OT question for DVC ladies......

Actually he didn't say she was at Disney. I'm almost inclined to think not because unless you were there for a two week stay you'd have a tougher time switching outfits on the fly.

To the question at hand:

I'm a speedy dresser normally but! If I've assessed an outfit and its just okay...and then I go off and do something else (in her case make-up)....you might notice that what was okay "just isn't right...isn't in harmony with the day, your make-up, your hair...doesn't quite express the look you want...makes you look dowdy. This sounds like one of those "it just won't quite do switcheroos". One shift like this is okay...more than one and she probably should go shopping.

...We were at Disneyland for the first time.

I had already thought of "white shirt/water rides" (although personally I think white & water are a wonderfull combination) and a few of the other mentioned reasons & they are perfectly valid reasons which I understand. But,none of these applied. We were there during a full moon tho...hmmmm.

SamSam I'm so happy you have those days too! I always wondered if I was the only one!

Since it was your first DVC trip, maybe she wanted everything to be perfect and the outfit just wasn't. For whatever reason. Full moon sounds like as good a reason as any. I've seen people do some strange things because of a full moon, so why not.

I also had no idea that this was a reason for shopping. Good to know!
:D

.... it was our first DL trip,we have stayed at WDW several times,DVC and prior. And she did days & days of clothes shopping just for the trip.

My DH is looking over my shoulder and this is HIS take of the situation:
" I simpathize with your situation. I too am married 25 yrs and come to accept the fact Ladies are delightful, beautiful and very illogical. I enjoy my DW beauty and her company and chuckle internally at her illogical nature. However..she's a Disney nut like me, so that alone could get us through the next 25 yrs. Stop trying to figure it out and enjoy it!!"
