Is camping in France in May a good time to go, my Dad wants to go camping down south as far as i know.

We get 2 weeks at Easter, 2 weeks in October and Christmas, 6 weeks in the summer which starts 1st week in July

We've never been in May before but it is the end of May/beg of June so it should be OK. We always used to go end June/beg July when we had strange hols in this area when my boys were little

Yup complain Bob - who was the train company. I was once on a train that set on fire

I ended up sitting in the rubbish compartment as the replacement train was so busy - sitting on bin bags for 2 hours was a nightmare!!

I wouldnt care but it was one of those "new" cross country trains!!

It was Northern Rail..... I was disgusted.

Well i was about to tell my mum when she said my Dad had agreed we was all going camping. I didn't have the heart to say I didn't want to go.

I'm scared of 3* hotels and I survived a week in a tent in the Andes where it was below freezing every night!!!

It will be a 'holiday home' and I kinda like sleeping cold, means you can snuggle!!

Yup the engine (there was no damage to carriages just a lot of smoke!!). Northern rail are pnats used to use them to get to Donny the trains are like buses . I'm glad you got home in one bit though!!!

I went camping in france loads when i was younger and it was great fun even though we stayed in a tent.

I don't do communal showers lol.

I dont care about hotel stars I prefer to read the reviews - Pop Century at WDW is only a 2* and that was amazing!!! While a couple of weeks ago I stayed at a 5* in London and it was rubbish (and I could have paid for a trip to DLRP with the cost of it - luckilly it was free haha!)

The only thing that puts me off staying in the values and moderates at WDW is the fact that they have outside coridoors, there is something about that I don't like. I like my hotel to have the coridoors on the inside!

I know what you mean butwe got a room on the top floor and it was so quiet there was nobody going past you or anything - it didnt feel strange if you know what I mean?? I liked being outside so I could see the giant Roger Rabbit outisde my bedroom everyday!
