Oh no, it is almost over?!

I felt the exact same way you did at the MK last night...I was glad to be there but at the same time it was kind of depressing knowing that it was our last night at Disney World. I almost hate going to the MK on our last night because I love it there so much (if that even makes any sense!).

Okay, I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything while reading this update because that pic of Chris making a face in line at Snow White made me laugh hard.

You know, I read somewhere that BTMRR gets faster as the day goes on because something about the sun heating up the tracks or something. I can't remember the reason exactly. But you get my drift?!

Booooooooooo...your last night. I was sad for you when you sent me that pic of the Castle lit up. Will you cry with me our last night together?

I love the balloons on Main Street! There is just something that screams Disney to me every time I see all those balloons with the castle in the background!

Do you know I have never eaten at Casey's? I need to fix that, don't I?

My brother is like a roller coaster expert and he says that the coasters get faster as the day goes on, so maybe that's why. I love when the CM's get you fired up to ride. What a cool pic of Splash!! I can't wait to hear about Spectro and Wishes because those are my favorites!!

It was fun to go back and scroll through your pictures really fast on this post. You can totally see the light changing as the sun went down, and then dusk, then night. Sigh. I love that time of day at WDW. It's the best. My favorite picture is Splash Mountain. I don't think I've ever really looked at it at night like that. It's beautiful! What a fun evening.

As we walked in to the MK I was of course, happy to be there but sad knowing that this was our final few hours in a Disney park and that at the same time the following day, I would be home in NY

That is a sad feeling when you get into that 'tomorrow at this time I'll be home' frame of mind.

I've never been to Casey's either, it sounded yummy though.

So my mom was definately a balloon holder back in the day at DisneyLand. She said people would ask if they could hold the ballons for a picture all the time. Of course Disney had trained them to say no, apparently this was a common occurance.

Ok-I'm commenting on the last couple of your posts- (just so you don't get confused).

I can't believe you fell asleep.. well I guess you could lie and say you loved the show.. hehe I felt like I could fall asleep in the Muppet show.. it was just really stale to me. if thats even the right work. But I know how powerful air conditioning can be.

Great pics in Jungle Cruise. I also took a lot of pics.. and can't wait to share them.. if I ever get to that part. hehe

Pirates- I love this right too.. I forgot about the dip at the end.. and was like when we started going down.. and then a half a second later I was like .."oh, thats all". idk why but I seriously didn't remember that part. I also like the add of Jack Sparrow hehe

I got stopped by that parade too.. and I'm glad I did because I got some good pics really quick- and it looks like from your next post you did too-waiting at Plaza.

Again, great pics from plaza. I think that place is very pretty- it sort of reminded me of Crystal Palace- its pretty and simple elegance but homey at the same time. However, the food didn't look as good as Crystal Palace. hehe When you told me what you ordered- I was thinking ohh yummy.. and then when I seen the pic I was thinking- that looks burnt but maybe its my computer lighting.. hehe and then you said it was burnt. I probably would of said something. I'm not one to complain either- but that looked really burnt.
But at least you got a great price and for TS atmosphere.

So I guess Disney glasses are just like Disney umbrella's and Disney Ponchos.. not that I'm trying to dis disney.. I love it. But my umbrella and both ponchos were broke before we went home. thats all I'm saying.

Ok guys, this is going to be the last post of the TR So sad its over but can't wait to be able to catch up on everyone else's and read all the new ones that are going to begin. Check out the group PTR we have going for our Nov./Dec. trip to the World! I make my ADRs tomorrow morning for that so wish me luck! The link is in my siggie


When I last left off we had just decided to get over to the hub to watch Spectro and Wishes. I knew it would be super crowded but it was like 8-8:15 so still at good amount of time before Spectro started. We got into the hub and actually found a place right in the middle next to a bench with newlyweds sitting on it and a nice place to sit down on the cement to wait for it to begin. I texted tinkgurl a pic of the castle all lit up and we talked about how we hate the last night at WDW because we dont want to leave. So we waited and waited and waited what seemed like forever and finally Spectro started! Actually, it didn't start until something annoying happened. Literally 4 mins before it began a lady with 4 kids and her husband decide to come over near where Chris and I were standing and taps Chris on the shoulder. Right before this the newlywed bride asked me if I want to stand up on the bench with her to get a better view. I thought that was really sweet of her so as this lady approached Chris I was standing on the bench and he was on the ground. She says to him "Would you mind moving over because my kids want to watch." It was literally FOUR MINS before the parade started! I hate how people just assume that because we're adults we dont want to get in on the fun too! The hub was PACKED with people so if Chris were to have moved he wouldnt have been able to see anything himself! We didn't stand there for 45 mins for him to not be able to see the parade. So he kind of just looked at the lady, stepped to his right the slightest bit (about as much as he could move) and turned around like she didnt say anything LOL He felt bad for the kids but it wasn't his fault that the parents were not the smartest people. And this woman wasn't classy at all...to say the least. She was super trashy looking to be honest haha UGh just annoyed us. Rant over now.

So standing up on the bench I tried to get some good pictures of the parade and do you think that worked out? NOPE! Not a single clear shot None that I even saved. Sorry guys! After I realized I wasn't getting any good pictures I stepped off of the bench and pretty much got bombarded by the mother trying ot get her son up on the bench to take my place!

Soon, Spectro was over. Definitely an amazing nighttime parade! Now it was time to wait for Wishes. I was so disappointed that I wasn't going to be able to get any pictures. However, once it began, Chris took the camera and...well, see for yourselves...

Not bad, eh? He was so impressed with himself for getting some pretty good shots in there. I must have hugged and thanked him 100 times because I wouldnt have been so lucky. I guess his hand is just steadier! LOL

Now is when I reeeeeally started getting sad. I didn't want to go home at alllllll! The parks started emptying out right after Wishes was over. I knew it was pointless to try and head out now and still had one more stop to make before we left so we just waited in the hub for 10 mins or so before heading to get something I'd been craving alllllll vacation....


























































A Dole Whip!!! Hmmmmm this was soooooo delicious! Words can't describe! We just sat there in Aloha Isle while I ate my treat, soaking up what was left of the night and the trip. After I finished, it was time for us to head out. We had to finish packing and get some sleep. As we walked out I got one more picture

We hopped on a bus and got back to ASMo. After we got the rest of our stuff packed we hit the hay.


The next morning we woke up bright and early. Our flight wasn't until 11:50 but the UNmagical express was picking us up at 8:45. I called the number given to us to prepay for our luggage (American Airlines makes you pay) and then called bell services to come pick it up. A few mins after our luggage left, so did we. We went to check in at the desk and saw our bags get weighed which I was really nervous about. Well I kid you not, my bag was 49.7 lbs and Chris's was like 49.2 lbs. I was shocked but we made it! LOL I checked in fine but then of course, we had a problem with Chris. He wasnt in the computer or something which got me nervous but I had his flight confirmation and everything so we just said it was fine and we would check him in at the airport. We both ran into the food court for a quick breakfast and before we knew it, it was 8:45 The bus pulled up and sadly, with tears in my eyes, we boarded. After a few other stops we were on our way to MCO and before we knew it, on our plane back to NY. Chris's parents were there to meet us at the airport to take us home. And that my friends is the end of our journey and our anniversary week in the happiest place on Earth. Thanks to all my readers who stayed reading all along! I appreciate your patience! There will be one more post sometime this week with pictures of our souvenirs.
