Our little thread of BIG changes, the neverending saga of the Resort Changers

Morning peeps! Woke up to a big fat bunny sitting in our yard. So disney -like:goodvibes

For the first time i am not contemplating cha -cha -changing! I am so excited not to have to do a split stay(usually i do so i can stay cl a few days). I am going to unpack and relax:laundy:! That orbitz deal was awesome:)

Have a great hump day!princess:

:welcome: All are welcome here, no worries!!!! You are definitely not alone, there's NO shame in our game nor judgment here!:flower3: Pull up a chair, grab a beverage and get to know everyone! My TA may never book for me again, one and done :lmao:

Thanks all! Nice to meet some people on DIS!! :yay:

WDW plans are on hold at the moment. . . I have ASMu booked for October 2013 and am awaiting a decision on whether my mom will or will not be joining us. At that point, I'll decide if we're sticking to ASMu or will be trying something new, and if we'll throw a resort change in to the mix as well!

In the meantime I'll enjoy reading others' adventures and continue my daily 'research' - aka price comparisons, etc.

Happy Wednesday!

Had to pop in and say woohoo, bff you totally caught me up LOL. No changes here other than our CRT breakfast, I included all of the pas clan. Im not sure if its a good idea but DS5 has been enjoying going out to meals and he specifically said he wants to eat in the castle :)

The Pas entourage takes on the castle!! :woohoo: Of course Prince Brian doesn't want to miss out on the royal treatment. :goodvibes

We started doing leaving day breakfast tradition a few years back! Love it! Guess where aug leaving day breakfast is? :rotfl: We've also added on a mid trip breakfast at Trails End. The Buffett looks good!

hmm... 'Ohana? :goodvibes Wish we could fit in TE... but we need more days to do so (or can we add more hours to the day?? Sue, perhaps you can pick me up a time turner while visiting the "other" castl... yeah, now that's a plan....:teeth: )

Hey Janet.:wave2: Glad to be able to help.

Dan, and you always are a big help!! :goodvibes Pop in anytime and sit a spell. These RCers are the best. :thumbsup2

Happy hump day and welcome CoreyGirl! Our first onsite resort was ASMu. :) Just a random bit of info .... :upsidedow

Decided to do am EMH at MK, QS late breakfast/snack/early lunch, early dinner at CRT and dessert party to finish out the day. Departure day we can sleep in a bit, pack up and check out, then late breakfast at CP, ride a few rides with FP+ then relax in the CL lounge at WL before ME picks us up.

Yup, so far we aren't doing a split either!! Still may do a split within Poly & add on CL maybe our arrival day, but putting my big girl panties in place. Let's see if they stay on,

Janet no, leaving breakfast is Kona :upsidedow. Tonga Toast mmmmm, and daughter loves the macadamia pancakes.

Aloha all! My friends are in process of moving to HI and it`s making me nostalgic for our time there... and wishing we were there when Aualani was DONE, not first laid out. *sighs* at least Spring finally came here!

Not much here; ILs come Sat so then it`s time to get Dec trip laid out.

*hugs* to all and keep on ch-ch-changing!

Me again! With a confession to make. . .not only do I keep changing resort plans, but I keep changing travel dates! AHHH! The TA really is going to drop me as a client if I'm not careful.
Getting ready to change September 2014 plans to February 2015. We'll be there in October for a family vacay so I'm bumping the girls' weekend to February. We'll definitely need a break from the Indiana winter at that point and I just can't budget for 3 trips in 6 months' time.
Here goes. . . hitting send on the email. . . .

I don't do breakfast. I don't have time with "rope drop Lyssie"

However, if she doesn't get pulled pork tacos at Kona Kafe then her vacation is not as good.:)

I think it is why I like CL so much. I want coffee, juice, fruit, maybe oatmeal and a pastry. 20 minutes tops! I think i would like the tonga toast and macadamia pancakes, I just wish they had them during the day, they would taste great with my 2pm coffee time:cool1:

!st semester of college almost over and now that we have survived dd and I are texting a lot of our plans for our mom n me trip. Just thankful she still wants to vaca with the old lady.

TGIF!!!

:wave2: We tend to change travel dates too...its all good, no confessions are needed here...and your new plans sound thought out. Since you have the October trip, it's better to space out the trips to appreciate the trip AND get out of some winter... course in a perfect world, you'd keep September and add February! :rotfl2:

Trish, I'm hoping DD will always want to vacation with her old lady too. :goodvibes Your trip will be fabulous! :cool1:

Yum...pulled pork tacos sound scrumptious. We are eating dinner at Kona (a first), the others meals have been breakfast (tonga toast is sooo good!) Staying at the Poly sure makes it easy those ADRs. :)

New ADRs all made, including Wishes dessert party for our last full day!

:woohoo: We are going too, our first night! There's something about always beginning and ending our Disney trips at the MK that make it magical. It's our way of saying hello and good bye, but really it's more like, "we'll be back soon". :goodvibes

Sue, I almost put Kona out there, but 'ohana was too much on the brain! hmmmm.. still debating CL?? Are you guys still doing Citrios for DD's last night?

Maybe we'll put Kona breakfast for our departure day (gee, I hate typing those words!)

OOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOOhhhhh I HAVE to do this for DH, all-you-can eat Mickey waffles!!!
Hey Janet. Glad to be able to help.

I also do daily checks..I REALLY NEED TO STOP!! :confused3 But it is fun pretending with the $$$ I don't have :rotfl:

The Pas entourage takes on the castle!! Of course Prince Brian doesn't want to miss out on the royal treatment.
I am going to book a bunch of ADRs, little man loves to eat at restaurants, we've kinda been "practicing"...and I can always change and cancel...better to have them!

Those tacos DO sound good...perhaps I can escape the Pas boys and we can have a girls lunch one day :thumbsup2

Thank you both :flower3:

We are rope drop too, ESP in August, when we leave park after lunch to get out of mid day heat/crowds. But with 14 days we can afford a breakfast, maybe mon park day! But most days are a coffee & bagel or cereal before heading off for rope drop
I'm thankful my DDs still want to go away with me too :goodvibes
Trying the pulled pork nachos is top on my list at Capt Cooks! Yum

Still struggling with if CL would work. I think the latest dinner pick was crab at Capt Grille lol.

Happy planning this weekend :

:goodvibes
The breakfast buffet is a first, looks sooooo good! I'm looking forward to it!

So...HS day...H and V 8am breakfast so we can get to JTA sign up right away. Lunch at 50's PT...

Originally it was to be RD, lunch at H and V...

Thoughts?

I would do the early ADR at H&V and lunch at 50s...make it a later lunch though, H&V is a decent buffet!:goodvibes

Sue Us too never eaten there! Which day are you going...maybe we can meet up

Corey - I understand your situation! Every time I email the TA I wince... and I imagine she does the same when she sees my email. Like your plans, though.

Pas - both excited and dreading mapping out Christmas. Hoping ILs `get` the cost drama and the newbies understand it`s mainly a touring trip. Did get the new Vacation DVD yesterday to assist in visuals!

Like it! My TA warned me that H&V can be slow but if you`re not focused on characters or can leave when needed, I think you`ll be good!

Off to enjoy my fave event in Annapolis - croquet! It`s almost as much fun as Disney! (Seriously!) Have a great weekend and hope Spring has sprung for everyone! Happy planning!

Well, tweaked my Poly res today. Since my youngest daughter (24) is only with us our first day at Poly (history, we arrive in Florida on aug 7, will be in Ft Lauderdale area untill 17 th when we leave for Universal 3 nights, then Poly 14 nights) I switched us to CL just that one night to make it special for her. She has to return to work, and can't get a month off, lol.
Then me and older daughter will move to regular room at Poly. Hope for late CL check out!!

Woohoo!! They finally opened up the 6am flight the day we leave! Just changed our flights once again! That has us landing at 9:30am so we will be at WL by lunchtime!

We love 50's. Fried chicken, yum yum! I didn't have a good meal at H&V, but that was years ago & I've heard the food is better now!!
