I loove this! So cute. Do u mind me asking how much it cost? I would love to get one done as we are eating at WCC on our trip. :goodvibes

Have you heard from tinkgurl?
We very much enjoyed meeting her last night at Opry Mills. Check out the picture over on our trip report. Her dad was so gracious to take pictures with everyone's cameras. They were a very nice family!

We'll look forward to the updates she sends you as they travel.

Great update...and I got PAGES behind again...LOL....
I think the drawing is cute too. I'm afraid to do one though, becuase I'm sure I will look super silly. Maybe on of claire in the future though. :thumbsup2

Happy Father's Day to all the daddy's out there! Stay tuned for an update later today! Just as a side note, it has rained for 18 out of 21 days in the month of June here by me. (I'm assuming everyone knows where Long Island is but if you don't its the little arm that sticks out off the bottom right side of the state of NY LOL) Its really quite frustrating! And it doesn't look like the rain is going to end anytime soon because everyday in our 7 day forecast has rain in it too. WTH?! :confused3 Anyway, I'm going to scan the water park pictures in a bit and I'll be back with an update later today! :cool1:

Awww the caricature looks really cute :cutie: I really like the way he drew ur names they're koollll

Why thank you Nicklas glad you like it :goodvibes

LOL thats ok! Glad you're caught up though now.

The caricature is so cool, post a picture of the ones of your kiddos! The tattoo guy is definitely crazy. I saw that he's gone through 6 wives because none of them could deal with his Disney obsession! I'm going to go google him now that you said you found more info on him LOL

Personally, idk how I'd feel doing my business in Mickey....just sayin...

Thanks girl! I don't mind you asking at all, it was $40 which I didn't think was too bad. Then we tipped him like $5 I think since he was so great. Definitely get one done, I'd highly recommend it!

Yes, I heard from tinkgurl last night she was so happy to meet you guys! I checked out the picture on your TR and it came out great! It was amazing to actually see YOU in a picture  I'm sure she'll have an update for me to post later today.

 life is crazy, don't worry if you get behind. Glad you like the drawing! I think you should get one of Claire AND of you and your DH! They don't come out too silly. I have one from when I was a kid thats me as a ballerina and now THAT one is silly LOL

OMG 18 out of 21 days?!?! That stinks! We had a lot of rain this week but really it was just a couple of days of heavy rain. The other night it stormed and it was so crazy...I swear the lightning was nonstop all night. :confused3 Hopefully there'll be some sunshine for you soon!

Can't wait for your next update.

Girlfriend we have been suffering through 18 months of drought. - I live in a farming/ranching community so that is a nightmare for us. I'd gladly take your rain right now.

We are leaving for Disny on the 11th; I added the 12th and we will be there through the 20th:cheer2:. Just 3 weeks to go:dance3: After we leave we'll be heading down to clearwater beach for a day or so:upsidedow and then head home taking the scenic route along the coast with a probable stop off in gulport/biloxi are for some sight seeing there and then darn it - back to the same old grind:sad1:

Before I start on day 4, I just want to say that all the water park pictures were taken with one of those water proof cameras that they sell all over (and in WDW cost you half of your spending $ to purchase). Obviously they're not the clearest pictures. On top of that I had to scan them all and then crop them to normal size because our scanner is about 6 years old and really sucks to be quite honest. Oh well, it did the job but just don't be scared away by the terrible quality of these pictures in this update LOL Thanks guy :grouphug:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the last post I had just finished up our long day number 3 in the World. After another day of running around and being SHOT we were tired and passed right out that night. Not to mention that we both were sunburnt. :headache: Anyway, the next day, day 4, we had planned to go to Blizzard Beach in the morning so we were happy to get to sleep a little later this day. Since the park didn't open until 10 and we had showered the night before (who showers right before a water park anyway?), all we needed to do was jump out of bed, get into our bathing suits, brush our teeth, eat breakfast and be on our way.

This morning we decided to just have a quick breakfast of cereal from our Garden Grocer delivery. We got out of bed at around 9, did what we had to do and headed out. Since the whole fridge thing never panned out as planned, we didn't have milk in our room. So we poured the cereal into the bowls we ordered and just carried them down to the ASMo food court along with our mug. I was disappointed there was no juice down at the food court. Chris told me there was none the previous morning when he had brought our bagels down but I just thought he was blind and missed it LOL NOpe, he was right. I had him go grab a table with the cereal bowls and grab spoons and napkins while I went and got us milk. While getting the milk I spotted the pastry section...bad move! I couldn't resist and also grabbed a chocolate croissant for us to share. Hey, we were on vacation right? I paid for the stuff and then found Chris. We ate quickly and then walked out to get a bus for Blizzard Beach. We only waited like 10 mins and a bus arrived around 9:45.

BB is so close to ASMo which was one benefit of the resort area which is pretty far from everything else. We got there like 2 mins after 10am which worked out great. We got in line to grab a locker key and thats where I purchased the $1,000,000 waterproof camera and then went and put everything we didn't need for the day in the lockers. We also lathered up good with sunscreen, especially on the areas we got burnt the day before. As to not scare everyone with our "wonderful" beach bodies, I wore shorts over my bathing suit and Chris wore a shirt

We went and checked out the park map quickly.
blizzardbeach021.jpg

I believe we then walked left and in my trip journal it says we rode the rides in this color order: red, green, purple. I thought I had a map to refer back to but I've searched all my trip things, disneyworld.com and allears and nothing can tell me what each color has for its rides. Luckily, I found a website online that will.

The first ride was Runoff Rapids. It was a long walk there and it wasn't very hot out yet so we were a little cold. This is a tube ride so Chris and I rode together.
blizzardbeach017.jpg

We got to the top of the ride (with NO ONE in front of us) and I looked at the lifeguards name tag and she was from Holbrook, NY! That's like 20 mins from my house and I know a few people who live out there and went to school in that town's school district including my cousin! I told her where we were from and we all thought it was pretty cool. It's a small world after all! :wizard: Then we had to go down the ride so our convo was cut short.

Next we headed to Teamboat Springs I believe. This is the lazy river, I think I took it on our way either to or front Runoff Rapids.
blizzardbeach019.jpg

We got on TS with a dad and his 2 sons, probably about 8 and 6 yrs old. Chris kept yelling he was going to flip the raft and the boys were getting all excited LOL
blizzardbeach007.jpg

blizzardbeach008.jpg

Great ride!! Next we walked up the miles of stairs to get to Slush Gusher. This is the more tame slide next to Summit Plummet, the huge, straight down slide. For some reason I just wasn't having any part of Summit Plummet today. I live 20 mins from one of the top water parks in the nation (Splish Spalsh in Riverhead, NY) and rode the world's tallest and fastest water slide (Cliff Diver, 80 ft tall and you can see it from the Long Island Expressway) but I wouldn't go near SP. I told Chris he could ride it and I would wait but he has a thing about not leaving me and waiting on lines by himself :confused3

We get to the top of SG and there's our friend the lifeguard from Holbrook. She's asked me again where I said I went to high school and I told her and she told me her cousins graduated from there two years after I did. I didn't know him (then again there was 3200 kids in my high school). Then it was my turn. Wedgie mania!!! Here's Chris right after he picked his bathing suit out of his butt LOL
blizzardbeach005.jpg

Basically we'd had very little waits on any of the rides at this point. We were pleased. I have some more pictures from up top waiting for rides but I'm not sure the exact order there in so forgive me for that.
blizzardbeach010.jpg

blizzardbeach011.jpg

I thought this one was cool because you can see ToT and I think some other resorts out in the distance.
blizzardbeach006.jpg

I took a few others up there too but I guess they didn't come out because I only got like 19 out of 24 exposures from CVS after I had them developed. BB is so close to the AllStars we could see Sports and Music from up top as well as the Tree of Life in AK. It was really a nice view up top of those rides.

Next we headed to the green slides and rode Downhill Double Dipper, Snow Stormers and Toboggan Racers. The stairs you have to climb up really are a killer. There's so many of them! We kept saying we should have worked out more before we came and other people around us were agreeing LOL We could have taken the ski-lift but the line was always so long for it.

Chris of course had to race me down Toboggan Racers and Downhill Double Dipper. He kicked my butt on TR but I beat him on DD! I was so happy because he usually beats me at everything! LOL As we were exiting the pool on DD I wanted to grab a quick shot of him in the water with the tube. I was moving out of the way and so was he (quickly I might add) and I just wanted to get a quick shot but the lifeguard was like screaming at me. Calm down buddy, it wasn't like we stopped in the water and were holding up the line. I got a picture anyway. I think this is from DD, if not its from the bottom of Runoff Rapids.
blizzardbeach016.jpg

Here's one he took of me hiding my body with the mat before heading up to Snow Stormers

I think this is the bottom of Runoff Rapids

continued from previous post...

Actually I just realized I put that all a little out of order. After riding Downhill Double Dipper and Snow Stormers we hit up the wave pool for a few and then we went and grabbed some lunch at that main food court area I can't remember the name of it right now. I did take food porn pics but I think those were amoung the ones that didn't come out because I never got them. This line was the slowest moving line of the whole day and there were only like 5 people in front of us. Anyway, Chris ordered a chicken wrap with fries, I got a hotdog and apple slices and we got a bottle of water and strawberry banana shake to split for drinks. I went and got a seat in the sun while Chris grabbed the food. While we were eating I could hear a bird behind us in a tree. Chris kept telling me to turn around, turn around but luckily (and surprisingly) I didn't fall for his mean trick!

Then after lunch we rode Toboggan Racers. Then again we decided to spend some time in the wave pool. Let me tell you, people are so freakin rude in the wave pool. They just swim and drift into you on the tubes without any little bit of courtesy! Really annoying!!

We kept trying to get a shot of us in the pool together but the waves made it really hard LOL So don't mind my faces, they were wave induced haha

blizzardbeach002.jpg

It was around 2 at this point and we had ridden everything we wanted to. We weren't going to the lazy river because it was not that hot and the river is mostly shaded and we just would have been freezing. We debated on riding some things again since it was so early but most rides had decent lines at this point and we didn't feel like waiting so we just opted to leave. We grabbed our stuff from the locker, returned the key and got back our $5 deposit and headed to the bus stop where we only waited like 5 mins for a bus.

Let me say that I really just love BB!! Like I said, I live near one of the best water parks in the US and I think BB is way better. Maybe thats because I've been to Splish Splash like 100 times and I take it forgranted but still, BB is so much fun. If you've never been there, go!!! It doesn't take a whole day, as you can see, and its really nice on a hot Florida day. There's a kiddie area too with mini-slides and its really fun there too. I remember hanging out there when I went with my family. Next time we do a WP we'll probably try out TL but we certainly won't hesitate to go to BB again.

Next up:: some pool time finally and then a night at DQ!!

Yesss can you believe that?! It actually only rained this morning but was then cloudy and muggy all day. Gross. Thats crazy with that night storm. Lightening scares me, I always think I'll get hit LOL

I updated, check it out!

Girlfriend we have been suffering through 18 months of drought. - I live in a farming/ranching community so that is a nightmare for us. I'd gladly take your rain right now.

OMG you can take at least half of this rain, I'm sorry you guys are in a drought! Thats scary! I hope you get some rain soon. I have family in TX who are actually here visiting right now. I'll have to ask what town they're from.

Yayyyy for leaving for WDW so soon! and for 8 whole days! Thats awesome! I think I may have been to Clearwater beach before...is it on the Gulf? It seems like so many people on here drive to WDW lately. I wish we lived a little closer so we could too. I'm just not into an 18 hr drive!!

cool. I never had the opportunity to go to a waterpark.

Then again, I'm not really a fan.

The new update is great! Love the waterpark pics1 I can't wait to go back to BB it's so cool there! And there was still alot I could do with my baby Niece that was with us also loved it! :thumbsup2

BB looks funnn I didn't decide which waterpark we are going to go to I will let Bryan and Anna choose...... then they can feel like they had some say in the trip :rotfl: We went to BB went I went with my family but I don't member it at all :confused3
Can't wait to hear about Disney Quest popcorn::

Blizzard Beach looks really fun -- we need to make our way over there at some point! We did Typhoon Lagoon last year and loved it -- the theming is wonderful over there as well! Great update!!!

:thumbsup2

You guys look like you've had sooo much fun! I can't wait to see more! I just started getting into this DisBoards this weekend and I think I'm hooked!

I've been to Disney several times before and my family never went into the resorts because we were always staying off property. I'm going on my first grown-up disney trip with my hubbie this time next year! If you stay on property can you just flash your card to get into.. say... the beach at the Poly?

I'm so inspired by your resort hopping! I wanna try!!! And I'm also wanting to figure out the whole boat transportation to Epcot and the resorts. Like I said having been to Disney a bunch and NEVER having tried out the resorts I feel like this is a whole nother side to Disney I can experience!

Did you wear your anniversary pin only on the 1st day?

Thanks for posting your TR, this is great reading!

We love BB its going to great to be there soon. I can't wait it has been so HOT here.
