Other Nightlife offerings now that PI will be closing?

I agree with those who say that the resort bars need to stay open longer, or at least go on some type of rotating schedule, each week. The only problem is getting to and from the resorts if your depending on Disney Transportation, from resort to resort. Maybe an idea would be to keep one resort bar open later in each general area. (Bay Lake area, Epcot area, etc)

I will miss the AC, but have to admit that late nights at PI have always been difficult to fit into our plans. We're usually so wiped out by the end of the days in the park, or having to get up early for something the next day. When we do go, we virtually have to force ourselves to do it. And even then, it's just for an hour or so at the AC once every few trips.

And I agree that the atmosphere at DD after midnight is not that appealing. Walking out to the West Side bus stop at 2am is the one and only time at Disney I've felt nervous for our security.
