Our 5 day Dining Plan with photos!

Thanks for the great reviews! We are trying WCC for the 1st time next month.:thumbsup2

DS9 was allergic to dairy. Outgrew it around age 7.:goodvibes

Am I the only one who thinks that burger at AK doesn't look like meat. Looks more like a veggie burger.:confused3

I'm with your son on Bug's Life. DD and I went on it last year and kept our eyes closed almost the whole time. We love Mickey's Philharmagic though.:yay:

Now that you mentioned it that burger really did look like a veggie burger or else they put some seasonings in it to make it blend with Africa! Sure was different! My son just turned 8 and we are still battling the dairy allergy.

I feel better knowing that other people feel bad for the women casted as the ugly step sisters too. I can't help but wonder if that is bad for someone's self esteem.

Thanks for the great pictures, your are keeping me going before my trip (making me hungry, but keeping me going none the less)

OMG! I was thinking the same thing.. Also wonder if Prince Charming is now full of himself.. Bet he uses that prince charming line on the ladies.. LOL

Gree at reviews and the pics of your son are great! He is a cutie!

Actaully he was really quiet when he came to our table. He didn't say very much at all. He just wanted to know if we were enjoying our meals. The step sisters really are not really ugly...I never thought of them that way anyway. They do make funny faces sometimes that maybe make them look funny. The step mother sure did play her part though. She was a MEANNIE!

Loving this dining report! It's always so great to see how Disney tries to help people with dietary restrictions.

I think some of the CMs would love to be cast as the "ugly stepsisters." Getting to use weird voices and make funny faces would have to be more fun than just being pretty, smiling and sweet all day like poor Cinders. In those pictures, Drizella is clearly having fun wrinkling her nose and Anastasia is positively sparkling, but Cinderella looks a bit like a deer caught in the headlights! I know who I'd rather be! ;)

Thanks! I'm glad you are enjoying the photos! I need to get busy later today with the rest of the trip!

Thanks for the reviews! I just booked 1900 Park Fare for our trip in November due to your review and pictures.

Love all your pictures! Your DS is adorable!

Day 4

Typhoon Lagoon and My mom takes a 7 hours Backstage Tour!

We got up Thursday morning and went to the food court at POFQ for a quick breakfast before dropping my mom off at Epcot for her 7 hour tour! My mom was a bit worried about the tour today due to all of the walking. She had one knee replaced in 2007 and the second knee partially replaced this past January.

This is my waffle at the food court. I forgot to get a photo of his dairy free one!

After dropping my mom off at Epcot we headed towards Typhoon Lagon. It was pretty overcast until around 11:30am. We had lunch at Leaning Palms and I did not have my camera with me that day. Two burgers, fries, cokes and we saved our ice cream treats for later. We didn't really do any slides since my son cannot swim well. I did end up putting a life vest on him for the wave pool. There was a period of about 1 hour where they just stopped making waves? Soon many people were chanting waves, waves, we want waves. Then the big ones came! I did get some really good photo pass pictures at TL. My CD is on the way so I will post them as soon as it arrives!

We stayed at TL until about 2pm when the sky started to get dark again and I could hear thunder in the distance. We made it back to POFQ and got ready for our dinner at MK at the Liberty Tree Tavern. I was looking forward to this meal since we had never eaten there before...even though there are so many bad reviews about the food.

Liberty Tree Tavern 5:00 pm

We arrived at the park about one hour early hoping to meet up with my mom from her backstage tour. I was hoping that the tour was not behind due to the rain. She finally called us about 20 minutes before our dinner reservations and we walked back to meet her on main street!

Here is another after the fact photo of the meal...sorry for forgetting again!

There was a lot of character interaction here and our server was very quick and prompt with drinks and the meal.
Here are a few character shots

Goofy took my son's Crash Bandicoot toy and was playing with the kids that were waiting to be seated. He also took him to other tables.

DAY 5 Epcot
Sunshine Seasons
Seeing the Dream Team!
The Garden Grill

I wanted to get an early start today but my mom was still tired from her 7 hours tour. We did have breakfast again in the food court OOP....well my son did and I brought down a chocolate chip muffin from the room and ordered a hot tea. He had "dippy" eggs, toast and bacon made by the chef due to his allergies. We arrived at EPCOT about 9:30 am and had a few magic photos done with Stitch. Photopass CD is ordered and on its way!

We pretty much walked on Spaceship Earth. Loved the new changes! I took some video of it too!

Next stop was to ride the Nemo ride...it was a walk on too! We had to wait about 5 minutes for Turtle Talk with Crush. My son wouldn't go sit down front with the kids. We took a photo with Bruce and after that ride we went to the Land Pavilion and decided to get lunch. We all ended up choosing the chicken. We were getting burgered out by now!
Sorry again another late photo! Next trip I promise to get the quicker!

My son's meal with some of my chicken added for him:

Oh did I forget to mention that this was when we saw the dream team? A family just got off the Land and they were awarded the Castle Stay from what we heard. I have a half a photo of them. If I'm not allowed to post it let me know and I will remove it asap!

They gave my son a Chip and Dale sticker and he wore it to the Garden grill that evening! We told Dale that we saw the dream team and all they gave him was that sticker.....Dale laughed and laughed!

After lunch we rode the Land and my mom and dh went on Soarin. My son didn't want to ride it. I have never been on it yet in two trips!
DS and I went to the Imagination Pavilion and rode the ride. He wouldn't do the 3-D movie so we went back to Innoventions and did almost everything inside. Mom and DH went to see the 3-D movie and when they came out it was pouring! They stayed put and so did we....cell phones are great when you split up! DS played Wall*E on the playstation and we ended up doing the VISA meet and greet. Minnie and Goofy were inside.

After the rain slowed down we went to Mexico and rode the boat ride, met Donald Duck after waiting in a long line and rode Maelstrom. It was raining again and we needed to head back to our dinner reservation at the Garden Grill.

More rice dream for ds:

This was another very enjoyable meal for us. The service was a bit slow and the characters came around many many times! Our 5pm dinner was over at 6:45 and we raced to get to Ellen's Energy Adventure and did Spaceship Earth again. Mom and dh rode Soarin again with a fast pass and I went and got our free Disney Visa photo and my free photo voucher too! DS and I walked through the gift shops and made our way to see Illuminations. It just started and DH calls to leave so we made them wait for us this time while we watched the show! DS enjoys fireworks. We then took the monorail to MK but forgot to get off at the TTC! We had to ride it back again! By this time we saw WISHES from the monorail! It sure was nice to sit and watch! We couldn't hear though. Once in the MK I took ds on his favorite ride...transportation authority one more time and then we got Ice cream at the Parlor....Another first for him! No rice dream served back home at ice cream shops! It was now about 11pm and time for Spectro. It was a perfect end to a perfect trip...less the rains! My son started to get really tired so I carried him for a bit and he perked up again...maybe the ice cream gave him more energy!

We got lucky on our trip last year at the Meet & Greet. We had Mickey, Minnie and Goofy both times.

Great reviews and I am loving your photos! I want Pluto to put my head in his mouth LOL!

That must be a hot spot for the Dream Team. Nov '06 we were there and got stopped and awarded an invitation to a special viewing area for Illuminations that night. So cool!!!!!:woohoo:
