Thinking of jumping ship this summer and need some advice!
I travel with my 7 & 8 year old boy. The 7 year old has a physical disability and uses a walker or wheelchair. DCL is absolutely amazing with him and there is nothing on the ship he feels he can't do, it is extremely inclusive.

BUT we are getting a little sick of the ports on the Eastern and Western itinerary and are thinking of trying another cruise line this summer.

For those of you that have sailed other lines, can you comment on kids clubs, activities during the day (we love doing the animation classes, the feud and all of those organized Disney activities) and what exactly is included and costs extra on other lines.

Thank you and sorry for the long winded post!

We haven't sailed other lines yet but will be on the new Carnival Vista in the Mediterranean in 60 days. I'd suggest going on cruise critic and start reading trip reports on other lines you may be interested in. I've learned a ton about CCL and RCCL over there.

I've read a lot of the same comments about the kids clubs as I read here, "my kid doesn't want to leave, counsellors were great," etc.

I do know if you need an accessible room on CCL, they will move people out of those rooms if you need to book one.
