This may take me a while to get accomplished for lack of time but I'd like to get one started.

Our group consisted of myself, my husband, my 8 year old son and my mom. We stayed at POFQ from June 14th through the 19th and were on the regular dining plan. Here we at at Chef Mickeys:

I do need to add that Crash Bandicoot (my son's stuffed toy) went along with us quite a lot.

We had a two hour flight from Pittsburgh to Orlando and when we arrived we upgraded our rental car with Alamo. Next stop was to Albertsons for some breakfast items and water.

Finally we arrive at POFQ! Our room was ready and we decided to swim until our dinner reservations at 5pm at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. This would be our first time eating there and we were really looking forward to it!

When we arrived the restaurant was empty. They gave us a buzzer and there were a few families waiting for tables. My son was playing with the Lincoln Logs and before he could even build one tiny house our buzzer went off! We were seated in the main room. Our server immediate brought out the chef for us due to my son's multiple food alleriges. He is allergic to milk, peanuts, all tree nuts and every type of fish and shell fish. He reacts to the smell of fish frying severely. Our chef was Eddie Lucier and he did an EXCELLENT job of taking care of my son! (My son outgrew an egg and wheat allergy!)
We ordered our drinks first and my mom and I got the refillable milkshakes as our drinks. My son had his FIRST milkshake make with rice dream and rice milk. Sure I can make them at home but he has never had one in a restaurant before. He was so excited!

I ordered the prime rib as did my mom:

Dh ordered the skillet and they brought way more than one person could eat!

Chef Eddie prepared my son dairy free chicken strips with Japanese bread crumbs. They were excellent!

Naturally when you get fries you need......KETCHUP!

We all had a hard time finishing our meals and we ended up taking our desserts back to the room with us. I forgot to get photos! I had the smores cheesecake and dh and my mom had the apple pie minus the ice cream. My son had one of those popscicles that they sell in the parks. Over all we were pleased with the service and the meals. :cool1:
I'll have to upload more photos later tonight to work on our second day! More to come!

Sounds like they did a great job accomodating your son. I like hearing things like that. It must be so hard to be able to take him out to eat and to have a place like Disney, which serves millions every year, go out of their way to accomodate him is great.

Very true! We don't eat out much and it is such a treat for him to have dessert out too! He has had many dreams come true at Disney and not from the Dream Team but from the Chefs!

It is very encouraging to hear that your son outgrew his egg allergy. My DS7 has allergies to eggs, peanuts and shellfish. He outgrew his wheat and gluten allergy. He tells me every year how he prays to no longer be allergic to eggs. He has been asking to go to the allergist more often to get tested, that's how badly he wants this to be resolved! How old was your son when he outgrew it?

I'm very interested in your reviews because so far 2 out of the 5 restruants that we will be eating at are WCC and CM. I'll be interested in what your other meal stops are and if anymore match ours. WCC is our first night meal too and we have ressies at 5:20. Please keep the reviews coming. I'll let you know at the end how many match ours.

He outgrew it between age 4 and 5 but we kept it out of him for another year before giving it to him. He eats them just fine now and loves them too!
They tell us that he will never outgrew his peanut or fish allergy according to the doctors.

Promise to try and get to more this weekend! My son had a baseball game last night and I could not get online.

Our other meals reviews will be:
Chef Mickey's
1900 Park Fare
Liberty Tree Tavern
Garden Grill

DHS was ate at the Back Lot
Animal Kingdom we ate at Tamu Tamu Refreshments
Typhoon Lagoon Typhoon Tyllies
Epcot Sunshine Seasons
POFQ food court
I wish we had stayed longer this trip but we had to get back home to our annual family reunion.
