Our Anniversary Week at the Happiest Place on Earth!! TR DONE 8/30 SOUVENIR POST SOON

I enjoyed your Epcot update. I hate that feeling that you are wasting time at Disney World. I had that same feeling last time we were in Epcot.

Ok only 2 more days to go on this thing! I need to finish, I'm taking wayyy too long LOL

no worries....i'm still writing a TR from september and december! :lmao: i know people (whom shall remain anonymous) that have taken over a year to write their TR!

you would totally kill ray if you get antsy not making rope drop. we sleep until AT LEAST 9:00 EVERY morning of our vacation except for one MK day. we always like to do MK rope drop once so we can conquer fantasyland without having to fight a million strollers.

Aurora and her Prince whose name I don't know
264.jpg

the one at the top is prince phillip. not sure about the one at the bottom but he looks like a bill to me. :rotfl2:

Although I do love Soarin' a whole lot, I certainly would never wait 100 mins for it! Good thing for FPs.

i'm glad i'm not the only one! everyone just LOVES this ride. i mean, i do love it but it's basically a fastpass or no soarin for me and i don't cry over it. it's not THAT great in my opinion!

love the topiary pictures! we were there for the festival in both 2007 and 2008 so it's nice to see them this year, too!

love the hats, too! you guys are rockin. :cool2:

OMG! Thats so funny!

I love all the pictures of the F&GF. It's so funny because we used to go all the time over spring break and they'd have all the topiaries but until I found the DIS I never knew what they were for. So pretty! The fairy ones are adorable.

I really enjoy Living with the Land too. It is interesting!

Wow. These pictures are amazing! I love test track. That is such a fun ride, I can't wait to take my hubbie on it. Epcot sure looks gorgeous at the flower and garden festival. Oh, and I like your hats :):yay:

Hip-Hip-Hooray! I'm finally caught up- and you have like 2 days left.. hehe Oh well. I'm going to put post #'s so you know what I'm commenting on.

#694
I loved MM very much. I also didn't expect a lot. Idk why though because I don't know anyone Italian and I love Italian food but I just figured it would be average. Thank goodness for the Fantasmic package that lead me there! hehe

You calamari looks soo yummy. We also got that as one of ours- We both never had it before and loved it.
The Penne ala vodka looks soo good.. I was debating with that one. and the chocolate cake.. yummy. hehe

I also loved Chris's spelling.. I would know how to spell that either.. so I feel his pain. hehe My minor is english and I probably would of done the same thing.. hehe

#695
I love Chris is the princess hat- its very him!

Also, I think I like the first pooh better- but he's to skinny- pooh is bigger.. I also agree that pooh is in between the two. But both are really good.

#712

Thank you for all the fantasmic pictures. Unfortunately we didn't get to do that because it kept raining and didn't want to chance it and go back. We had enough wetness for one trip.

#725
I love your pics from Spaceship Earth- my pics didn't turn out so swell. But DH and I loved that ride.. we said thats "our ride". hehe
Also, I heard during the cheerleader time its pretty crazy and loud at the resorts- its only during a certain part of the year and I was also a cheerleader- but from what I heard it would drive me nuts too!

None of my pics turned out from Nemo either.. it made me soo mad. I need a new camera too.. even DH said- you need a new one for next time.. and I'm not going to argue. hehe

#727
I loveeee Sunshine Seasons- it was by far one of my fav. quick service places, especially using the dining plan. Your turkey looks yummy.
DH and I didn't like Figment at all. I thought there was going to be lots of smells and stuff like that- to go with the imagination.. pff- there was nothing-skunk smell.. it was really disappointing.. I'm not sure how it was before.

#745

I love the pics from Pixie Garden.. I missed that somehow when we were there.. I thought I was every where but didn't see it. It's soo pretty.:goodvibes

#749

I am jealous you guys had a Beatles band in England- there was a band playing one night when we were there but its didn't even compare to THE BEATLES!

We got to the little walkway before you enter WS and stopped at the hat shop they have over there.

First we took some shadow pictures..
325.jpg

My best friend & I took a shadow picture in pretty much the exact same spot! :)

DSCN0238.jpg

I love the hats you & Chris bought, too! So cute!

Don't have time to do the replies right now because I want to get an update in before I have to hit the hay! Don't worry, I'll get to them tomorrow :)
When we last left off I believe Chris and I had just listened to the musical talents of the British Invasion. They were really good! We went into the shops over in the UK now. In one of the shops we heard some American kids ask the British CM to give them his best American accent impression LOL I thought that was pretty funny because Americans always try and do British accents but I never thought of a British person doing an American accent. Did I mention little things make me happy? Anyway I thought the perfume makers were really cool.
343.jpg

Twinings stuff was all over this pavillion
344.jpg

We saw Alice but didn't wait in line for a picture...next time we will!
345.jpg

Same with Mary
348.jpg

346.jpg

347.jpg

Next up around the WS was France.
349.jpg

350.jpg

351.jpg

352.jpg

As we approached, I saw the chair stacking performance going on. Chris was, of course, mesmerized.
353.jpg

354.jpg

I was mesmerized by something else...
355.jpg

Hmmmm it was soooo delicious!! I took these pictures..
356.jpg

357.jpg

...then went and sat here while I finished my drink...
358.jpg

There were two ladies sitting by us and they asked me what I was drinking. I told them a Grand Marnier Orange Slush and told them it was really good and to try it. They said they couldn't because they were on a school trip as chaperones. Sucks for them!

We kept walking and it was after 5 now. Our Teppan Edo dinner reservation wasn't until 6:00 but we were getting hungry. We did our best to walk reeeeeally slow to the Japan pavillion. I wanted to buy this for my mom for her garden but it was just a little too high priced for a garden gnome, even if it is Mickey.
359.jpg

continued in next post...

continued from previous post...

Next up, Morrocco!
360.jpg

361.jpg

I love these tiles, sorry about the random lady's butt!
362.jpg

363.jpg

Chris's huge noggin makes this really funny to me
364.jpg

So pretty
365.jpg

366.jpg

367.jpg

368.jpg

Aladdin!
369.jpg

Across the lagoon, looking at the ball
370.jpg

Once again, we didn't take pictures with these guys but I thought of little Brooklynn when I saw "old genie boy" She probably will get to see him this week!
371.jpg

I thought this was cute because Jasmine is whispering to Aladdin
372.jpg

I think the Morrocco pavillion is probably the most beautiful of them all. We looked in one of the shops over there too but nothing in there really tickled our fancy.

Then, in the distance we saw this...
373.jpg

No, I'm not talking about the construction, I mean the Japan pavillion! It was around 5:20 now...we decided to just go check in now and if we got seated early, great, if not, no biggie either. It was hot and our feet hurt and we just needed to sit down in air conditioning. **Side note: Good thing I'm on the DIS or else we wouldn't have found Teppan Edo! There's almost no signs around for it so luckily I knew thanks to my DIS friends to go upstairs where the signs for Tokyo Dining is.** We went up there and checked in...

Up next:: Would we wait long? How would we like Teppan Edo?

Another great update!!! I never get tired of looking at pictures of World Showcase -- each country is just so pretty!

That picture of Jasmine whispering to Aladdin is very cute!!!

How did you like climbing those stairs to Teppan Edo? They kill me every time!

I can't wait to walk around the world showcase, last time i was there i kinda just walked right thru and didnt even look at anything so im really excited to stop and explore a little! I can't wait to hear how you liked teppan edo because i rly wanna eat there sometime in the future..of course keith didnt want to this trip so ill have to wait until the next one!

364.jpg

LOVE this picture! He has to buy this hat!!! You got some great WS pics! You know I missed that Aladdin topiary! How I do not know!? I rarely go into that market place...it always stinks like incense, ick. That stuff kills me. :headache:

Next time I want to stop and take in all of the shows @ the World Showcase. That's something I have yet to do.

Those pics you took of Jasmine and Aladdin were so cute! :thumbsup2

Nice update! I LOVE WS! You know I think the Morocco pavillion is the prettiest, but the UK is still my favorite - mostly b/c of the Rose & Crown LOL!!

I can't wait to hear about Teppan Edo!

That's funny about the kids asking the British CM to do an american accent!

I'm glad you liked the orange slush! Next time I'm trying the citron slush! I wasn't a big fan of the orange one buy DH got the grey goose citron and it was yummy!

Sure, leave me hanging on Teppan Edo!! I'm trying to decide on it for Jan! I've only ever heard good things but I'm a little worried about the kids!

Mmmm, that Grand Marnier Slush looks delish! You haven't tried the Grey Goose one have you?

I love walking around World Showcase! There's always so much to see and do. Can't wait to hear about how yall liked Teppan Edo! YUMMO!

Wow, I'd love to sit and watch the perfume makers! That'd be really cool!

That guy on the chairs is crazy! How in the world does he do that?! :confused3

Whoa, that drink looks YUMMY! You'll have to get one with me over break!

OMG, hahahahahahahahaha - Chris in the Aladdin hat. Okay, he has to put that back on over break so I can laugh until I cry.

Aw...Aladdin and Jasmine are so cute whispering! I'm sure Brooklynn has been on the lookout for Ol' Genie Boy the past few days!

Can't wait to hear about your meal..hopefully the wait wasn't too long!

Morning girl!! Saw you were on .. can't wait for the rest of the report...here i am.. another day at work... another 7 hrs and 59mins of my 8hr work day on DisBoards :lmao::rolleyes1

Heyy sorry I was probably only on quickly, didn't mean to ditch you! Ughh I wish I spent my 8 hr work days on the Dis! Instead I need to read the news websites and people.com all day long LOL

I enjoyed your Epcot update. I hate that feeling that you are wasting time at Disney World. I had that same feeling last time we were in Epcot.

I definitely felt like we wasted time and you're right, thats a terrible feeling in WDW. Its ok though because now we know better what areas to skip when we go back and how to attack FW better!

no worries....i'm still writing a TR from september and december! :lmao: i know people (whom shall remain anonymous) that have taken over a year to write their TR! Ok, phew, that makes me feel better! You got your NYC TR done quick though!

you would totally kill ray if you get antsy not making rope drop. we sleep until AT LEAST 9:00 EVERY morning of our vacation except for one MK day. we always like to do MK rope drop once so we can conquer fantasyland without having to fight a million strollers. I think Chris was ready to kill me by the end of the week for making him wake up for rope drop everyday. When we're back there I promised Chris I wouldn't be anal about getting to rope drop at every park. And if I decided that I want to go, I wont force him to go with me! LOL That is a good idea to get there at rope drop for the MK to get through fantasyland. Plus, the opening show is adorable!

the one at the top is prince phillip. not sure about the one at the bottom but he looks like a bill to me. :rotfl2: :rotfl: thats hilarious!

i'm glad i'm not the only one! everyone just LOVES this ride. i mean, i do love it but it's basically a fastpass or no soarin for me and i don't cry over it. it's not THAT great in my opinion! OMG i couldn't agree more. I didn't wanna say it on here though because I thought I might get banned from the DIS if i said anything remotely negative about Soarin LOL I'm just not crazy over it like other people!

love the topiary pictures! we were there for the festival in both 2007 and 2008 so it's nice to see them this year, too!

love the hats, too! you guys are rockin. :cool2:

Glad you like the topiary and hat pictures!

I love all the pictures of the F&GF. It's so funny because we used to go all the time over spring break and they'd have all the topiaries but until I found the DIS I never knew what they were for. So pretty! The fairy ones are adorable.

I really enjoy Living with the Land too. It is interesting!

I'm sure if it wasn't for the DIS, i wouldn't have known what the topiaries were for either! They are really so nice and amazing that someone can do that. I'm not that creative LOL

Living with the Land was a good tie over while waiting for Soarin!

Wow. These pictures are amazing! I love test track. That is such a fun ride, I can't wait to take my hubbie on it. Epcot sure looks gorgeous at the flower and garden festival. Oh, and I like your hats :):yay:

Thank you!!!! TT is sooo much fun, I'm sure your DH will love it. You guys should get hats too :)

Hip-Hip-Hooray! I'm finally caught up- and you have like 2 days left.. hehe Oh well. I'm going to put post #'s so you know what I'm commenting on.

I wouldn't say I loved MM but it was good and worth it for the price with the F! package. The calamari was sooo yummy, CHris doesn't eat seafood though so it was alllll for me! Chris cracks me up with his spelling, he's soooo bad at it! I love him anyway though lol

#695
I love Chris is the princess hat- its very him!

Also, I think I like the first pooh better- but he's to skinny- pooh is bigger.. I also agree that pooh is in between the two. But both are really good.

Chris was veryyy amusing in his hats LOL You liked Chris's skinny Pooh better...but you're right, he's actually in the middle of the 2.
#712

Thank you for all the fantasmic pictures. Unfortunately we didn't get to do that because it kept raining and didn't want to chance it and go back. We had enough wetness for one trip.

Awww I'm sorry about all the rain!! :(

#725
I love your pics from Spaceship Earth- my pics didn't turn out so swell. But DH and I loved that ride.. we said thats "our ride". hehe

That's cute that you and Austin say SSE is "your ride." We liked it too. The cheerleader time was totally crazy and trust me, I was a dancer and on the kickline in school and friends with lots of cheerleaders but I just don't remember being so loud or them being so obnoxious! Chris knows I need a new camera too so hopefully he'll buy me one before Nov/Dec when we're back in WDW! LOL

#727

SS is soooo yummy!! Figment was just stupid, they need to get rid of it!

I love the pics from Pixie Garden.. I missed that somehow when we were there.. I thought I was every where but didn't see it. It's soo pretty.:goodvibes

The Pixie Garden was sooo pretty!

I love the hats you & Chris bought, too! So cute!

Aww thats so cute and funny that we took almost the same picture in the same place!!

Kristen great update! I can't believe your almost done!

Yesss sad, but true, I'm almost done :(

It looks delicious. Do you know what's in it?

I believe Grand Marnier is a type of liquor. I didn't know about it until this drink though. And then it basically just tasted like an orange creamsicle.

Another great update!!! I never get tired of looking at pictures of World Showcase -- each country is just so pretty!

That picture of Jasmine whispering to Aladdin is very cute!!!

How did you like climbing those stairs to Teppan Edo? They kill me every time!

I agree! The WS is gorgeous and even after all the pictures I've seen, its not enough! The stairs to TE were ridiculous and I couldn't believe how hidden that restaurant was!

Even though we took our time through most of WS, I think we still rushed it. Next time we'll go through even slower and see some of the shows there too. TE update will be soon! Have you guys ever tried any of the Japanese hibachi places around by us?

Subbing! Cant wait to read about Teppan! I am dying to go!:goodvibes

Thanks for joining in!! :goodvibes The TE update should be coming soon!

Those pics you took of Jasmine and Aladdin were so cute! :thumbsup2

Chris is ridiculous with all his hats LOL How the heck did you miss the Aladdin topiary, girl?! You got enough pictures of the rest, I'm surprised you missed that one! You're right about the incense smell in Morrocco too, it was a bit overpowering.

We didn't see any of the shows in the WS either. I've heard some of them are pretty good so hopefully next time we're there.

Nice update! I LOVE WS! You know I think the Morocco pavillion is the prettiest, but the UK is still my favorite - mostly b/c of the Rose & Crown LOL!!

I can't wait to hear about Teppan Edo!

Morocco is definitely one of the prettiest pavillions. Of course you like the UK pavillion the best, EDDIE!!!! haha

I thought that the British doing the American accent was funny too LOL We never think of it the reverse way. I want to try the citron slush next time too!

Before I get all into the review, I would recommend TE! Have you tried any of the hibachi places around by us?

Mmmm, that Grand Marnier Slush looks delish! You haven't tried the Grey Goose one have you?

I love walking around World Showcase! There's always so much to see and do. Can't wait to hear about how yall liked Teppan Edo! YUMMO!

The Grand Marnier slush was yummmmy. I haven't tried the grey goose one bu I soooo want to!

Can't wait to hear about your meal..hopefully the wait wasn't too long!

The perfume makers were cool but the smell was overpowering in there so we didn't stay long! I have no idea how the chair guy can do that and not kill himself!!

The drink was soooo good, we'll get that one AND the grey goose citron one too! And don't worry, I have a feeling Chris will wear all his many hats again for you over break :lmao:

I hope Brooklynn saw old genie boy!
