So, the scrapbooking challenge present worked out well, huh?

Here's the story: I was going to get some stuff to send the scrapbooking challenge present. I asked what kind of albums he was working on, and he said several vacation albums, or his Hooters album. I couldn't resist--I bought him a Hooters gift card so the album could continue!

BTW, my dear friend at work thanks you, too, because since I got you one, I just got him one for Christmas!

Aw, Buffy, why not bring the kids? We went to Hooters in Orlando for Thanksgiving dinner (avoiding the crazy people looking for turkey in WDW for a few hours) and it was a riot. DH, DFIL and DS6 and I and Cowboys/Jets game (DH cowboys fan, DFIL Jets fan).

Our hooter girl brought DS a balloon that said "I love hooters" and the adults cracked up about it while he thought it was just the restaurant 'hooters' we were referring to. Then DH got DS a shirt and had all the girls sign it. Well, no one told some of the girls that the shirt was for a 6 year old, OR they didn't care. Most of the signatures said Happy Turkey Day, etc but we had to get creative when we explained the ones that said "Breast Wishes" and "Hugs and Jugs". We couldn't keep a straight face and luckily he's clueless!

OMG! My one and only experience taking 3 of my 4 boys to Hooters was memorable... My gosh.. I will NEVER go back with the 3 boys and DH.. thank goodness DD was at the movies with friends....

DH didn't find out about Hooters til after we got back but I know next time we're near he and DS(14) - who is getting VERY interested in.....al that will want to go.

My quick Hooters story. When I first started dating my DH, his two roommates were Hooters girls, talk about uncomfortable! It was a blessing when Hurricane Andrew destroyed their condo and he had to find a new place to live!

Good one on the turkey! I'll use that! He didn't ask when we read it 'best' wishes (he can read now too but who knows what he thinks it said). we just said beer jugs for hugs and jugs and he was cool with that.

my hooters story.......when DH and I were first together he had a license plate holder from Hooters, I was going in to get our mail when a total stranger asked which one I worked at, now believe me I look NOTHING like a Hooters girl! and that holder came right off the car the minute DH came home that night.
