to everyone! Hope you all are well.
Spending weekend cleaning (ILs come next week!), trying to find a good time to go see cherry blossoms next week.

Have to map outline for December trip before ILs come - - but at least we can start moving on it. Seriously hoping we can push for deluxe/SoG split but we'll see.

It must have to do with whether I am signed in on the United site. If I am, it's available. If not, no such luck...there's also. Flight on the 2nd which would let us spend 4th of July there. That would be more than just the $100 extra for an extra day though...and I'm not sure about the crowds...mainly I'd be worried about the 4th at HS...we will see...

Yes you will get 3 separate sets! I'm also going in August and I just customized 3 of my sets still have one more to do when I book the final 2 nights.

I actually asked a Disney cast member this question while on the phone with Reservations on Friday. I was told that if you had used a cc at all to pay for any part of it, the refund would go back on whatever the last credit card you'd used.

So that was what one CM told me.

The only negative to the date changes is the fact that it screwed with my itinerary and park plans... :-/ and the flight is a little later than I'd like. We get in at 1pm on that Saturday. Thinking MK might be our best option since it's open til midnight...? But I was hoping for 2 full days with early mornings and that's not going to happen I don't think... Hmmm...

Ok, question...if we were to do a split stay with tickets and dining plan on the second part of the trip, is there a way to use the park tickets with the first half since they're linked to the bands? Or can you only use the bands you get for each "leg" of the trip? Does that make sense?

You can use your tickets up to 3 days before you check in for your package stay. You will be able to use both sets of Magic Bands for your entire trip. They are tied to your MDE account and not tied to a specific leg of your trip.

I'm going to keep checking to see if the 6am flight opens up, BUT in the meantime...

If we get in at 1, we could be at a park by 4 or 5, right? If you only had 1 early RD morning at MK, which would you do?

A) have an 8am ADR at CP (but miss the actual RD "show")

B) do RD on an am EMH day and a late CP breakfast another day (like on departure day)

Going in the summer, I would pick EMH hands down. We're doing an AK and MK AM EMH next trip because we've always had great luck using it before. Also, in the summer it's great to be ready to leave the park as the crowds and heat of the day shine down!
I'm not sure if it's consistent but I have heard that sometimes in the summer they will RD a little early for MK if crowds build - not quite as consistent as HS, but you'd hate to run into something like that when you're at CP and miss out on jumping ahead of the crowd. Also, when we had our 8a ADR for CRT, we were let in with anyone with an 8-830 ADR so check in took a little longer than I expected and we ended up walking out RIGHT when RD happened. Luckily, it was pouring down buckets of rain so crowds were minimal but I was a little grumpy that we almost lost the edge I had been hoping for.

This is correct, the payment is refunded back to the form of payment.

Had to pop in and say woohoo, bff you totally caught me up LOL. No changes here other than our CRT breakfast, I included all of the pas clan. Im not sure if its a good idea but DS5 has been enjoying going out to meals and he specifically said he wants to eat in the castle

We started doing leaving day breakfast tradition a few years back! Love it! Guess where aug leaving day breakfast is? We've also added on a mid trip breakfast at Trails End. The Buffett looks good!

Decided to do am EMH at MK, QS late breakfast/snack/early lunch, early dinner at CRT and dessert party to finish out the day. Departure day we can sleep in a bit, pack up and check out, then late breakfast at CP, ride a few rides with FP+ then relax in the CL lounge at WL before ME picks us up.
