacher handle it. I was so proud of him that he didn't beat the kid that on the way home I stopped and bought him some of his favorite kind of Skittles and white cheddar popcorn. I keep reminding him that even though he's mad at the kid, right now he's the only one in trouble. If he does anything back, he'll be in trouble right at the end of school.

Hi Peeps!!

My friends I have not forgotten you! .... Thank you to everyone for you supprt on my job situation.... It is what it is& I have a job, while others don't. Yesterday was the pits, but today is a new day and promises to be better. I have hope!!

Our weekend in Rochester was a blur... but we got alot accomplished. Plus, last night I found out I don't have to return this weekend, my sister was able to enlist other help for the yard sale! YEAH!!

Just wanted to pass along that today will surely be a better day.. it is my sweet Sams birthday...15!! Wow. Her hair is wet, just was like, "hurry up Mom I gotta get to school!" kids ....

Hi Koh,
You have a couple of options. I've used this in the past to get a ballpark of taxifare. http://www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?city=Orlando

The last time I was in Orlando and had multiple stops I used Tiffany Towncar. I needed transport from MCO to my downtown hotel, then to WDW for a few days, finally to MCO.

I think they calculated this way: 1 roundtrip MCO was about $115.00. (I usually tip 10.00 cash each way.) and then about 40.00? for the intermediate transport. ( from Downtown Orlando to WDW). The roundtrip was on CC, the intermediate was cash. You can book it all ahead of time. If you're thinking about doing this, call and ask them to be sure. (And price can vary if you need a bigger vehicle.) http://www.tiffanytowncar.com/

I have never stayed at CBR myself but it seems people either love it or hate it. The pirate rooms are cute but so far removed from El Centro Not sure if I would want to go from the convience of saying at AKL with everything under one roof to CBR. The preferred rooms in Martinique would be my choice.

IMO there is nothing like staying at AKL and AKL and CBR are worlds apart.

He cancelled his last two Dr Appt is suppose to go on the 11th to see his primary care physician so we shall see. He is stubborn and pig headed just like his Father now that he is older. When he cancelled the neurologist they would not reschedule until he pays a $50 cancellation fee which he is ticked off about so no idea when he will go back to see that Dr

We stayed at the CBR before the refurb, but loved it. The only thing about the pirate rooms is that I've heard (especially from DISUnplugged) that the beds are not comfortable at all.

IMO there is nothing like staying at AKL and AKL and CBR are worlds apart.

Im not a CBR lover....however I am not a moderate resort lover...I like cozy grounds the internal bus has me AND AKL is AMAZING!!!!

I was super hesitant about staying there, but we really did enjoy it. The landscape is beautiful. Just lots of walking....everything is very spread out. So, if it rains you get wet! I would definitely go back for a long weekend.
