3 nights Melbourne beach, then 3 night Polynesian cl, followed by 5 portofino bay cl nights

Grocery shopped, last load of laundry in the dryer and even took Steven for a haircut, which is always a nightmare, today he was super sensitive, but made it through it. So now to catch up again

Haircuts with JM are the same way. I think that's why I tend to let his hair grow out more. He can't stand the clippers and he hates the feeling of cut hair on his neck or anywhere on his body for that matter. I thought it would get better with age, but it really hasn't.

Four weeks from right now I will just about be to my parents for the start of our 12 beach vacation I am so excited to see my niece and nephew, my one year old niece just started walking, so that will be fun and my 3 year old nephew is a little tazmanian devil. We are all staying at my parents for 3 nights before we move over to the condos on the beach for the week. It will be at my parents, but so much fun! I hate that my brother lives in Denver and I barely get to see him, so we are all so excited for the time together!

Some beach time sounds amazing!! I would love to just sit and listen to the waves rolling in.

It's hard when family is spread across the country. I hated it when my sister and her husband was living in NOLA. We would get to see them one time a year at most.

I get what you mean. He especially gets this way around end of school, and Mother's Day.

Koh1977: AKL really is nice for pool time and dining. That filtered sun really does a lot for the sunburn protection... not to mention the beauty of the pool area.

Hello everyone! We are home safe and sound. I've started to unpack and sift through our newest acquisitions. Danimal is off from school tomorrow but it's back to the old grindstone for me. I bought myself some spiffy new Disney post-it pads and pens so maybe it will ease the sting of snapping back to the real world so quickly! Hopefully?

Thanks! It is fun.... (most of the time ) We all just finished playing Star Wars Monopoly - minus Jesse. He last about 10 minutes then he's off doing a variety of little boy things which usually means destroying his bedroom.

Heather? Heather who? You want to come back? Well, I think we used to have a Heather around these parts, but we lost her somewhere near the last day of her DCL TR. We think she went overboard and is still swimming to Cancun.

My DSs still have school for a few more days. Thursday and Friday will be half days for them. The first part of school tomorrow will be spent taking half their final exams. Then on Friday, the last half of the day will be spent taking the last half of their final exams. They do Friday like this so parents won't pick up their kids early.

It's nice to be back! The last days of school are so crazy...kind of like busy doing nothing - if that makes sense. Your school IS actually working on the last day. Thumbs up to yall!! That will definitely make the kids go to school on the last day

Heather - I think the Dis beats Stats any day of the week What are you getting your masters in? I am guessing something business if you are taking stats.

A pencil through my eye would be less painful than Educational Statistics!! Oh well...it is what it is. I'm actually an 8th grade teacher working on my masters in Leadership/Administration. I'm almost done - 2 more classes - so it's allgood.

How exciting to have the whole family together!!! Y'all will have such a great time! My sister and her family are in CT, so we don't get to see them much either.

Are we talking normal for this thread, or normal to the outside this thread world, because that is two totally different answers. Outside this thread (and boards) it may be thought of as crazy. Inside this thread it's more like "WOO HOO!! You scored a BoG ADR!! Moving your trip back a day is a minor detail."

Besides being 100% normal is 100% BORING!!

Well good news....I passed my midterm!! It was just a 75, but considering some of the other people were talking about using golf rules (meaning the lowest score, gets the highest grade) I am very happy with my little 75, and that was even with running out of time. If I had had a little more time, I would have done better.

Now I have to brag on JM......
He was playing some card game in his last period class with some boys. One of the other boys said that another boy's mother was "on game". John thought it was one of those "your momma" jokes, so he said "well Jared's mom is off game". Evidently, that was a bad thing because the kid (without warning) stood up and punched John in the face. The school called and they were worried about letting John ride the bus. While in the nurses office he kept saying that when he saw that kid again, he was going to break his arms, so he can't hit him (or anyone else) again. The school was worried John would get in trouble and they wanted to prevent that, and asked if I could pick him up instead. They just kept repeating that he wasn't in trouble, that it wasn't his fault. When the kid hit him, he did nothing to him. He did like he is supposed to do and let the teacher handle it. I was so proud of him that he didn't beat the kid that on the way home I stopped and bought him some of his favorite kind of Skittles and white cheddar popcorn. I keep reminding him that even though he's mad at the kid, right now he's the only one in trouble. If he does anything back, he'll be in trouble right at the end of school.

Sue - glad the surgery went well!

Has anyone heard from Miss? How's she faring down there in the wet weather at CBR?

As for me...I see 3 options I think...

1) move to a moderate (CBR) and add another day at WDW and move Sea World back a day (slightly more than what we're paying right now - $100?)

2) move everything back a day (same length of time as now) - stay at AKL or move to CBR and save $300

3) keep everything the same and give up the BOG ADR :-(

Guess I will have to broach the subject with DH after all...
