The ride was a bit rough and a bit of a headbanger, its good to see them keeping the attractions up to date.I thought they were redoing it because Hulk became insanely rough over the years?

The contract which is air tight clearly states what the completed park will be and as long as universal wants they can keep the marvel rights in Orlando. However they have to keep the attractions is a first class manner. Also the final park is clearly described as a two gate park. If Universal decides to have a third gate there will have to be an adjustment to the contract. Marvel could not be expected to let their IP become less important in the theme park they signed the contract with.
I for one am optimistic that there is something more than just Star Wars and Toy Story at MGM (don't care that it's DHS, I'm going to call it MGM to the day I die). It's one of those ones only time can tell whether or not we get something new. Besides there's so much open room there and with both new lands having no definite place where exactly they're going I think we could be seeing more coming (I'm pretty sure Toy Story Land is going behind what is Pixar Place now but I just saw a fan image of it going over by LMA. While I doubt it considering how much of Mania's show building was in the concept art I'm not ruling it out)...and back to the thread.
I didn't think there were any other "lands" to built at HS (nor the land to). I guess once the 2 lands are done they could change other areas of the Park, but that is pure conjecture and I would imagine quite a ways off, if at all.
DHS does have the space for more and at least a third land is being seriously considered. A fourth is also in blue sky if all goes well....and back to the thread.

I know what you think but a third land is in the plans. Phase four would be the one that's unlikely.Yeah...we way ahead of ourselves if we think there's more anywhere close to reality. Conjecture?...probably...plan?...not close.
These things have do be funded, built, received, and then evaluated for acceptance/profitability.
That's a minimum 10 year process for twdc. That's under the best of circumstances.
LMA is the site for the third phase.
From the latest things I've heard they are starting realize they need capacity and with Star Wars not coming on right away they are going to need something done. It could end being that Star Wars is the last thing that opens and toy story and "phase 3" get built first. It will be interesting to watch but initially that area will be staging for toy story. They could easily take advantage of the heavy construction to hold the site...keep it as reserve...and then use it for support facilities as a placeholder for the future.
Doesn't guarantee anything interesting ever gets built.

Monsters inc is the rumor. What is the phase 3 land? I hope they go with another heavily themed Pixar land. Hell, they could have opened up another park and called it Pixar studios. I'd love to be immersed in a lot of those movies.
An expansion of the Pixar Studios are would be extremely ideal. I'd love to see the Monsters Inc. coaster come to fruition, as well as Crush's Coaster and an attraction having to do with Inside Out.
From an investors perspective they don't give a crap about WDW right now. Investors are worried about ESPN and cable cutters.Keep in mind there is really no immediate need for Disney to do anything quickly or expensive since WDW is humming along quite nicely from an investors perspective.

That's why I like the idea of a variety of Pixar, though as others have pointed out at least at this time this is not quite the way they are pursuing, because instead of focusing on just one story they can have a multitude of stories to tell and share pleasing a wide variety of people as well as ages.
Yeah you're right Pixar was def. on a roll for a while. I'm actually interested myself on how well Finding Dory goes. I loved Finding Nemo however it's been 13 years since Finding Nemo came out. Sometimes sequels do quite well after all that time and othertimes people have just lost interest in it and what's interesting about this one to me is because kids who watched the first one aren't kids anymore.Pixar for a very long time was unique...like from 1995-2008.
It's not quite as sure fire as it once was. Still profitable with good characters to draw on...but the last few years has seen some diminishing success.
Topped off by the first flop this fall.
It will be interesting to see how the finding nemo sequel does...which is probably the best overall movie...though that's a matter of opinion.
I for one DESPERATELY want an Inside Out ride. Personally if they do a Pixar "land" I hope they do more than just Toy Story because everything mentioned before (Monsters, Inside Out, Cars) just screams theme park potential. Even though WALL-E isn't in the public consensus anymore it too could make for an interesting attraction. Point is I don't think they should limit themselves to just Toy Story and maybe keep Pixar Place for the othersAn expansion of the Pixar Studios are would be extremely ideal. There's so many options with Pixar attractions, which is why I'm confused why Disney has taken so long to create them.
Hopefully this expansion will bring some amazing new Pixar attractions to the park!
