Attraction of the Day...

Beauty and the Beast

Okay..picture me..way back when I was 4..It was my 2nd time to WDW. We had just got done watching Beauty and the Beast at MGM and I was in awe-it was my favorite movie and I just saw them in person! We were standing right outside one of the exits that's off to the side and out of the way. We were letting the "herd" clear first before venturing back out. We turn around and there's the Beast walking out! He sees me, stops walking, and gets down on his knees and holds out his hand. He just sits there and waits for my reaction because he doesn't want me to be scared of him. I look up at mom and she smiles and I run over to him and hug him. And as I'm hugging him, my dad took a picture and it's now one of my favorites!

Attraction of the Day...

---awww thats like a dream come true! =)

Attraction of the Day...

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin

I don't really have a memory on Buzz...but I do have a memory ABOUT Buzz. Everyone who knows me knows I love the people mover (TTA). Well, considering I've been on there 1,000's of times...I know the whole spiel forwards and backwards. Well, we always say it with them...and one of the ones that always sticks out in my mind when we're home is Buzz's spiel! "Citizens of Tomorrowland! Join Buzz Lightyear as he saves the universe from the evil Emperor Zurg...." :rotfl:

You're funny.. =D

Helloooooooo my dear...once again NO memories from me, surprise!:sad2: :confused3

Oh well, post that picture of you and the Beast! Wittle Tink and the beast is probably so cuteee! :cutie:

ah both my children love this show - they are enthralled by it. Although the first time DD7 saw it she was obsessed by the stabbing scene. The conversation went like this....

Haha how cute!

In December we were sitting beside a little girl of about 4? And when Belle came out in her yellow dress she turned to her sister (about 6?) and goes "Oh, isn't she beautiful?) It was just so sweet.

Aw that's so cute!

You're funny.. =D

Haha, thanks.

Attraction of the Day...

Expedition Everest

Oh man, I can only say good things about this ride. I recommend asking for the back because it's the best-closest to the Yeti and everything! Plus, when you're going up the big incline, you can turn to your right and see all of AK and you can look way behind you and see the MK-Space Mountain and the Contemporary!

Now for my story- This was from our '08 trip: It was our 2nd to last day, so it was our last time being at AK. Sis and I got fast passes and then mom and dad got fast passes and let us use them! So got on once and as we walking to get back on it, mom said "Look for us when you go up the hill and down the big drop!" So we did, and we found them both times and we waved. Well, as we pulled back into the station for the second time, there were CM's all lined up along the exit doors. As soon as we stood up, they announced that we were receiving a dream! Of course, it was a pass for us to use to stay at the park 1 hour later AFTER EMH's that night. So we couldn't use it-so as we walked, we looked for a nice looking couple and gave the passes to them. Hope they used them! :)

awwwwww u guys r so nice to do that! I wish they were still doing dreams so i could have a chance to get one in april!

Expedition Everest is THE ride my family is MOST looking forward to on this trip. On our first trip, DS wasn't tall enough. Several months later, he was still just a tad too short. So we didn't even go to AK on that trip. This is the year! We are so excited!

I'm a little nervous for DS. I don't want the ride to wreck his day. I guess I'm more worried about the part that goes backwards...

I'm so sorry that I haven't been commenting on your trip report! I don't know how, but it got deleted from my subscribed list. SORRRRRRRYYY! :guilty:

I hope he likes it! Just explain to him what happens..Especially the backwards part. Make sure to tell him that he's NOT going upside down or anything. And let him hold onto your hand or something if it'll make him feel better! Or better yet- youtube it and have him watch it!

Aw that's okay girl, you can still go back and catch up! :)

HEY!!! I'm here!! All your plans sound great!!!! I bet you can't wait!!

Oh EE rocks! I Love that ride!!!

That was so nice of you to give them the passes!! I love doing nice things for people like that. Aww!

No memories from Beauty and the Beast...I haven't seen that show in ages! I know that we have it on video from one of our first trips...maybe I will have to go watch that now.

As for Expedition Everest...I love this ride!!! When my dad, sister and I went in October of 2006, we were on the bus over to AK and were literally the only people on the bus. So the bus driver asked us if we had been on the ride yet and we told him no since it was still being built on our trip before that. So he pulls out this little notepad and gave us a special fastpass so we could ride it without having to wait! It turns out the wait wasn't that long to begin with so we were able to ride it twice. :thumbsup2

EE ~ Summer of 2007....this became my then 5 year olds favorite ride. Once was not enough, twice was not enough, three times in a row was still not enough....but I said NO MORE!!! I rode it 'til I was sick of it and she could not get enough. It was so much fun watching her giggle and enjoy the ride...but I have not been on it since. I think I'll give it another go in March. Maybe. :rotfl2:

Haha Beauty and the Beast is a classic.

That is so cool of the bus driver! It's little things like this that make your day.

I don't know if they're giving out dreams anymore now that the theme has changed.

You will love EE!

Funny story about EE. I went on it for the first time this past trip. In 2006, I was pg. In 2007 I was also pg but didn't know it - someone was looking out for me bc the ride broke down. We fast passed the ride and went on, had a blast. This trip took place 13 days after my divorce was finalized. As I walked around the gift shop waiting for DSis to get the photo of them on the ride - bc DBIL looked hysterical (pic below), I found this shirt and just burst out laughing.

I thought. Yup. Definately!

Here is DBIL. He looks like he is about to give birth! :rotfl2:

That's so cool! I don't remember hearing that story from you!

My favorite memory would really be just going on it for the first time in the summer of 2007. I remember it was the middle of the day in the middle of the summer and the line was nonexistant. My dad, Mike and I all walked right on and LOVED it! I took video of the whole thing and you can see my dad smiling and laughing the whole time. I love it!
