Our Disney Store is closing

I am confused about the list. So does it mean that all of the Disney stores in central PA are closing? Harrisburg, Lancaster, Hershey outlet???

Where am I going to shop????
Guess the only place will be in WDW.
No, unfortunately you got it right. But, I have heard that the 2 outlet stores(Hershey and Rockvale) will remain open even though they were initially on the closure list. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Otherwise the closest store to me will be King of Prussia.

I also live near Pittsburgh and am not happy about the closing. We hardly get out to South Hills Village as we live near Monroeville. We would go to the Disney Store at Westmoreland Mall. I suppose that is going to change.

DD was just in the Hershey Disney outlet and they had signs up to please be patient as they were switching their registers from Children's Place to Disney.
So, perhaps that means Disney will keep out Hershey store.

The Monroeville Store has been closed for a few years now. I go to the Ross Park Store. They are also Closing. They told us about 6 weeks if lucky. It depends on how fast the inventory moves.

Great Lakes Crossing has a pretty nice store, I didn't see it on the list, as well as Lakeside Mall. I know they're quite a drive from where you are, they're a drive for me & I'm in Grosse Pointe, but hey. There's always disneystore.com! I do love the Somerset store, though. We just stocked up there last weekend and didn't see any signs or hear anything while we were there.

Yet another nail in Michigan's economy, huh? More people out of work. :scared:

My understanding is the one in Southland will remain open! :cool1: I only live 4 miles from there! I was at Somerset last Friday and they were putting up the closing signs. :sad2:

My understanding is southland, fairlane, I think laurel park place are staying open. I would suspect the closing ones are due to high rent.

THe manager at my store said that Laurel Park closed and that most of the Michigan ones are closing because of leasing issues!

HI! Just wondering if anyone knew the last day was for the stores in Pittsburgh. We were told it might be June 21st when we were up there last week to go to the science center and shop. It's a two hour drive for me, so wanted to know for sure before I drove up there and they were already closed.

I am understanding that Disney has taken over the Hershey and Rockvale outlets and they will both be staying. My daughter was just at the Hershey Outlet yesterday and said that all the sale items were an extra 50 percent off. My grandson got a bag of stuff for $30. :yay:

I don't know when they are closing (they may already be closed for all I know), but the one at South Hills Village is not closing. It is staying open. Great for me as it's about 2 minutes from my house! :thumbsup2

From downtown Pittsburgh, it's a straight shot out the Liberty tubes on 19.

Yup, Laurel Park closed quite a while ago. 12 Oaks is closing this week. :(

The one is Vancouver is closing or has closed...VAncouver, WA. I went last week and it said 6 days left and some things were 97% off!

Today was the last day for the Disney Store at the Mall at Robinson in Pittsburgh. Whenever I went yesterday, there was not much stock left, but what remained was marked 60-90% off.

Very sad about the closings. There were a lot of good folks who worked at this store. At least the South Hills store will remain open.

I apparently am the only person who thinks SO??? I went in a few times. Sorry, but if you don't have a little kids or want to wear "teeny tiny T's" then what is there to buy? Hoop decided that "middle age women and men" don't do Disney... this is the result!
We always found LOTS of adult shirts there all the time. We would buy one before each trip.
We also found Mickey shaped plates, vases, cups, and placemats, which are great for keeping the table clean.
We also found antenna toppers, and even bought tickets there.
