Ok only 2 more days to go on this thing! I need to finish, I'm taking wayyy too long LOL When we last left we had just finished up our long, exciting, funfilled day at DHS! Now we're on to Friday, April 24th, our Epcot day! Prior to this trip Epcot was my faaaaaavorite park and I was superrrr excited to go here this day! Against my better judgement I decided to let us sleep in a little bit this day. Chris begged me to not make us get there at opening just for one day so I gave in and didn't set the wake up call to wake us up until 8:15 that morning. Late, I know LOL 8:15 for me means Chris got to sleep until about 8:45. We got up as usual, got ready and were heading down to the food court at 9:25, Epcot had opened already. I think I was twitching that we didn't get there at rope drop but I dealt with it. Again, we brought our cereal down to the food court where Chris got us a seat and I went and bought milk and a chocolate croissant for us to share. Those things are good!

We were done eating within 15 mins or so and headed out to the bus stop to wait...and wait...and wait...on a line FILLED with high school aged cheerleaders! Ughh! Apparently Friday began the Cheerleading and Dance World Competitions down in WDW...which means cheerleaders and dancers FILLED the all-star resorts. Holy moley. It totally set us away from ever coming to an All-Star resort again! Honestly, I'm not much older than most of those kids, most of them I was probably only 5 or 6 years older than and they were sooo annoying. More on all that later. So we waited on line for what seemed like forever and after a 25 min wait a bus comes. By 10:25 we had pulled into Epcot! Of course I needed the obligatory "Ball" shot when we walked in!

It was the F&G Festival and all the topiaries were so amazing!

Some man told us he would take our picture for us which was super sweet! Apparently he didn't realize we wanted the Beast, and Belle in the picture LOL

Since we had just walked in the gates to the park, Chris was getting a little annoyed at my obsessive picture taking before we had even ridden any rides so I stopped there and made the choice to just ride Spaceship Earth then. I know most people probably think it was stupid to ride this first thing but it actually worked out fine for us. We waited about 15 mins or so, not too bad. If we had waited til later in the day it may have been shorter but I wasn't disappointed with 15 mins. I tried convincing Chris it was a rollercoaster inside the ball and he believed me for a little while. Then I felt bad and told him the truth HAHA

Of course we needed to see our future, look at my face its ridiculous

We only got stuck once and it was only for a minute or two, which is pretty good from what I've heard. Then Chris had to go to the bathroom, surprise. He's worse than a woman! I took pictures while I waited.

After Chris was done I knew we needed to get over to Soarin' ASAP to get FPs if we wanted to ever ride it.

Our return time was for 3:30-4:30 which was actually earlier than I expected it to be.

Then we headed over to the Seas with Nemo and Friends. Here I thought of little Brooklynn since I know how much she loves this ride!

We waited maybe 10 mins and boarded our seashell. Unfortunately, zero pictures turned out clear on this ride. Reason # 90285028023 why I need a new camera. I took one of myself though! Greasy face, sorry.

Then once the ride was over we went and walked around and checked out the sea life inside the pavillion.

Hey Girl! Nice pics of Epcot so far.. you saved my night, I'm stuck at work til 12am' BORED .. yay something to read and look at! I like how you said about ur bf needing to use the bathroom all the time, thats *ME* when we go to Disney.. or anywhere for that matter, I say to my boyfriend " I need to use the bathroom" and he goes "what a surprise!" its bad LOL because I drink like constantly esp. in the heat of Florida etc. so I can def. say I've pretty much been to every restroom on Disney's property.... at least 100X

After we looked around Chris really wanted to do Turtle Talk with Crush. So we went and waited over in front of the doors to get in to do that. We tried the little quizzes on the computers over there but were terrible LOL So we're waiting over to get into the Turtle Talk theater and we're standing right by the tank outside where there are sting rays swimming around. Well naturally a bunch of kids crowded around the tank which I had no problem with. Then the doors opened and I got body checked by a LARGE lady in ALL PURPLE trying to get to her kid! Uh, hello! I'm not a small little person thats hard to see, at least say excuse me and I'll move out of your way! Chris and I both went "WOWWWW" really loud but the stupid woman didn't even notice me! Seriously lady, calm down. No one is going to steal your kid and if you were that worried than you shouldn't have let them go over to the tank in the first place!! Ughh! Veryyyyy annoying. So we went in and saw the show which was super cute. We both laughed and thought it was great and can't wait to do it again.

Next we decided to head over to the Imagination pavillion. Totally on accident we ended up on the line to ride Figment. Woops. This ride seriously is the most outdated, boring ride in WDW. I'm sorry to anyone who likes it but we both just felt like we wasted our time. I didn't mean to get on line for it and probably never will again. Sorry, Figment. I did take pictures though LOL

Then we went and saw Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. Another waste of time. I've done this before and they make you sit there and watch that 10 minute long Kodak preshow which is annoying. Then the show is just, again, outdated. I knew about the mouse part so I had my feet raised the whole time and Chris couldn't figure out why LOL until the mouse came, then he knew. Long story short, we won't be visiting the Imagination pavillion again any time soon. Sorry to anyone who likes it.

It was about 1:20 now and we were starting to get hungry again so we decided to head back over to The Land and eat lunch at Sunshine Seasons. Since it was prime lunch time the place was packed.

What a great place to eat! I had heard excellent things on the Dis and allears about it so I wasn't surprised when we ate. I ordered the Turkey and Munster cheese on ciabatta bread and got a bag of pretzels and Chris got salami and ham on ciabatta bread and a bag of Doritos and then we got a pink lemonade to share. We always do that, since we're cheap, get one drink and split it. Especially at places where you serve yourself drinks and can just get up and get a refill again whenever you want. We cut our sandwiches in half and switched so we eat had some of both sandwiches.

I hope I dont somehow try and get on this site one day and its blocked, my shift manager has her favorite baseball team site up all the time while working so heck if she can do that, I can do this.. plus in all seriousness.. i am compllletely BORED out of my mind!! This is not my regular shift, I needed off Friday to do something with my boyfriend and I unfortunately work every single Friday, so I had to switch w/someone, so I'm working this one girls shift 4pm-12am.. i would DIE if i Had this shift normally! Shes working for Friday for me.. which is nice.. so it all works out..
I work at the new *casino* in Pennsylvania.. and what I do is quuuite boring...

See, my job is just the opposite. I can get on sooo many sites that basically keep me occupied when we're not busy but the DIS is blocked and its soooo frustrating! What do you do at the casino? 4-12 is a rough shift!

I really never did and still don't have a problem with cheerleaders and I was a dancer for 13 yrs! So these girls were just obnoxious!

I kept doing stuff like that to Chris since 99% of the stuff in Disney he's never experienced. I thought it was hilarious, him, not so much LOL

The Figment ride is better than it was w/out Figment but they should have NEVER changed it from the original. I don't know if you've ever done the original but trust me, it was SOOOOO much better!

I agree the new figment sucks. I liked the old pne alot more. My older kids loved that ride. Claire has only been on this newer one, obviously,since she is only 4. LOL! She likes it, but I know she would've liked the other one alot better. We didn't even ride it this past trip.

Very strange! Casino marketing sounds fun but I've seen the movie 21 and some others and the dark side to casinos is scary! If they're like the movies anyway LOL The hours are about the only good thing about being a teller. Ok I lied its not the worst but its definitely not the best either, especially when you have a bachelor's degree, in 2 different subjects and are STILL stuck doing it for not a lot of money an hour! The hours totally spoiled me though, the latest I'm ever at work is 6:30 which is on Fridays because we close at 6 on Fridays!

The eels in that fish tank freaked me out. At first I didn't see them. Then when I did, I saw another one, and another one...and suddenly they were everywhere. Yuck! That mom should have apologized to you for running you over. Don't let your kids wander if you are going to freak out!
