Attraction of the Day...

Stitch

Okay, who else thinks that they should change this into a Lilo & Stitch ride about the movie?! I think that would be so awesome!

I'm for that.

It pains me to have to tell anyone anything 'bad' about Disney...ever.
Stitch is one of the very few things I have ever been disappointed in that Disney has done, especially as big as it was promoted. We were so let down. But, there are many little boys who love Stitch, so I guess there needs to be something for every taste.

I would love it if they took the space and did something with Lilo and Stitch that would capture a broader audience.

I have even thought about, if there is little to no line this trip, giving it a second chance just to make sure I still think it's as awful as I thought it was the first time. I probably won't follow through on that, but I've thought about it.

I've never done Stitch. I've heard so many awful things about it that I've always steered clear. One day I should ride it just so I can say I have but I don't want to use up precious MK time!!!

We've only been on this one time and that was enough! I had read on here before we went about the chilli-dog burp so I plugged my nose for that part! It just wasn't fun at all. I'm claustrophobic so I hated being strapped in like that over my shoulders. They came down so low on me that I had to slouch! It was annoying.

woo hoo.. I'm keeping up! hehe Prob.. because I'm on spring break.. doing nothing.. hehe oh well.

I haven't done this.. and have been debating it because it seems popular and could be fun.. I'm not totally into the whole "stitch" thing.. but then again I've never seen the movie. I prob. won't get to this this trip.. I have to many others..

I hateeee the Stitch ride! That will be one that we DONT do in April. In 05 I got all hyped up to go on it and it was just a disapointment! :guilty:

Hope you're havin a good weekend girl!

I've skipped this ride too because of all the negative reviews. Normally WDW rides get great reviews so I can only imagine how bad it must be. :upsidedow

I couldn't get either of my kids to go in last time. :confused3

Too bad, we love Lilo & Stitch. Lexi's first Disney souvenier was a Stitch plush.

Poor Stitch he doesn't get any DIS love...:stitch:

Sucks because I LOVE Lilo & Stitch :lovestruc . SO MUCH. And I CANNOT stand this ride. It's just weird. That chili-dog burp scent is gross, it smells like the vomit that's in the elevators in my dorm on Saturday nights.

Okay, so I want to keep you guys interested...

Here's a resort map of OKW:

OKWMap.gif

We were on the end of building #53 by the bus stop last year.

I'm anxious to see what building we get this time! Anyone else who's stayed at OKW or known someone who's stayed at OKW, what building number were you?

Building 37 and 33. Two different trips. Loved staying there, really love OKW. As you can probably tell, I just found your new PTR.:rolleyes1

Stitch! I LOVED Alien Encounter when I went with school back in 2001 but had heard nohting but crap reviews about Stitch so we avoided it until 2007... and it was just as bad as expected  It's cute if you're a Stitch fan, but it just wasn't anything special and seemed like a waste of time. We won't be doing that one again any time soon!

Ooo I really did not like that ride. I'm glad we did it once but I will not be doing it again any time soon.

Oh my gosh, Stitch was promoted EVERYWHERE!

I've never done Stitch. I've heard so many awful things about it that I've always steered clear. One day I should ride it just so I can say I have but I don't want to use up precious MK time!!!

It honestly is a waste of time, IMO. You're not missing much!

Hellllllllllllllllllllo girl. Glad you hate it too! April is coming soon! I still need to tell you what rides to call me on.

I know, I feel sorry for Stitch. I LOVE the movie. I even cried.

Ewwwww, the elevators smell like vomit?! :scared:

OKW is amazing isn't it?! We're so excited to see what a 2 bedroom villa looks like! And that's okay you just found this, I'm glad to have you along!

OMG I was so scared of Alien Encounter that I never rode it!

Yeah, it's just one of those things to say you did it once.

Attraction of the Day...

It's Tough to be a Bug

I LOVE that this is inside the Tree of Life. I just always thought that was so cool. The actual attraction is kinda cute, but I'm not a big bug person so some of it creeps me out!

I love TTBAB, it was one of the first attractions I did at WDW and holds great memories. I just remember it the first time and all the little shocks and things, the best bit being the bit at the end when they ask you to sit still whilst all bugs and things leave and your seat moves, its classic. It was the first time I did something like that and just thought it was so clever, and the tree so beautiful and interesting.

I love that end part! It's so cute that the bugs leave and you feel them.

Let me tell you that this is the only ride I'm scared to go on, not just at WDW but anywhere! I am petrifiedddddd of when they run underneath your butt and when you feel them by you ankles!! I did this attraction ONCE in 1998 and will never forget how scared I was :scared:

I'm still going to do it in April but...I'm scared!

I always find the worse bit is when all the huge spiders come down, that completely freaks me out

Okay, I'm glad that I am not the only one scared on this one! :cutie: Next year, we can hold hands again like on Star Tours. ;)

ugh I'm with you on the Stitch thing. I wish they could revamp it to make it a Hawaiian Ohana attraction with Lilo included.

I love Tough to be a bug too!

Hope you had a good weekend!

Hey girl! I wish they would make it a Lilo & Stitch ride too! I love them together.

Did you have a good weekend? Mine went WAY too fast. But this week I'm on Spring Break! :woohoo: I just woke up.

Hey, girl! I'm running back to catch up because I know I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind! :rotfl: Just thought I'd stop in and say hey in the meantime! Have fun on spring break! :thumbsup2

Attraction of the Day...

Tiki Birds

Haha...the Tiki Birds! :scared: So a long time ago, mom made us go on it because we never had before. This was before they changed it and added Iago and everything. People were getting up and leaving in the middle of it. We were one of them. We've made fun of mom ever since for that. Back on my B/F's first trip to WDW, we decided to go on it and see if it was any different with the changes....Nope. Not much changes. Everytime we are walking by it, we always say "Hey mom, want to do the Tiki birds?!" And she gives us a glare. :rotfl:
