counting down the hours........

11/20 - 12/2
Mom - Disney fan and planner
Dad - the driver
Munchkin - our 4yr old daughter Kayla
Michael - our 2yr old son

Joining us for 11/27 - 12/2
Grandpa - mom's dad
carolita - mom's mom (daughter started calling her carolita when she was two and it stuck)

Lodging: all through dreams unlimited (except great grandpa's of course)
Courtyard Marriott @ DD: for 11/20 - 11/21 @ $25.00 rate
Great Grandpa's in Deerfield Beach, FL 11/22 - 11/23
All Star Movies: 11/24 - 11/27 (AAA Rate (I had cro apply this rate to our existing ressie about 1 month before our trip...no AP rates available for my dates and Dreams can not book AAA rates)
Contemporary Tower: 11/27 - 12/2
Contemporary Wing: 11/27 - 12/2 (code rate for grandpa and carolita)

Started planning this trip as soon as we returned last September from a week at the all star movies...just can't get enough of Disney!!!

We decided to include a visit to seaward and to see great grandpa (dad's grandfather)

We used dreams unlimited and Regina has been the best! We originally booked the All Stars for our 11/27 – 12/2 portion but Regina was able to get us an annual pass rate at the contemporary tower so we decided to split our resort stay. I am so excited because I have not stayed here since I was a little girl and my daughter's favorite ride is the monorail so she is very excited too. When I shared this excitement with grandpa and carolita they decided to join us for part of our trip and surprise their grandkids. I can't wait to see munchkin and Michael’s expressions when they show up!

We plan to get on the road from North Carolina around 12:00 on 11/20 so that Munchkin gets counted for a full day of school and my husband can get a few hours of work in. I am looking forward to a few hours to myself after dropping Michael off at daycare and Munchkin at school. I can have a nice long shower without anyone banging on the bathroom door or opening the shower door and pack the van before picking the kids up and before dad gets home. Counting down the hours now!!!!

We hope to arrive around 10:30pm @ Courtyard Marriott @ DD. We usually stop for potty breaks and let the kids run around a little but that is about it. We have a cooler with snacks for the road.

Here is our itinerary….but a lot of times we just go with the flow…..It’s still fun planning though even if we may not follow this once we get there….

We just got back and my DS (age 4) loved Epcot!!! AK was another story. The Safari was wonerful, but the park was so CROWDED you couldn't move. We were out of there by 1:30, complete with "Marcus Meltdwon". We didn't expereince this anywhere else in our trip. Alos when we ere leaving the Dinosaur ride only had a 10 minute wait posted. I don't want to know what it's like when it's REALLY crowded! I would go to that park later in the day and see the parade, but I doubt you could be there all day with little ones.

Oh, have a WONDERFUL vacation! I can't wait to read your trip report once you return home.

Your plan looks great! I'm looking forward to reading about your trip.
