Sounds brill!!! Have you sorted your ADRS?? You must go to Ohana's, we were so lucky our server put us on a table next to window facing the castle and they piped in the wishes music when the fireworks went off, it was amazing (and so was the food!!)

I'm getting there slowly but surely, trouble is i keep changing my mind.:rotfl: I can't actually book them though until the 6th of Feb so i still have plenty of time.
I was planning to go to Ohana's on my Daughter's birthday, I am sure if i told them it was her birthday they would give me a table with a view. Failing that i plan to walk down to the beach at the Polynesian and watch from there.

Good evening everyone, how are we all?

I loved eating at Ohanas, then going out onto the beach to watch the fireworks from a hammock! My friend has to follow a gluten free diet and she got wonderful food cooked especially for her there.

Yeahy Ohana's is amazing! I could eat the banana pudding right now yum yum yum

I do like the look of that hotel, were talking about doing Disneyland in a couple of years (I want to go when they have made most of the changes to California Adventure) and they hotel has caught me eye ;)

Yeah I would like to go back to Disneyland after 2013 to see the changes, they look really good (although I did enjoy the park as it was!) I'd definately stay there again in a theme park view room.

Hi everyone, just reading recent posts about WDW. I've been moonlighting on the UK planning board and quietly planning a trip in the distant future. I'm looking at late August in 2011. I can't get it for less than £3500 ish for 5 of us and that's for 7 days. Am I doing something wrong or is this what I'll have to pay?

By the way Karen and Emma, there are some fab photos of HNY on their hotel pics sticky.

Argh your putting ideas in my head !;)

Does that include your flights as well. My trip for 2 adults 1 child worked out a whopping £4081.11 (why 11p i have no idea) That is for 2 weeks at POR with the DDP, park tickets and our flights.
That may seem expensive but it was the cheapest i could find.

It's certainly never a cheap trip. When I've priced stuff up I've always coem out about £3500-£4k for jack and I for 2 weeks 8 nights MOD/3@US/3@Poly

It was an online quote off Virgin and although it included flights, it was in budget hotel and didn't include park tickets. I wanted to use Tesco clubcard vouchers but you can't combine them with any other offer. My DH says it would be pointless to go for a week. I agree but £4000 is a lot of money and I'm not sure whether we could afford it even if I save for 2 years!:rotfl: It won't stop me trying. What is DDP?

If you stayed at a value or off site it would be cheaper - you might prefer a villa with little ones?

DDp = disney dining plan, free dining.

I'd be tempted to do a week and jsut disney it, but would be sad for jack really as he loves comics and I'd want him to go to IoA.

virgin direct is WAY pricey!!!!

We didnt do it because I couldnt have eaten that much food - would have done if it was free though haha!

I don't think it would be pointless for a week if you were doing disney at all, you have plenty of time to research anyway! Sometimes its cheaper to do a package - esp last minute there are a lot of good ones around :)

I can't bear the thought of doing it separately - it would be too difficult for me! Is there another company you would recommend?

I have looked at the villas but I don't want to drive and I thought they were all further away or not served by the free shuttle.

I would like to do Universal studios. Sorry to be thick - IoA?
